Just watched your video of Bandits Roost. We’ve been there twice, staying in different sites. Your video misses the loop of small sites that are in the wooded area above the swim beach. We were in site 32 for the past few days, and it is a great one. We had a 26-ft motorhome backed in there (and would have had room for a car too), and had a beautiful view of the lake in both directions, including the dam. Plus we had some shade. We had to do some leveling, but other than that, it was perfect. Now I’ll grant that if kids were down below swimming, it might add some noise to our site, but there are several others that aren’t right above the beach.
I just thought that it does deserve inclusion. Those sites on the point are beautiful, but not where I’d want to be in hot weather. I want a view and shade too!
    Keep up the good work.

I just booked site 27 after watching this video! But, I do have a general question if you wouldn't mind giving me some perspective. It looks like there are a lot of RVers staying at these areas, and I have a rooftop tent. Is it frowned upon for me to take one of those spots? It will be my first time camping in my RTT so I haven't had the chance to experience any "unwritten rules" just yet.

Your roof-top tent is welcome at USACE campgrounds. Private RV resorts may be another story, but you'll have no problem here. Thanks for watching! Lou
