@@andeli1829 I have no problem with argon gas as I have a 100L for my tig welder but my dad is thinking of getting one just for cold welding and is wondering if it will actually work just on cold welding without the gas

I bought this machine on AliExpress. The machine does not come with any type of instructions, English or Chinese. I cannot get any type of metal to fuse together in cold mode. There is no troubleshooting info. I’ve contacted AliExpress and Andeli via email and received no response. I don’t know what I am doing wrong. The only information is from this video.

Don't buy Andeli, unless you are willing to loose your money. Mine arrived two and a half months ago faulty. I still cannot get replacement, neither my money or spare parts. £700 just thrown away. Have bought it at AliExp. AliExp is not much help either. For £1300 I could buy a proper TIG with same range of functions locally here in the UK, supporting local industry too. Think twice before buying. In the end i just wasted £700 and still will have to pay for new machine with proper warranty and support. Do not make my mistakes!!!
thats horrible but you should have bought it from the andeli store on amazon instead. Aliexpress can literally be anyone and there is no good customer service. thats why ALibaba based shopping is for people who can take the risk
@@KristopherrLove I disagree. I always had good experience with Ali, and had my money back or replacement product. I have received spare part in the end. But still think that Andelli is rubbish. It doesn't reach the amps that are stated by manufacturer. Very poor quality. Customer service is non existent. If your machine breaks you are risking to stay out of business for few months. While my local welding equipment manufacturer replaces brocken machine within 48hours.

You could "probably" use an electrolyte solution like sodium sulphate or salt etc.

Why no foot pedal amperage control?
No stick welding function either.
Do you actually need to use gas when cold welding as it seems the gas will not have any effect because of the instantaneous suspension.
Argon gas is also required for cold welding, and the high purity of argon gas will produce better welding results.
