I love all these informative videos! It's so much easier to spray off the rocks and suck out the dirty water, than to try and spray off the pile of rocks. You only ever get the top layer and the rest is dirty. Work smarter, not harder!

Washing the rocks before putting them in the pond is another option.

Would it be a good idea to rinse it before you put it in? If that's possible?

You can rinse before adding the rock to the pond, but you still might need to rinse again after rocking in the pond. Sometimes it's just easier to do it all at once.
