I like how each episode the topic hangs in the background and they occasionally go back to visit it.
I could hear them just chat to each other.
I do really miss the skits at the end though.

I loved when you guys talked about being addicted to tiktok and how it doesn’t give you a “buzz” anymore. It’s so true. It’s all ads and fake and weird now. But yet there’s a few really important and good ones, and I want to stay informed

also speaking of AI, it has been an actual nightmare for a lot of people in the art industry. photography, writing, art. I do commission work and have a lot of friends who also do commission work and its getting really bad. Even artists that are much bigger then me are struggling to get work and engagement because people are choosing to use AI instead. I know people are broke but it sets a horrible precedent, and there are always people who will offer cheaper versions of a service (of course quality might not be the same) Unfortunately though these things are considered a luxury service, but people feel as they *deserve* them, and paying a real person is too much. Its fucked.

I feel like there’s too much pressure for yall to stay on topic when in all reality the best part is when you guys just chat about what you find interesting I love that

I crochet and AI project photos and patterns are a big issue right now. A lot of fellow crocheters have loved ones showing them AI "projects" asking for them to be made when the patterns literally do not exist or would not look like the "project" photo if the patterns do exist.
There are also a ton of listings on etsy using those photos and AI generated patterns that are scamming people out of their money. And apparently, etsy isn't doing much about it?? When I go to look for new patterns I see a TOOOOOON of AI generated bs.
Usually I can tell what is AI and isn't but there are sometimes I can't or second guess myself and I'm fairly internet literate. I can't imagine how it is being someone who isn't as chronically online and trying to find a pattern to make something for your grandkid and then get scammed out of your money. It sucks butt.

Love you guys. Another conversation i desperately wanted to be a part of. especially in the beginning when you talk about how scary technology and AI is now, like it’s definitely going to destroy the planet (or finish us off because we’ve been destroying the planet). I think recently they found that it uses insane amounts of water just to use? and technology is making everyone depressed, it’s like a bad drug you don’t get a high from anymore, and at the core i believe it furthers the separation of humans from nature? but we are nature? we’re animals. that’s why there’s a bunch of people now saying they want to live off grid. it’s that primal part of us that wants and NEEDS to reconnect to the earth. technology is also separating us from the community around us while also connecting us to the world, and obviously the progression of that is so fast it’s hard for us to even comprehend.
AND they’re using AI technology in G@za right now as weapons, for targeting people to kill. which is really scary!!! so robots rising up and killing everyone… seems plausible.
ALSO love aliens, and idk if you’ve heard the theory that aliens are us from the future? because the universe is constantly expanding, and light takes a long time to reach earth,, there could be a possibility that future humans figured out how to travel through space to go back in time to reach us? but also given the state of the planet right now who knows if we will live that long to achieve that. i think there’s a better way to explain that theory but i can’t think of it right now.
anyways sorry for this long ass comment but you guys have great conversations and ily

I'm at 25:56 and your take is... not good. With peace and love. You are saying that people can't use free resources because the system is broke? Yikes. Start learning from history, we are constantly expecting technology to kill us, and it never does. Karen often ruins the episodes for me be being just like, too young and inexperienced, but talking with too much dogma.
