what brushes do you use in procrate for linework and also shading?

No prob I use standard monoline or studio brush that comes with procreate for lining and then I use either soft airbrush or medium nozzle spray paint for shading and colouring

So I drew this bear looking at my laptop while on procreate on my iPad… and when I did the select automatic for shading, It didn’t select anything. I notice you tap outside the outline and the boxed in spots became greyed out. Mine didn’t…. Idk what I did differently
