Thanks Joe 🙂 This was highly intriguing indeed with a heady mix of good food & sinister history combined with a heart attack inducing hike! More live premieres please & have a wonderful week my friend 🤗
Wow amazing views and as they say no pain, no gain it looked like a hard hike but I’m sure you think it was worth it once done. The views are worth what you went through to get there and now you’ve done that all the other Madeira hikes will be easy hahah 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I’m hoping you’ll do more of those 😊 The food also looks amazing!! And the history of places we visit is very important whether it’s good or bad I’m not a believer in rewriting history. History is history and it’s how we learn no matter what age we are. I’m glad you included this it’s good to see a snippet of an important and untold part of history and the human side of it and what the local people went through for years 💙
Totally worth it in the end, although, next time I might take it a little more slowly haha. No need to run up. haha yeah, send me on PR.1 for a sprint now, I am ready. The food in Laos is amazing, really enjoyed that side of it. I am the same with history too, it is important not to airbrush it.
Hi Joe, so glad you are enjoying Laos' cuisine, the countryside & her people. Your "green sauce" breakfast, I think that's Gang Kee Lek (Cassia leaves & flowers) with fire roasted buffalo skin. It's delicious, but too much of it will do a number on you. Have you been to Laos before, or is this your first time? Anyway, enjoy your day, but please be careful among party scene. There was news coming out that several tourist died because of mass drink poisoning, not too long ago. Take care.
Hey Panna, yes, my first time in Laos. The scenery is utterly stunning there and the food is delicious too. ah yeah, it definitely looks like Gang Kee Lek doesn't it, so good! I saw about the tourists, awful! thankfully I didn't go to that area, but that is scary as anything! hope you are well.
You are great, kind hearted and wonderful. I have to do the hike. I enjoyed watching the whole vlog without skipping. Thank you Joey. Beautiful, amazing!
Hi Joe, Good vids here mate, not getting a lot of traction though! I am a long time subscriber to Hungry to Explore and didn't even know this channel existed until last week when a vid came up as a UA-cam recommendation. Maybe you should chuck some food related clips from this channel up on Hungry to Explore as shorts to direct more viewers to this channel. All the best mate, keep it up. Cheers Simon
Glad you found it in the end, I have tried to cross promote through the community posts, but I am not sure so many people see those. I am going to focus on this channel going forwards, so maybe shorts would be a good idea
Liking this video and leaving a comment will help me greatly :)
History should be remembered, let's never repeat the mistakes of the past
100%, even if it is difficult. we must remember it
Amen to that.
Incredible place, that food at the start looked banging. Say I eat sausages on a stick one more time...

My family left Laos because of that war in the 1970's and never went back. There's a Laotian diaspora of Lao people in America, Australia, and France.
It's time to make the journey back to Laos. See the new changes.
yeah, I have noticed, I can see in the demographics of the views
Hello Lao people, welcome We hope you enjoy your visit to our country this time
Thank you! 😃

Beautiful view
Stunning isn’t it
@@TheJoeyP yes
What I like when climbing mountain when I was kid and took 4 hours is to make deep breathing for fresh air, not during mountain farming season.
haha agreed! it would be very unhealthy to do it then. But the view was absolutely stunning, I am glad that I did it
