Simon is the star of the show in this one. Great find and it took some time, thanks for gifting Russel this watch as we now see its features and some other things that we don't know about.
Saw this last night and watched it again this morning with a coffee. Russ your true joy comes out in this one, it's palpable and infectious. Hats off to Simon for making it possible.
Congrats! It brings me joy to see someone get joy from such a simple yet rare watch. Anyone doesn’t think tennis is a tough sport, you’re not playing it correctly…
Tennis! I am also a Tennis coach (just had one of my pupils be a sparring and practice/war-up partner of Alcaraz, Sinner, Rune, Medvedev, Raducanu and other pros at the Indian Wells this year) and since I'm here, you know I'm a watch enthusiast as well! Tennis and Watches go hand in hand. Or rather, watch on wrist.
One of a kind video on the watch-youtube. The colours, and shapes... DAZZLING! Happy for you, and I again felt that long lost sensation of finding out about a new watch, that is truly unique, and is a CASIO! SUPER!
I got into Casio a few months ago. I bought 3 in just 5 months. This one is nice and has a unique function or intended purpose. You deserved that watch.🙂
When you push the light button, John McEnroe yells at you! 🤣 That's awesome Russ, love seeing vintage Casios. Lovely gesture from Simon! Congrats matey!
A cracking watch Russ, that citrus fruit colour makes me want to get one and go on a very exotic holiday, unfortunately I can't justify either. Anyway a great review and congrats with the purchase. I'm in the dog house again after visiting family over Easter and popping into F&G.
Aww I had one of those Casio football timers, nice to see it briefly there. I think I bought it about 20 years ago? I told the shop assistant it was for one of my nephews. I was probably wearing a Rolex at the time and felt a bit embarrassed about buying a Casio.
I love it. I miss these old oddball Casios. I can't remember the reference but I want the one where there's a gauge where water actually enters the watch to determine your depth. That's the most Casio thing ever.
For some reason my imagination pondered what it would be like if you did car reviews. Wild Joey Chitwood-style antics, burning rubber, blown head gaskets, and a demolition derby for all the cars you didn't like. Until then, these watch reviews perk up my day!!
Russ, your effervescent personality cheers me up no end mate, I just lost my wife to a burst appendix last Saturday and your channel has been a great help in my time of grieving. I know this is not the place to mention this so forgive me please. We don't come just for the watches I'm sure. You are a special person, one of kind, and unique so keep making these videos, and I loved the one where you were out in the country side on that new watch release. Thanks and regards from Kev in New Zealand
I am so sorry for your loss...I too, lost my wife in 2019 so I know exactly how it feels... I restarted my watch collection hobby that I stopped 23 years ago after I met my wife because I dont want her to worry over me spending on watches. I was given an advice on starting a new hobby to help fight my depression... I hope things will get better for you (it will), you will need some time. Take care my friend.
Kev! From my family to yours my friend ! So sorry for your loss. If I can bring any light into your world JOB DONE! Thank you for finding this little channel and I’m so glad you’ve kept watching!!!! Ps I maybe out in the country again soon;)
Congratulations on getting the watch of your dreams I can vegley remember seeing it when it was out I am lucky and was around when digital watches were first introduced one of are friends bought one of the first LED ones I cannot remember the make but it looked good back then but we all went off when he was put a new battery in every month the LCD changed the world I got a muscle one but it drove every one made when the alarm went off I wish I had kept them now
My goodness- looking at that LW-70T transports me back to the Late 80’s era. I noticed everything had a bright, colourful futuristic style which led to the nineties Sonic the Hedgehog era 💙🩵
Awesome watch! Does anyone know where I can find a Casio running watch with the digital running man? I had one as a kid and would love to have one now.
You lucky git :P And congrats for getting it, Simon seems an awesome guy! Because of the blue and red lines around it, it kinda looks like a Tron watch as well. Also I never thought I'd hear you say "it is a bit small" wtf Russell are you mental it can never be small enough, as long as you can press the pushers. Push the pressers. Ok it's a bit small.
That’s a Biff & Buffy watch to be worn at the Oak Hill Country Club P.S. Picked up a F91W a few minutes ago for $16.88. Candy Apple Green. I’ll be wearing it exclusively to ride my Mountain Bikes like a bat out of hell in Virginia and West Texas!
I'm very happy for you that you found ultimate grail watch finaly after... how many years? I recently found my grail watch. It's a 1984 Seiko H556-5029 and it's in pretty good condition for a 40 year old watch. :)
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Yes. I remember seeing that Seiko as a young boy in a mail order magazine in 1987 or so. It was too expensive for me so I coulnd't have it or course. I never forgot about it and I didn't even know what brand and type it was. Untill recently. Whenever I looked for a watch, it had to look alike this H556-5029, but I never found one... untill now! :)
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Funny thing is also, that when I first saw it that I also thought that it's a lot smaller than I expected it to be. Of course, it has an advantage too, the whole stainless steel case and bracelet weighs only 75 grams. It's like wearing a titanium watch. :)
The o in counter looks like a power switch.. and when my brain passed over and ignored it, well, the name of the watch changed and it looks like…well something more “adult” lololol
I’ve never heard of or seen this model before. Thanks for sharing it and thanks to Simon. Congratulations!

I continue to be entertained and educated watching your channel. I love you continuous enthusiasm you provide in all your episodes!!

You are definitely excited about this awesome watch! What a great gift to receive.
Very lucky Lance!!!! Thanks for watching!
I am so glad that you're actually going to use that watch! That is amazing, so glad you got it.
I got into Casio a few months ago. I bought 3 in just 5 months. This one is nice and has a unique function or intended purpose. You deserved that watch.🙂
Okay, that is super cool. Not a tennis player, but can appreciate how neat that is!
Casio TennisCounter is perfect for you... Nice watch !! Casio have to bring this watch back with Mad Watch that would be so cool.
It looked small on the close-up, but on the outdoor wrist roll it looks fine, genuinely, I was surprised. Looks flippin fantastic. I... LOVE it.

I’m up for it!!!!
C'mon CASIO!! Let's make a new adult sized version of this and add a countdown timer.
Also, give this awesome man a collaboration!!
I’ve paid m’dues!!!
A TMWC grass court Green limited edition...😅😅

Very cool! I just picked up a JDM G-Steel. Not nearly as rare as that, but I’m pretty stoked… it’s a B600S-1AJF. Great weekender for the summer!
Superb my friend!!
That looks crisp. Happy you finally got to add it your collection
Thank you my friend!
This is SO you Russ. Kind of reminds me of the original Nintendo "Game and Watch" LCD games ❤
Awesome ! Congratulations !
4 vids from Russ in a week. 👏 We’re being spoiled 😂🎉
What a PERFECT watch for you! 🤩👌 Surprised to hear that this cool, and specific model made in the 80's!
Loving that mini tennis court pic between the right-side pushers.
What a cool watch! Never seen it before, absolutely love the specific application of it. Brilliant video as usual buddy.
This is my Man, thank you very much sharing nice review again
I was addicted to the numbers scroll game on my Casio calculator watch. ah the memories 🤓
Awesome gift! There's one on eBay for £392
That's a vintage beauty 😮. I love me a NOS Casio, just gotta be careful with the straps 😅
You're right that is so cool and they need to re-release it in full size square. That scorekeeper pieces still sweet decades later
One of the coolest watches I’ve ever seen!
Congrats on getting your grail watch 😉

Shout out to Simon! What an awesome and generous gift!
This watch actually came from my shop. Glad it got the recognition it deserves and a good home.
Simon is a nice lad as well :)

Did not see that. A tennis instructor. Never in a million years. But you are an awesome watch reviewer 😮
Thank you my friend!

W-48B has blue plastic pushers too😊
Thank you Simon. What a beautiful watch!
To paraphrase the wife "you cannot be serious"... Grail box ticked
Simon knew who is the right person to own that nice watch.
Wow Russ, that is terrific. "40-LOVE"! 🙂
Hahahahaha
Simon is a legend🎉
100%
My first digital in 1980 played the ‘yellow rose of Texas’ but can’t recall if it was a Casio or seiko??? Or maybe a Zetron?
I played tennis all through high school and I am now 39 years old and still play to this day. I NEED this watch!
That's a peach, definitely a keeper.
Casio retro watches are always awesome
Nice watch and it is indeed age well. Casio model number seems to indicate this is a ladies watch.
Does that matter?
Just curious if Casio made a ladies series, had they consider another model for men?
Cool! Congratulations!
A UA-cam first, Russ! Casio has to be the coolest company out there.
Just perfect Russell
Cheers Russell
ACE review, that watch is a great ADVANTAGE, LOVE it!
Simon’s a nice man ❤
Awesome watch! Does anyone know where I can find a Casio running watch with the digital running man? I had one as a kid and would love to have one now.
I'm envious... lovely little watch
That is a gorgeous and very nifty watch. It'd look like a Tic Tac on my big ol wrist. But it is an awesome watch.
Absolutely!!;)

Pretty killer....tho I had casio game watch as a kid "Aerobatics" it was school yard grail watch.....went to relive 80s for collection...wow! $$$$$$
Where can we get that Casio case you showed off at the beginning of the video?? Super cool.
Congrats! Well done Simon!!
For the ultimate retro Casio, you should get ahold of a Melody Alarm watch from the early 1980s.

Stoked for you Russ. Overall a very positive review from Mrs. MWC. And that color would be allowed when you play at Wimbledon, right?
Beautiful combination of colors.
Looking forward to the release of the Casio MWC-70T Tennis Counter

So cool, im not a huge tennis fan but that just screams 80s and that way my childhood 😊👌
I can’t play tennis anymore without this watch!
Hahahahahaha
Amazing timepiece!!
As a tennis fan, this is the coolest watch I've seen hands down.
bro.....absolutely UNREEEEAL!!
A Casio I own that is extremely rare is the MD-740 Marlin Moon graph watch. Can’t find any info on it, I assume it’s from the 90s
Never ever even held a tennis racket, but that was cool. What a decade the 80ies were 👍
have u seen the g shock with full lume translucent nasa strap mod?
Very cool!
Nice! I play ten pin bowling. I wonder if Casio do a watch for that?!

Almost like it was made for you! Fantastic
Have you seen the new G-Steel GST-B600D-1ADR? I think this line is going to be a big seller. A new classic perhaps.
Awesome watch! Unfortunately, if they did a re-issue it would be so special anymore🥺👍
Truly feel that
I would like to know more about the old Aviation range of G-Shocks but can't find any decent videos. I need your help MWC 😮
