Gosh I'm so ashamed to say I'm a trini and I looking for smoke herring recipes.....hahaha Chris u are my go to man for Caribbean recipes. Thanks again!
I used to eat them years ago but much too salty for me now as I have aged. they used to go great with a few pints of beer LOL. Never have tried the hot water to get the salt out. East coast Canada Digby Nova Scotia became famous for curing herring that way. It was always known as Digby Chicken. great video as always Chris
Hi Chris, I tried the cabbage with smoked herring recipe and it is delicious. Thanks for the recipe. Can you tell me please, where in Toronto do you purchase the Chelsea boneless herring fillet? I can no longer find the boneless ones in my supermarket. Much appreciated.
No reason to buy prepared food when you can make easy tasty gems like this. I wish you would join the new crave con. They need some Caribbean flare included in that event. Hook up with Daym drops he would love your stuff.
