@@NovaShocker How do you charge the battery? I’m assuming you need a ladder and have to open the corner part and remove the battery and charge it via a USB? Or do you have to buy a special IKEA charger?
@@churchyjr the blind comes with battery and usb c charger. Lasts about 6-8 months depending on use and yeah youve to get on step stool/small ladder to take battery out charge and put it back.. its much more convenient than some others and ikea home smart app lets to automate to sunrise/sunset for auto/open close which is why i bought them.. have 12 all together now and work great!
i have 3 queston soo are they still good after 1 year and can you connect it with the internet so you can use it with google home and can you set the length how far they go down? thank youu ☺️
Yeah still running well since videos still posted, daily aith sunrise/sunset cycles.. with original batteries that youve to charge every few months.. Ikea has its home app that i think could be connected to homekit/google but you might have to do your own research on that.. you can set the height depending on window size and press button to set it to that level so it will auto close to that height once its set, i think max is 76 inches per product description
Awesome! How are the blinds holding up after 7 months of use?
They’re working great. Got some more for other rooms as well. Had to charge battery one few of them after 7 months now which is expected.

You mentioned it last about 7 months for the battery usage. Did you set the blind to open and close on a daily basics?
Yeah blinds open/close daily on sunrise/sunset schedule per the app. Works well
so i assume one remote can controls multiple windows?
Yea it does but these are set up with ikea smart hub and it controls a lot more.. i have about 12 that do sunrise/sunset routines at same time
