@@paphitisn it did, it’s just that they asked for a specific word in a field for database and it took a while for me to get it right. they also asked us to make a table on powerpoint from an excel document and i literally failed it bc i was left with like 5 minutes😭
@@jnepg4600 Paper 2 is a very packed exam and requires very good time management. Paper 3 is not so intense but requires deeper knowledge so make sure you really understand how to use the functions in excel and make sure you know the meta tags in the header section of a HTML document. Yes you can but you will still need to do some adjustments on the fields as they will not display the entire content. it is a trade of. You either do the sort in the wizard and arrange in the right order in the design view or, you maintain the fields in the the right order and adjust widths and the sorting int eh design. Which ever you prefer.

paper in a few hours! @ 30:15, what if they ask that the data has to be sorted by a certain name, eg- the report must contain data of only the word 'William' in it; it could be 'william shakespere' or 'william randomsurname' too , how do we sort them exclusively?
This helped alot for my upcoming igcse exam in a week!! just a qs tho, they said make sure the report fits in 1 page right? but your report was 3pages long so im confused if when you print it will it be printed on 1 page or 3?
It will be printed on 3 pages but the columns fit on 1 page wide. So, if it says fits on 1 page wide it can be 100 pages long as long as all the columns are on one page wide. If the questions says the report should be 1 page then it should print on 1 page.

If in there are 50 rows (records) in the table and in the price column, only 45 rows (records) have a value in the price column, then Count Records on the price field will return 50, Count Values on the price field will return 45 i hope that makes sense to you now

Absolutely. The relationship is part of the structure of your database, like creating fields, datatypes etc for tables.the relationships connect your tables so it must be done at the desiign level of creating the database.

Send me the time it displays the question and i will clarify. With Access however everything is focused on creating a query and a report from that query. So most likely the filtering would be placed in the query and not a filter on the table. Filters are used mailny in Excel
have just gone back to see the question. It is Question 30 and it starts by asking you to create a report that.... then it lists what the report should include. One of the criteria is that Ready is NO and Sold is YES. As we need to create a report we first need to create a query which the report will be based on. This is why the criteria for Ready and Sold is placed in the query and not in a filter. As i said in my other reply, with databases we rarely filter the data. Instead we create queries.
Not necessary, but for advanced filtering, it is very useful. For the exam, you only need the build function, as demonstrated, and it will create the sql query for you

@@archanaaa2514 Really not sure what you are asking. You say SQL view but what do you mean, Expression Builder, SQL commands in query design view or SQL in VBA? The Design view for queries generates the sql code for you, the expression builder is to create fields generated at run time of the query and SQL in VBA is to construct custom queries. Not sure if that answers your question but in either case it is not related to the IGCSE examination. For the Examination you only need to use the query design view or the Expression builder.

View the part B tutorial on query and reports. It may answer you question. In short though it can be a number of factors, the mail one being how many results your query returned if your query is wrong and it is returning hundreds of results then they will not print on one page. Another popular mistake is that you may ve created the report based on your table instead of your query. It is quite hard to find the root of your issue without access to your database

You say sort and then must contain o assume you mean in the query. So to query with contain willoam you would pit
