Used to have one of those two gens back, with reflector and Nichia. Remarkable adjustable moonlight mode, indeed! Add a headband and it a makes a very versatile pocketable light setup.
As much as I loved mine, I ended up selling it, as it had a nasty feature - with slightly discharged batteries you were losing High and Turbo. Might give it another try with the current gen, now that it supports 10440
Dual Fuel AA/AAA single and double cell lights are my current interests.
Thank you for bringing this one to my attention !!
I've been looking into small 90° lights since they seem very practical for clipping onto clothing, thanks for the upload!
Do Reylight next! So curious to see what you think.
The pineapple mini looks so good!
One of my favs of all time. Too bad Manker declared it's now discontinued.
Man, that’s a bummer. Hopefully there is plenty of inventory left because these little lights are great.
I love this light, just ordered another! I use ni-mh batteries that gives 0.1 to 0.6 lumens moonlight, useful navigating middle of the night!
With 10440 it warms up a bit in high and turbo!
It's weird, mine came with a metal case, and was neutral white, I ordered from the same place which had no way to choose colors or light tint, but I hope I get the same as first time!
I made a simple elastic head band for it, it stays horizontally where it can easily pivot un and down, as you said, it's really good for close range!
Also, not many reviews of this light, thanks for testing it! I think I mentioned it to you once some time ago, also the Acebeam Pokelit AA, another fantastic light with 0.5 lumens using regular AA alkaline or ni-mh!
Thank you for the recommendation! It’s a solid light that I wouldn’t have known about if not for you.
@@PardonMyEnglish So I said I ordered another but they just called me from the store and it's no longer in stock and it's discontinued!
I'll have to retire mine to keep it in working conditions! It's the light that got the most use even tho I have other small lights!
Thats a sharp light. I too love an I3t. But i aslo love a 90° . Perun 2 mini gets lots of pocket time. My opinion on this one and similar models is the more people compare them to the oclip however,is the oclip is gonna win. Your continued adjectives for 10440 are cool. Spicy😂. Thats a good one. Excellent content. Bout to snatch the manker up before i can no longer do it.
Nice! I might grab another as well. Maybe the NW version but they seem harder to find.
Great video bud. I have a Perun mini around my neck, facing forward. When I need both hands I can turn it on and voila! Let there be light! lol
Angled lights are very, very practical. I have used a Filzer (not made anymore) AA angled light for 10 years. For edc purposes, they're the best. Kudos and Happy New Year!
Thanks and Happy New Year!
That seems like a lot of super low modes to me.
It’s nice to have the option of a firefly mode, but I’ve never found I need it that low.
I have a light I built that I can go down to like .5 or .75 lumen for firefly, but that’s really low. I have it set it up at 1.5. That works great for my use.
I agree. I cannot think of any use for .1 lumens other than maybe helping one locate the flashlight itself in the dark (?).

I can see that.
I have two Brass Folomov EDC C1’s that blink a very very low lumen. It was draining the battery in the first one I got so I contacted the site I bought it from and they sent me a second one and it also does it.
So maybe that’s why?
Who knows.
lol
