It's funny I was actually jamming along right now to some Alice in Chains Man In The Box, after all these years I realize I've been playing it wrong because it just didn't sound right to the recording. And of course I have to come to your videos to make sure that I'm going to play it correctly.. thanks again!!
Hey man! I love how detailed your tutorials are! I hope you get around to doing Love, Hate, Love’s solo at some point! Can’t find any tutorials for it! Thanks for your videos!
Well it looks very interesting mate. You play it little different than I have lerned And Aš this Is my favorit sólo od all time I need to check it properly to see Whats thé better way. Anyway thanks a lot fór doing this.
This is one my favorite solos and you did a excellent job teaching it . I have a fender 20 champion amp and it has the built in wah effect . I’m guessing the part that you call tricky with the pull offs . Isn’t going to sound the same as yours ? I’m doing the tab and pull offs right .. it just sounds little different.
Thanks Earl! I think an auto wah may act like a wah thats being rocked backwards and forwards? If so it will sound a bit different as Jerry uses it more as a kind of filter so it’s just on but he’s not doing much else with it. Either way tho played without a wah it’ll still sound awesome mate!
Thank for fast response. The auto wah on my amp has a knob from 1-10 where you can set the intensity of the wah. I remember the first time I saw the video to man in a box in the early 90s on headbangers ball and thinking how cool it was . I like Jerry’s solos especially from first two albums because they have so much feeling to them . I hope you cover “. Them bones “ solo too. It’s probably my second favorite solo . Thanks again
Awesome video man! Really well done. Alice is my favorite band. Learning These solos to expand my blues arsenal. Is this solo on the same level as them bones? That's what I'm finishing now.
Man cantrell is just the best metal/grunge guitarist so simple but legendary

Cheers mate! Yea I think so, if anything this one may be a little trickier than Them Bones, nail this and you'll be fine with the other!

Thanks a lot brother 🙏
Besides BB King, Which Blues players would you suggest learning?

The amount of Led Zeppelin in that solo is hilarious. God I love AIC.
