Love the new set to see the yarn in the background. Love the show ‘n tell of the hats! So enjoyed your millcast - as always. Beautiful natural yarn - can’t wait to try it. YEAH to a safe spinner arrival. I look forward to another mill shop tour when it’s running. ❤Stay warm and healthy!
Great news that spinner has arrived. It is lovely to you both sitting in front of the yarn. Peggy's hat looks tremendous. The little jacks making good progress. 🇬🇧
I took a deep breath too, Peggy when the spinner was what seemed liked mm as it was coming off the truck. Baby bump-showing more each week Amanda. Neat to have undyed Making Tracks!!!! Be safe & warm till next week ladies!. Short but packed with info.
Yes, Bliss Yarn…Just watched the episode of Knitty Natty featuring that cowl and your yarn. I had to look you up because I am local in Hartland. So happy to have found you. Can’t wait to visit you.
Love your podcast. Found it a few weeks ago 🎉. Can't wait to see the new spinner in action. 🌟Natalie from the podcast Knitty natty gave a tour of the yarn shop Your mentioned and spoke about your yarn being so nice. She also showed the cowl You mentioned. Certainly put they on my Christmas wish list. Thank you
Congratulations on the new spinner. Peggy's hat is very intriguing to me as a machine knitter. Flat panels are simple to knit, this would be an interesting way to avoid switching to hand knitting to create the decreases. I would be very interested to see you pattern written down. Hope you are able to get around to it with so many exciting things going on at the mill!
I just found your Millcast and love everything you produce. I just got my order of Making Tracks and started a Shift Cowl and hope I have some scraps so I can start, not your scrappy hat but a cowl. I live close to Bliss Yarns and will have to go in and check out your yarn. Can't wait to see more solid colors in your Farm Fresh. Your spinner looks amazing and Peg, I loved your expressions while it was being unloaded.
So exciting the spinner has finally made her way to you! Check out the pretty song “All the Way From Italy” by Aussie bluegrass band The Greencards. I have to tell you I absolutely love everything in my Holiday Box from yarn to body cream and the lovely letter press bookmark. The yarn is amazing and the Making Tracks colorway is so beautiful. Thank you for a fabulous selection. ❤😊
Happy Spinner Arrival! Hooray! 🎉. I was SO INVESTED, lol. I am a crocheter (so far), and I LOOOOVE the JFM “Buttercup” I ordered recently - and let me just say: FASTEST. SHIPPING. EVER. Anyhow! Any chance for a crochet along project or something to that affect, in the future, or will projects be focused on knitting? I’m still a fan, regardless! Hugs to you both - Peggy, you’re gorgeous with or without makeup! Amanda - pregnancy moons beautiful on you! And your bump! Squeeee! Xoxo ☺️🫶🏻🧶🎄 Lisa in Ohio
Exciting about the bare naked Making Tracks... now you realize we're going to want other solids... like a pale gray? Curioius about Valley Fog... what kind of gray is it? Warm? Cool? It does't look as variegated as the other MTs... is that true?
The Valley Fog is more subtle. BTW, we do a fabulous pale grey in Farm Fresh. Every time we make it it sells out! We're spinning a new round right now!
It's the Lindal Tørkle by Ona Woldten. We have kits on our website here: www.junctionfibermill.com/products/kit-lindal-torkle-variation-a?variant=43768628281538
My children attended Waldorf schools for many years (including preschool and high school). I took a class in making Waldorf dolls when my eldest was 4. Amanda, I recommend that you NOT stuff your doll with millet! My kids' dolls were not stuffed with millet. If they had been, the rodents would have feasted on them which could really traumatize a child. Use wool roving or regular polyfill. Also Cody's hat looks great with your scarf! P.S. I really like my Vermont Vice tote!
The main feature of a Waldorf doll (besides being made of natural materials) is that it has a very minimal facial expression. This is so the child can imbue her/his own feelings onto the doll.
I made quite a few of Elizabeth Zimmermanns EZ Babysurprise jacket. Fun to knit ...and you can use your stash up.
Love the Baby Surprise Jacket!

Gotta love general stores for being possibly the only place you can buy a single balloon.
LOL
How exciting about the arrival of the spinner. So shiney and new! Peggy's hat pattern would be perfect for my surprise bag of making tracks.
Congratulations on the arrival of your new spinner.
Styrofoam head is great if you need to pin block. I bought some at Michael's

I'ts not brioche. Just change color every stitch. Peg will get it written up.... sooon. ?
I love Amanda's scarf. Is there a pattern for it on Ravelry?
