@@iftikharahmedkhan8764 you dont have to but you can. If you are going to be using the same format for all bullets in your presentation then it is easier to do in the master slide so you do not have to keep formatting. In an exam you will do this in the master slide if you are asked to.
Sometimes, the question asks to place the line 3cm from top for bottom etc. so how do we know the actual distance, because if you use the ruler, it shows in inches, and if you want to change it google says to go to control panel. So how would we change the unit on the rulers?
If you want to see 3cm you need to change your regional setting of windows so that it displays measurements in Metric instead of US. However, the examiners are not going to measure to see if it is exactly 3cm. 1 inch is 2.5 cm. Just place your line at just over 1 inch and you will be fine. you will only lose marks if you line is more than a cm off and it is visually noticeable.

Practice past papers is the best advice. Spend 2 to 3 minutes at the start to look through the paper and see what it is you will be doing. This will give you a mental image of what you are working towards. If something is taking up time and you are having difficulty jump to the next part. If you have time at the end you can come back to it. If you feel that you run out of time then start with what you are comfortable with, like PowerPoint. Make sure to print what you have done.
Its not a mater of practice (although it is important to practice) it is a matter of learning so how much practice depends on you. (I know grade is counted for all 3 papers, but I'm talking about my feeling about this paper if it was marked separately.) Also your videos made me more confident in my knowledge and it was great because I was calm before and during the exam. (To be fair, I woke up few times during the night thinking about ict, but still I wasn't that anxious, more like curious because it was the first exam in my life.) I did everything, though I may have lost some points because I was not careful enough (I redid the style task in word two times because I didn't do it fully correct on the first try, but then i proceeded to did it correctly, which was kinda funny because it's a really easy task, and somehow firstly i did it incorrectly.) Also i misspeled EVIDENCE0099 in the first task and saw it when i printed out my evidence, that made me laugh and redo it. But I redid everything that wasn't correct and in the end I think I did really good. I have paper 3 in two days, so I'm going to watch your excel and html videos now. Thanks a lot!

@@paphitisn does these video cover all the topic required for paper2 ?
@@underatedgamer9939 Yes. There are always some twists but paper 2 is quite basic in the content. the material covered in the videos should be everything you need, or at least 98% to be safe :)
@@underatedgamer9939 you will also need to know how to generate charts using spread sheet data. it is covered here

where can i get the files?
😅
Sir do you have any tips on how I can manage my time during the test,as I have my igcse paper 2 next week.
I tend to run out of time while doing paper 2
Practice past papers is the best advice. Spend 2 to 3 minutes at the start to look through the paper and see what it is you will be doing. This will give you a mental image of what you are working towards. If something is taking up time and you are having difficulty jump to the next part. If you have time at the end you can come back to it. If you feel that you run out of time then start with what you are comfortable with, like PowerPoint. Make sure to print what you have done.
thanks Nicos !!!
You are welcome
How many times should i practice this i have my exam on oct 9 pls help me
Its not a mater of practice (although it is important to practice) it is a matter of learning so how much practice depends on you. I suggest you watch the tutorial i have in a playlist on solving complete paper 2 which includes PowerPoint here: ua-cam.com/play/PLWeerq9oa1ne5T9Im1ei06yz1tUFqevel.html
i will also be releasing a new tutorial on solving a complete 2023 paper 2 today. It has a good section on PowerPoint
hello sir
im really confused about the question 24 'using file J2121TRI.rtf' where did it came from when you choose the file from outline
The file is given to you in the exam files provided for the exam.
I have my first ict exam in 2 days. (And second in 4.) I hope I will be alright. I know word and access pretty well, I kinda know power point and excel, html and css I don't really know. I just hope I'll be okay.
I have tutorials on all f these, check my playlists. Also i have a playlist where i solve past papers and explain every step, these should really help you:

@@paphitisn thank you!
@@paphitisn I did paper 2 today. It was easy for me! Thank you, your videos really helped me. Especially labels one, as we had it today in access part. Honestly i think i knew most of it and could get an A even without your videos, but they helped me revise and now I think I may have got A* for this paper.
@@paphitisn Also, I saw several people watching your videos before the exam. You're a life saver for all of us :)
@@kitteninforest I am so very happy for you. Well done. i am glad i was able to help you, not so much the required skills but in making you feel more confident. Thankyou for you comment and good luck with paper 3, looking forward to hearing how you do.
sir is there also use of hyperlink in the syllabus?
Yes. You need to know how to add Hyperlinks. You need to be able to add action buttons that will take the user to a slide in the presentation or create hyperlinks that will lead to a URL or link to an email (se the insert ribbon to add links). Also be able to add Alternative text to images and screen tips.
In the word component you need to be able to add bookmarks and Hyperlinks
@@paphitisn Thanks sir. You have been very helpfull.
@@paphitisn hello! how will we be required to add screenshots for evidence of action buttons, hyperlinks and alternative text? also, what are screen tips? you've been really helpful thank you :)
@@raniariffat8094 you take a screen shot of the dialogue box of the link were you enter the email and subject. Screen tips are tips that pop up to give info to the user when they place their mouse over an object. I have just finished a tutorial on a complete paper 2 (2023 paper) which includes providing screen shots for evidence of links. Will post it tomorrow at some point. Stay tuned.
