@@zanehakim7684 oh thanks buddy, I guessed it was falso chord... Pretty obvious now in 2023 but thing is, I'm an old guy ahah I was already around when he first recorded "The Opposite..." and at that time, there was few to none info about scream vocals but what I could clearly get was that his voice was very controlled, while most of the new school hardcore / first wave metalcore guys just screamed their lungs out... Thinking about for example Arye Lehrer from "distance only...", first one that comes to my mind. But in general at that time average scream vocals were more raw than Jeffrey ones.
I was at this warp tour in 03 they played with throw down in venture California or at the colosseum. Shit, I can’t remember it was almost 20 years ago.
Steve Protoss you ever listen to the band On Broken Wings? they have a song about flat Earth. anyways check that album "Some of Us may Never See The World" out!
Poison the Well is my Beatles
Props to the most unpretentious performance of one of the best songs to ever exist.
Thank you I was just on a video for fugazi and this band can live on knowing they were always themselves
ahhh. the golden age of scene
This was from late 80s NYC???
@Pat Kelly Just saying...Poison the Well isn't exactly 80's New York or even late 90's Boston.

whoa his vocals are great here! I know Jeff never screamed with proper technique but it sounds like he is here
i actually think the opposite, he always had a good screaming technique... am i wrong bud?
@@dearillstaygoldno, hes always used false chords (a proper vocal technique). He just never used proper breath control no maximize them.
