Between this review and the review on Joey's Retro Handhelds, I was convinced that I could benefit from a TrimUI Smart Pro. The price is good (I ended up buying it with the 64GB preloaded micro SD), and holy crap; you weren't joking about the 720P display! Dreamcast handles okay, but it really shines with the arcade games. I did a test run on SFIII: New Generation, and aside from one glitchy stage, it held up well. Then I dug up an arcade cult favorite: Martial Masters. Now THAT plays well on the Smart Pro! NES handles iffy, but the Gameboy games are a bit more precise. I'll be sticking with my Miyoo Mini Plus for most of my retro gaming, but the TrimUI Smart Pro will be my go-to for some big arcade action.

I've noticed people get a bit irrational about unused screen real estate. Even if playing 4:3 games on this results in a bigger and clearer active picture area than on virtually any 4:3 device in its class, they seem to focus on the parts of the screen left black and use that to claim this is "bad for 4:3 games"
You can also tell the difference in screen quality on this vs the 3.5" and 4" screens in things like the RG-Arc and RG-353 series, it's clear even in youtube vids that those have poorer contrast and color brilliance
Just recently got mine shipped from AliExpress for US$61.11 with a case and screen protector included Pity it can't play the Saturn well, but been looking forward to a larger screen upgrade from my Pocket Go V2 for a while now, and this one fit the bill Looking forward to add my Dreamcast library onto it when it arrives 👍
