I would never rely solely on the judgments of those who receive their items for review free of charge, since even the best of them seem to miss or overlook issues that paying customers subsequently have problems with. Currently, I have a GoPro 10 and a DJI Osmo Action 4 and I bought the latter having found GoPros prone to overheating and freezing up. The Action 4 is excellent. There is now an Action 5 Pro, but I'm not convinced, despite improvements in low light capabilities, that it appears (from the YT reviews) to render all-round better picture quality. So I won't be upgrading just yet until I see if a subsequent firmware upgrade remedies that.
I agree i have learnt over the years these dummy’s don’t give an honest review , I have bought motorbikes before with blindingly obvious issues which “influencers” have negated to mention and its cost me big time. Good luck the new camera , looking forward to seeing new footage , I don’t do vlogging I don’t have enough time to dedicate to a) doing it and b)editing it l. But no I repel them and take little influence from them.
For me, i watch very many reviews and form my own opinion on stuff as they produce a pattern. I have a insta 360 and love it for my very few subjective needs and its brilliant for other than motorcycle filming. For video blog for you, i would go for the DJI 400. Also, why don’t you wait for the sales or Amazon huge sale as they are bound to be reduced…👌
Influencers have their place but take what they say with a pinch of salt. In my eyes DJI Action 4 is a cracking camera at a cracking price. Unlike GoPro, they work without fail and produce excellent results. I look forward to seeing what you end up with.

an excellent idea. I believe Amazon are having a sale in October, so I will probably but it then.

I have set myself a deadline to buy one, so sometime mid-October all will be revealed.
