There are The Beatles, then there is everybody else. Their fame was not hype, they were not created by marketers...they were the genuine article.
Well said!
What that man says is so true...!!
Perfects stated.
The Beatles are just so friggin good even 50yrs later they are still the GOAT
True.
61 years later in total.
Also of note. . .John and George's backing vocals provide the beautiful musical "bed" that Paul's vocals are delivered in. Then the fantastic instrumentals, with John's rhythm guitar, Paul on piano, George (?) on bass, and Ringo's incomparable drumming.
I believe it's Paul, John, and George on the backing vocals. I have the book, "The Beatles - The Complete Scores", and it indicates three part harmony x 3. The same they did on the song, "Because". It sounds so rich.
With Billy Preston on organ.
The vocals are off the chain! That’s what stands out the most! His voice is of a range we’ve seldom heard from him or any other contemporary at least up to that point.
The Beatles are simply the best. 👏
The Beatles: A magical musical miracle, never to be repeated.
Paul is amazing ❤
I love his Little Richard “oooooo!”s
One of Pauls' best vocal tracks :) Good journey...Peace!
Agreed, incredible vocals 👍🏻
Great lyrics, great singing, great music, great song! The whole album is fantastic!
Strange to think someone hasn't heard this before. Just think how much great music they're going to be hearing for the first time... I'm jealous.
So honored to get your reaction over a song that brings everyone together. Magic.
"Oh Darlin' please believe...my throat on now as sore as hell" lol
If there ever was a song that needed no explanation as to its meaning, this would be it. What's stunning is the purity of the musical expperience as an homage to an earlier era of rock torch song which makes it seem so familiar, while pulling out the stops and restraints which also characterized that type of reecord in the past. it's brilliant , it's simple, and it's deeply satisfying.
I think you should check out an oldie called you've really got a hold on me. In that case instead of Paul it is John Lennon singing the lead vocal George and Paul are backing John up in this case Paul is singing with John and George backing him up. Very similar old and new.
MAN!!!! What vocals!! Thanks. Good song too
They didn’t just write and sing and play. They crafted every aspect of each piece to produce the right attack for all the instruments as well as the singing style and backing vocals.
With the not inconsiderable assistance from producer George Martin.
@@gribwitch ALL producers do what George Martin did. They produce are marketable result.
But "The Beatles" took over the studio.
@@jnagarya519 It was more than that. Martin helped them develop their ideas. He understood what they wanted to achieve musically and made suggestions that improved their songs. In some cases dramatically so. They had a mutually compatible association. Not all managers have that close affinity for their artists.
@@gribwitch That's what producers do. They know the technology and its limits; the artist doesn't.
They know the economics. The artists do not.
They know what is marketable. The artist typically doesn't.
That isn't George Martin; that is the role of the producer in all circumstances.
@@gribwitch Martin wasn't their manager.
And when they first walked into the studio he had already been producing for 25 years.
At the beginning he was in charge. As the relationship evolved, "The Beatles" took increasing control -- which Martin had the sense to allow -- which was wholly different than studio discipline at the time. But he was used to dealing with the oddball.
This song has a fifties style which makes it familiar, but they take it to another level with the background singing and the sparse guitar jabs.
It IS about a deep love for his partner. And a Heartbreak.
Try "Till there was you" live in '63 on TV. Its completely different and he nails.
Dig what Ringo's doing on drums!
More Beatles pls..
Maybe the best Paul McCartney lead vocal of all time, inside or outside of the Beatles?
Sir Paul
From the same album you should hear…. “ I Want You (She’s So Heavy)”. John Lennon on vocals and guitar. Link below ⬇️

G'day mate. That was excellent! BTW has anyone ever told you that you sound remarkably like the West Indian fast bowler Michael Holding?
Please react to Beatles - Golden slumbers
Why would he ? He didn't react to THIS song !
So hot. Listen to the bass.
Try Long Tall Sally by the Beatles..... it's ba Little Richard song
🎶💜🎶
"I don't have much to say about this song". Huh ? WHAT ?
🇧🇷🇧🇷
You shouldn’t stop the song to comment, it breaks the magic. If you make comments you can do them while the song is playing, we can hear you.
That little "oo" sound you make is ridiculou, silly, distracting.
Good choise. Good analysis.
Glad you enjoyed it
What analysis ? All he did was describe what the song was about, not the merits of the song itself. It was a joke !
@@gribwitch y que tiene que ver? Que gente de mierda que no deja pasar una opinion ajena si no la destruye primero con aires de superioridad. Let it be
