Finally, I'm heading to the west from central Oz over Chrissy and the new year. Looking forward to seeing what I can catch. The second week we are there I'll be staying just a couple of hundred metres from Scarborough. Though I'll try some places here and there.

Hey brother first light till 9am I like to fish🎣🐟 but sometimes the Hezza hang around all day, I like to get to a spot and use those two lures first up if nothing I try bait, sometimes they can be fussy brother🎣🐟

Another top Vid! What's that reel/size you're using? Also what's your "big" reel(s) that you use? I'm getting ready to buy 2 new reels - a smaller one for herring, skippy, whiting etc and a bigger one for tailor, mulloway, snapper. Any suggestions on two that would cover most of that? Thinking Shimano, but Stella is out of my $. Stay salty mate, cheers.
G'day brother thanks for the msg and always a good question 😁🤙 I use a Shimano stradic 1000 for whiting , skippy, tailor, flathead, herring, squidding I have a 2500 reel for them species aswell. For other landbase and offshore reels 5000 - 10000 reels is my sized reels for different species brother. I reckon I could go more reels tho🤣 As for Stella's just go what you can afford or stretch that little bit extra for the build quality🎣 otherwise brother you can catch fish regardless of price🤙 just make sure your knots are good no point having the great gear with crap knots😁🤙🎣🐟 merry Xmas champ and get out there and enjoy the outdoors brother😁🤙🎣🐟💯📽

Hey mate no I didn't t burley up on this episode, water was so good that you could see them around, but a bit of polllard or Chook pellets will get them coming around..... you thread the plastic on the hook and when retrieved it looks like a fish swimming🐟 Herring can't resist

Not really all year round just have to burley up and they'll come, prob a bit harder due to this weather has stirred things up

Another top Vid! What's that reel/size you're using? Also what's your "big" reel(s) that you use? I'm getting ready to buy 2 new reels - a smaller one for herring, skippy, whiting etc and a bigger one for tailor, mulloway, snapper. Any suggestions on two that would cover most of that? Thinking Shimano, but Stella is out of my $. Stay salty mate, cheers.

I use a Shimano stradic 1000 for whiting , skippy, tailor, flathead, herring, squidding I have a 2500 reel for them species aswell.
For other landbase and offshore reels 5000 - 10000 reels is my sized reels for different species brother.
I reckon I could go more reels tho🤣
As for Stella's just go what you can afford or stretch that little bit extra for the build quality🎣 otherwise brother you can catch fish regardless of price🤙 just make sure your knots are good no point having the great gear with crap knots😁🤙🎣🐟 merry Xmas champ and get out there and enjoy the outdoors brother😁🤙🎣🐟💯📽

How do you put the hook in to your slim swimz? So it comes out the top or bottom of the plastic as it is being retrieved

Hey mate no I didn't t burley up on this episode, water was so good that you could see them around, but a bit of polllard or Chook pellets will get them coming around..... you thread the plastic on the hook and when retrieved it looks like a fish swimming🐟 Herring can't resist
