Uk laws are dumb as fuck. Provide no evidence yet still provide warrants for assaults they cannot prove and have them stand trial over a case that has insufficient evidence. They did similar shit with Johnny Depp and they made him lose the case and in America he won as he rightly should have through proper evidence and proper witnesses stand trial on their behalf. That's the difference before innocent until proven guilty and guilty until proven innocent.

But what is also incredibly helpful is exposure.
Listen to podcasts, watch TV shows...just get exposed to the language.
Native speakers aren't constantly thinking of rules like "I before E except after C", we just intuitively know how a phrase or sentence is "supposed" to sound.
The more you take in, the more you will subconsciously begin to see connections and ways people speak that aren't necessarily written rules.
@@HarryLLC^^^ factual. As a non-native speaker, after spending years on the internet during lockdown only surrounded by English speakers it really is the best that you can do to become familiar. I, at not point used books or tried to learn the language. It just comes as you become familiar with the language. Just like how children learn to speak, it's the same for adults. Of course this may not apply to all languages. Perhaps languages like Mandarin require books to learn every single way a letter is supposed to be pronounced but i can't say since I've never learnt the language.
