I’m a 41 year old British dad with three children aged 5, 12 and 22. AT is the only thing that all of us, including my wife, have in common. Our house is strewn with books, toys and memorabilia. It’s the only thing I will happily leave my 5yo daughter watching on her own, knowing that she’s being safely influenced by creative and pure stories and concepts. We all cried watching the final episode. I think it was perfect. Emotional, funny and thought provoking. I have nothing but respect for the creators and I think it’s one of the greatest TV series of all time. I’m sure we’ll see it again in some form but for now... sigh....

You should check out Steven Universe. It's one of the most emotionally intelligent shows I have ever seen in my life, animated or otherwise.
The creator got her big break as a storyboard artist on AT, and wrote a lot of the most memorable songs.

I started crying right at the end. My adventures as a child have ended. I just wish I could go back to when I used to watch tuis show with my brother and pretend to be Finn and Jake together, fighting off the evil stuffed animals...

The finale almost brought me to tears, not because I was sad, or didn't like how it ended, but because it made me happy, and kinda created an ending to a whole period of my life. I absolutely love the show, and it is something that I want my kids to watch.

They do, as you could see at the beggining of "Come along with me" there is a huuge candy guardian that the "new Fin and Jake" try to trip with a rope. Bubblegum and the folk of candy kingdom is inside that guardian in a hibernation. It was shown in a bonus episode i think

I remember telling my mom to record every adventure time episode for me ever since he first episode came out. I was 7 at the time and addicted to this show. I would eat dinner and watch it every Tuesday, then Thursday still recording the episodes. Now that I’m turning 16 and living with my dad, my mom sent me in the mail a cd. I put that cd on my laptop and its every adventure time episode until the finale....it brought me to tears knowing how long this show has been and how many laughs it brought me....I love you adventure time, and I am still watching every episode

A tear left my eye at the end of the finale when they show how everyone grew, Also 5:12 i believe it’s not a grass demon version of Finn’s father but it’s how Finn sees himself in the episode when Finn goes to the top of that mountain and gets the “cursed hermit eyes” and turns himself into that monster like creature

I believe fin is the pure incarnation of adventure and wonder, I think fin lives on, through the spirit of adventure and wonder, that’s lil mouse dude could be seen as a reincarnation of fin in a sense, I think fin was very important in the shaping of ooo.

In my opinion they made one of the best ending I've ever seen in a show, it was wrapped up perfectly and they even left it open for you to imagine what happens next, it went from a kids show to a Amazeing heart wrenching show to sit and talk about with so many different things going on. Nah. This is a really good thing! Better to go out with a bang than to die a slow painful death. The amount of fanfare in this episode shows that it is not the death of Adventure Time, but rather a celebration of its legacy.

In the first episode princess bubblegum and finn are bringing the dead back to life. They start with Mr Creampuff and PB says, “We used to date.” Which is referenced in season 10 when Uncle Gumball creates him to be her boyfriend
In the intro we see statues dedicated to "Fin..." and "Jer..." and people are saying this is likely Jermaine, but how disappointing would it be for history to misremember these great heroes! But I think I figured it out. When the intro zooms into a city with dogs who are likely decendents of Jake, you can see the outer wall is yellow and right in the center archway above the entrance is a single black eye. My theory is that Jake is still alive and is the guardian of this city! Jake may be immortal, but Finn and Jermaine are not, so when they died HE made those statues to commemorate his brothers. That adds up for me.
i'd say joined Finn his mother in the computer right before he died so he could continue to protect everyone albeit in a limited fashion

Damn. So so devastated adventure time is over, my childhood show. Looking back on it is crazy. Not much of a tearful person but will admit I cried during the ending. buttttt if you look on the bright side, eventually all of them (except Betty) will be reunited in the Dead World(s), or since their deaths are not confirmed for their timeline (since BMO lives for a thousand years, and Finn, Jake, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline are all mutated, there is a very slim chance that the gravestone might just be a carving of the names of heroes on stone, and they are all alive somewhere out there)

As a person who grown up on the show it hit hard seeing this again it just gave me emotional feelings like how we are probably not going to see fin or Jake or bubblegum princess or bmo and Marceline and every other character again it is sad it made me cry but I hope kids can watch it and have feelings and emotions for the characters like I did hope you guys like it as much as I did
This was by far my favorite cartoon show. The ending made me super sad, but also super happy for all of the memories it gave me.

People not liking the finale because Finn didn't end up with PB? Really? Did you even watch the show? They clearly wrote how Finn matured and grew up over his infatuation with her, contrasting him with the superficial attractions felt by the Ice King. But I guess some "fans" prefer all the character growth to be thrown away just because their ship looks cute
First of all, Finn didn't got over her, she appears in his vault of fears and she was the voice saying "no fear" when rescuing Fern. Plus in the pillow dream, Finn's kids are called Jay and Bonnie, which refers to the two more important people in his life, Jake and Bubblegum. So no, he still has some feelings for her.
Second, It isn't just a "cute ship", Finn and PB had a lot of moments together, you can see that in Pajama War and Burning Low, plus PB did love Finn in Too Young, the main reason why she doesn't like him now is because of the responsibilities. Which is bullshit due to she staying with Marceline at the end and with that, ruining PB's character.
Daniel Muniz I assumed Finn was too immature for her to be with. Finn is 17. Bonnie is 1000+ years old, and so is Marceline. They’ve known each other way longer, and from the hints in the show, felt some sort of romantic feelings for one another.
Regardless of whether Finn has feelings for PB the main point to take here is that PB and Marcy have been hinted at from the very beginning, before Finn was even reincarnated so to want Finn and PB to be a thing as opposed to two characters who share a deep rooted emotional attachment to one another then you're being immature and need to grow up. Yes, you can ship them, but you cannot object to what is already in place.

I am FORTY-ONE YEARS OLD but I have loved Adventure Time ever since I inadvertently watched an early episode on Cartoon Network one rainy Saturday afternoon. I love everything about the show, it really does appeal to all ages. I recently bought the entire thing on bluray, that is how much I love it - and I don't have any kids. This video was making my eyes moist just from remembering the epicness.
was in a pretty gritty situation back around late 2009. 8 year old kid who just witnessed his parents divorce, had his grandpa pass away, and didnt have a good social status. Then this show appeared 3 months later. It felt like a marking stone in my life, as I enjoyed watching this treasure of a show I slowly began to climb out of my depression and enjoyed life again. I know its prolly just a coincidence, but I will always have this show in a special place in my heart. I thank you for everything you've done for me. Rest in peace 2010-2018

1 - when the Marciline and Bubblegum ship was confirmed and they kissed
2 - When the tree house gets destroyed and BMO starts singing

Last time ive seen this show was when they introduced Flame Princess and i kinda just stopped watching it cause i wasnt into the whole romance between finn and flame princess but im legit sad now that its finally come to an end and i missed so much. Finn is buried alogside with Jermaine since they both are incarnations of Catalyst Comets: the yellow comet is actually Jermaine, not Jake. The color of comet somehow is related to characters' color schemes: blue butterffly, blue scarf on Shoko, Finn's blue t-shirt; green Leech's everything etc., but as we realized Jake's true color is blue, not yellow what makes me think that actual yellow comet's incarnation is Jermaine and thats why his name is written next to Finn on the plate in opening.
Upd: moreover, when Finn and Sweet P (who are both comets) have visions when blue comet-like thing (Martin's spaceship) arrives, Jake feels nothing special, wich means that he is not incarnation of comet
More: We may think that Gunter and Nina from Evergreen episode are Finn and Jake's incarnations, which mean Jake's incarnations existed before arrival of Yellow Comet

Avatar the last airbender exist, Ed Edd and Eddy, Codename kids next door, Scooby Doo, What's new scooby doo, the first couple of seasons of sponge Bob, catdog, samurai jack.......Adventure time is good, so good that it ranks with the above shows, but its definitely not the best.

Adventure time is MUCH better than all the rest, it's more than just a funny cartoon, it has substance, creative ideas, EXTREMELY deep lore, heartfelt moments, creepy thought provoking moments, and of course it's funny as hell 😂 Flapjack and Courage the Cowardly Dog are also amazing cartoons that compare to the ones listed above and personally think they're arguably better
My daughter and I
Used to watch Adventure Time, religiously. Eventually we both kind of fell off and missed some seasons. I’m 35 and my daughter is 15, when I sent her the video of the music hole singing come along with me, she was bummed. I on the other hand was crying, ha ha, she took it a little better than I did. I’ll miss this show and the times we had watching it together.

I loved this show ever since the beginning and I've been an adult the WHOLE series. I'm almost 50 now. The "Finale" was satisfying to me, even though it was rather abrupt in delivery. I was saddened by the end of the series, but now it's on HBO!
Finally got to watch every episode then the finale, jeez i feel like i went back in time to complete a part of my past life proper! Now i'm completely empty inside, that's how you know it was a great show
This was one of my favorite shows of all time. I've been here since Season 1, where there was barely any story, a high-pitched Finn voice saying "Eat my sword, Ice King!" and nothing but one adventure per episode. As episodes started to be produced more scarcely due to the release of Then Titans Go, I stopped watching Cartoon Network. I came back for Stakes and (I think it's called) Elements, and then left again. I came back for the Finale, and I actually teared up when Music Hole started playing Come Along With Me. This show and Regular Show have touched me emotionally, and it's really sad to see them go. Now the channel isn't even Cartoon Network anymore, it's just Teen Titans Go Network. I'm really gonna miss Adventure Time and Regular Show.

GoMoTheLawn Oh my God I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with something more....I remember Fin’s squeaky puberty voice, when everything was about defeating the ice king and having fun, and as it progressed the show never had a dull moment. Same with regular show, when it first came out I didn’t watch it for maybe a month because I thought it was stupid until I actually watched the episodes and fell in love, so ever since I’ve watched it until the end, I hate seeing childhood shows like these last so long that you forget that it’s going to come to an end someday, it truly saddens me. It’s almost like losing someone you love

Loved it.
The message is clear to the mature audience, but somewhat difficult to put in words. There are lots of stories to tell, and nothing really ends. People are born, live and die and the story of the whole just flows and keeps going through time.
Besides that, the most interesting thing I noticed is the transformation of Finn. He went from an impulsive person, that used to solve all problems with action and sword fighting to someone extremely rational.

I’ve never cried in any movie or TV show, but I’ve gotta say, that ending where it plays the full version of Come Along With me was the closest to making me cry.

I absolutely love the finale. When Come Along With Me started playing, I was singing along and crying since I've been a fan since the beginning and it's a joy to have made the journey with Fin the human and Jake the dog for these beautiful 10 seasons. I'd like to say goodbye to Adventure Time and hello to whatever new adventure that will come our way.
I cried for a good 10 minutes during the end and when BMO sang his song. Best show ever made and my childhood will forever be tied to this.
