F-ZERO GX 18th Anniversary - All Cups Master Class

- Today's the 18th anniversary of F-ZERO GX's US and Japan release! The last F-Zero game we got in a home console, and no signs of a new one eighteen years later. To celebrate I'll be playing through all the Grand Prix cups in Master difficulty and with the Blue Falcon, without abusing any advanced techniques such as snaking. Been a while since I last fully completed this game so I'll most likely be a bit rusty. Hope you enjoy!

My favorite racing game of all time. A new f-zero with modern day graphics would be amazing.
I always remember when I ordered this game back in 2003 I was so excited to play it after being such a huge fan of f-zero x. When the release finally came there was a problem with order and as a result it was delayed by a week, that week dragged, my classes in college dragged, my journeys home dragged everything dragged and when it finally came I was so overjoyed and I loved every second playing it.
God! I can't believe that was 18 years ago! Where has the time gone and more importantly where has f-zero gone!

I go on a killing spree especially on Cosmo Terminal. The story mode in this game was ridiculously challenging. I remember trying to beat Diamond Cup on Master and at 4:30 in the morning (I was young), my friend was sleeping over and I woke him up yelling that I beat Diamond Cup then AX Cup came. We were like DAMN MORE STUFF!!
I had to learn advanced tech for the very hard story mode, starting with Goro's mission. You pretty much *had* to learn snaking or shift boosts.
Well played. I always find AX Cup to be very fun, since that's the rare arcade version of the game.
I never played the games personally but I can surely appreciate them for being great and looking great.
I played for years and years while I was a Kid (1 game a year times) , and know with 30yo i just realized there is a "drift boost"
This game rocks! I would love for him to look at AX which is hidden in the games files and can be played through Action Replay.
I tried several times but I guess not hard enough to get it working. I do plan on playing a real Deluxe AX machine later this year or early 2021!

@@alaeriia01 Played it once when it released and that's all I needed. They could've done the 99 approach in much better ways...
And here I thought I was good at F-Zero GX. That Casino Palace and Cosmo Terminal were amazing.

It was sad to find out I was the only player celebrating this apparently. Aside of Sakurai and some news site, nobody seemed to remember.

In order to beat master class, I had to create my own vehicle LMAO
Go after the staff ghosts in a next run. A good way to further improve skill and track times. Need a good custom-built ship for that though.
Looks like you were snaking a fair bit on Sand Ocean?
I did use some advanced tech at times, just didn't abuse it.

Rick Wheeler comes from GP Legend, which released months after GX and AX.
