I'm of the mind that each ring of Hell has nine rings. The inner rings are smaller, consisting of cities and towns while the outer rings are more widely spread out wilderness. Viv did say that Hell has multiple biomes, so I could see each ring having that division between the civilized demons and the more bestial, almost Lovecraftian ones.

@@Infamous_Val_05 If a human were able to travel to Hell through the portal spell, what's to say that sinners can't do similarly to get to a different ring? The elevator to the other rings would likely have a one-way magical screen in the Pride ring that prevents sinners from getting in; but the portals made through the grimoire may bypass the aforementioned restrictions.
I have a few things to say. The elevator might be more like a teleporter, able to transfer you to a different ring. But we don't know what ring Stolas is in, what if he is in a different circle. The IMP sky is slightly different than Pentagram city. So what if Pentagram city is in the center and the other rings get lighter in shade as they move out.
I feel like it’s clear that Stolas lives in the pride ring. The reason I say this is because it appears that cars can’t be transported across different rings (at least not through the elevator). So when we see Blitz dropping Stolas off at his house using his van, it’s suggested that Stolas accompanied Blitz back to the elevator (as opposed to teleporting back home by himself) and then back to Blitz’s car, where Blitz is suggested to have driven home after dropping Stolas off.
@@jalenhumphry5297 Yeah but in a show where gold and white are already shown to be heavily associated colors with the angel theme, it wouldn't make sense to include it there unless there was an angelic connection or reference of some kind.
random thought: what if each circle's number is dictated by how many live in the circle like Pentagram city is the 1st circle because it has the largest population with Imp city being the runner up and so on.
or maybe vice versa: the most people live in the 1st circle and pentagram city because it's in the middle, it's the center of the action. imp city, in the 2nd ring, has a large population too but not as large as pentagram city, etc.?
Damn when you break it all down there's a lot of factors to add into that even vivzie hasn't brought into the light where all speculating but we're all eagerly waiting for everything to come out bit by bit
We have seen blitz, Moxxie and even loona have character development we haven’t seen anything with Millie. I really hope we see some development regarding her character
It's pretty confusing since circle 9 in hell is meant to be a frozen wasteland, or the building he was seen in in Hazbin Hotel was some sort of apartment or holiday home. I REALLY hope the circles are close to canon to Dante's Inferno, like in geography and whatever, i would LOVE to see what The river styx, the City of Dis (A city that reaches from Circle 6 - 9) and more.
small fact: Verosika has 'Blitzy' tattooed on her arm in the picture on Blitz's phone. She was probably allowed to call him that at the time of their relationship, and Blitz was upset at Stolas referring to him the same way because it reminded him of the relationship he had with Verosika, and the way he treated her (judging by her solo in episode 7).
I think one great way to further flesh out Hell, is to have a crossover with Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. How to do this? There's a theory that Moxxie was raised by overlords with the phrase "I was dreaming my parents were being murdered, but now I'd like to go back to that dream." being the base for that theory. It makes sense; Mox is well spoken, dresses nice, doesn't seem to be FROM wrath in the sense that sure you could be BORN from a place, but be RAISED in another. He coulda been BORN in Wrath, but RAISED in Pride. The main theory among the fanbase that people have RUN with and I quite like is that Moxxie was raised by none other than Alastor The Radio Demon himself. The points to the theory include: both like music, both don't like to swear, both are very gentlemanly, and Alastor was a hunter as a human, he'd be the one to teach Moxxxie all about weapons which would be why he's the weapons expert of IMP. I really REALLY like this theory. I feel like even though he's a cannibalistic demon overlord with a penchant for murder and mayhem for entertainment, I think he'd have some standards-leaving a baby out to die after his parents were executed seems a bit cold even for him. Al did grow up and live during the Great Depression after all; he might have joked about "ohhhh so many orphans" but I think that'd leave a mark on him. And one GREAT way to effortlessly merge the shows together, is to make that connection-that Moxxie is Alastor's adopted son. Another great way to do this, is have Striker still be at large with that carmine crafted blessing tipped rifle. It would be good intrigue for HH, and add to the mystery of that show as well.
@@NJ-tm1vn yes his BIOLOGICAL father would be an imp, BUT CONSIDERING he literally said "dreaming about my parents being murdered" that means they are dead. Not around anymore. Yet Mox is still alive. So betting he was found by an overlord and raised.
Interesting thought, but unfortunately Vivziepop already confirmed that Hazbin and Helluva will not have a crossover in any form. Likely due to legal and creative reasons.
maybe the 7 circles are horizontally stacked on top of each other, like you said, and the 9 circles are vertically parallel on each ring. like say pentagram city obviously is in the middle of pride and Imp city around it but then perhaps there are cities directly under them with the same borders, just a circle down.
Theory: I believe Valentino made a contract with Asmodeus to provide the pornographic content to the pride ring to be consumed by earth-born sinners. It would basically be an outsourced job. Asmodeus would be the general owner of all sexual content while Valentino would be in charge of the branch in the pride ring. Obviously most of the profits would go to Asmodeus for being the provider.
I feel like most of us forget that HH is a pilot, it's not exactly what the show will be like. whenever the series does premier it'll likely have Changed to 7 rings
made the community post yesterday, and then the video is out within the next 24 hours, you guys work FAST!! 😂 i love it thank you for the constant HH/HB content ❤️
Plot twist: other gods (Egyptian, Greek, Nordic) also exist in this universe, and the Creator of Lucifer and the other angels is God Most High. Vivzie said she was inspired by many religions and mythologies.
It seems more like Helluva Boss will be exploring the 7 rings since the imps can travel through them and have the gangs stories told there. Whilst Vaggie, Alastor and Angel Dust that are sinners can't traverse through the 7 rings, they need a different place for adventures and stories to happen so there's the 9 circles
As far as the rings go, I believe that they are simply stacked onto of each other in a dimensional sense. Let's say that the rings of fell are separated by space, this could make sense why you can't see the one above you, as of each one exists on a different plane. I like to think the elevator is an invention made to make use of a dimensional crack that exist in all the rings.
Funny how the Sloth ring is colored pink because In SpongeBob SquarePants, seven of the main characters are based on the seven deadly sins and Sloth is Patrick
I like the idea that the sky gets paler the further away from the center of a ring you get. The clubs in Lust, Imp city, and Pentagram city are all near the center, making the sky very dark, and Loo loo land, Milly’s parents’ farm, and Stolas’s palace are more on the outskirts. It makes sense location wise as well.
Well, according to Dante's concept of Hell there are 9 circles, but the counting starts with limbo being the first one; "selva" (the forest), the entrance and the ring right before the Acheron river are not counted
@@CartoonUniverse That is correct. The pre-entrance to Hell is not a Circle in the Inferno. It's the Vestibule of the Futile where those angels who took neither side during the War In Heaven are chased forever by wasps and hornets as they themselves chase a banner. What we CAN remove from Dante's Inferno would be circle 6, Heresy, something he added because he was, of course, a devoute Catholic. Take that and Limbo away and we're left with just the seven deadly sins.
@@FoxyDean That is not actually true. The nine circles of hell in Dante’s Inferno are limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery. Out of these, only lust, gluttony, greed and wrath are counted as part of the seven deadly sins. The seven deadly sins are, however, the names of the seven terraces of Purgatory in Dante’s Purgatorio.
I actually have a reason for not being subscribed. I was subscribed some time ago but then I noticed that the thumbnails and titels of the videos where often spoilering me for episodes of shows I haven't seen yet. So I unsubscribed to not being spoiled by my home feed and if I now I am up to date with the episodes of the shows I care about then I check out if there is a new theory/ analize video. So it has nothing to do with me not appreciating your work or not liking your channel, its just my own way I prevent myself from being spoiled without giving you bullcrap :D But I have a slight feedback for this kind of video. I find it hard to follow you (as a not native) without visual bullet points or lists about the rings/ circles. So maybe you could add more visual guidance to the things you say for the people that have a harder time following :)
Makes sense, I originally intended to include that in this, but I had a bit of a rough week. ER twice, and internal bleeding. when ti came time to do this video I tried to keep it as simple as possible so I could focus on getting back to resting. I will try to include a graphic in the next video where the subject comes up. I was thinking of doing little youtube shorts about topics i can cover fast, so that might be a good idea.
I feel like the circles are vertical, and the rings are like spikes that go through every ring. So every circle has all nine rings, and every ring is connected to every circle.
Omg- the creepiest thing about this video, is at the end, where the entire screen goes black, but his animated mouth stays as the only smiling with everything around it being black........ *legit gave me chills*
There is another interpretation for 7/9. First we see a moon in the series and send there appears to be a way for angels to enter hell. Recon the first two of 9 are limbo and the realm of non believers
Its interesting to me that Lucifer, Satan, and Beelzebub are all treated as separate entities, even though, depending on your interpretation, they can all be seen as names for the same being; similar to how Jehova and YHWH (Yahweh) refer to the same God. Im a little surprised that Viv didnt then use another name like Scratch for another demon prince.
That is a really bad example, as YHWH and Jehova are just different pronunciations of the same word, whereas Lucifer, Satan abd Beelezebub all have unique origins. They are really only conflating as being the same person in modern culture by people who didn't really grow up with the distinction.
@@CartoonUniverse both names for God are used in teachings in various christian churches in recent times, even if they are permutations of the same name. But nitpicking over that is beside the point -- which was to use another name associated with Satan/ "the devil" -- which even some brief searching at the moment now, shows me that there is disagreement out there on which names refer to which entity; which is why i said "depending on your enterpretation" in my initial post. Not all demons and names of demons even biblically are associated with this figure, but several are; again, depending on one's interpretation. Unfortunately, many finer points of biblical translation are often points of contention even among bible scholars, theologians, and historians.
Loona can actually be spotted in Hazbin, or at least it's a hell hound who looks strikingly similar to her. I believe it's somewhere around 1:36 in the music video for Charlie's song
I think how the rings are stack is that each ring has a hole in it leading to the ring below it. Resembling an actual ring that you would wear. The pride ring is the biggest ring, the hole in that ring leads to the second largest ring which is wrath. Then so on and so on. Which is why you can't see the ring above each rings sky but can see stars instead. Simular to the illustration in dantes inferno
My guess is that Vivziepop originally wanted to make it 9 circles, but then she realized some of the circles weren't that easily designable (there are some circles dedicated to sins that would have only made sense to a medieval audience, like simony or usury, which would be difficult to make into interesting landscapes for an animated comedy), and so now she's trying to retcon it into being 7 rings. Which I think is for the better. The 7 deadly sins are a much more straightforward and identifiable depiction of hell than what Dante wrote.
@@Infamous_Val_05 Is that the most recent episode? If so, then I retract what I said, but then in that case her cosmology makes no sense. After all, the 7 deadly sins have a ton of overlap with the 9 circles as described in Dante's Inferno.
I personally see the circles somewhat like states or regions, with every ring having it's own circles, and imp city being like the towns and cities in those regions
If this take on Hell is influenced by Dante’s Inferno, I wonder if Heaven will be modeled after the Nine Spheres seen in “Paradiso”. It could explain why Heaven appears as a planet in Hell’s sky.
Ok so.. if i understood it correctly it should be like this: so the rings are stacked on top of each other like a cake. Then every ring, or cake layer has 9 circles. The smallest cake (1st circle) is in the middle, surrounded by the 2nd circle and so on. THEN the ring under pride ALSO has 9 circles. Its the same like pride but its just aaaaaall stacked on top like a cake. Now im hungry. (I tried to make a lil' image of what i'm imagining rn) (4.(3.(2.(Pride ring) circle 2.) 3.)4.) (4.(3.(2.Wrath ring) 2.) 3.)4.) (4.(3.(2.(Gluttony) 2.) 3.) 4.)
3:15 here I must make a clarification, as a compatriot of Dante Alighieri the circle structure of hell was described in the "Divina Commedia", The Inferno part is only described in the first "34 Canti" then we have "Purgatorio", 33 canti, and "Paradiso" with also 33 canti. Just so you know.
It seems unlikely that the 9 circles are the same as in Inferno, for the second circle is the Sin of Lust which is now one of the 7 rings, I guess we shall see what fits each ring and circle and how they are put together
I feel like if the rings are on top of each other, the circles could go through all rings, with the innermost circle being the one the princes / ruling class reside in with living situations getting worse / more disorderly the further out you get, the 9th ring being unkept wilderness...
Quick theory: Most sinners 'spawn' in the first circle after their death, when enough of with a similar lifestyle or from a similar time gather they push out the older ones to the second circle, those then push the people that were their earlier out to the third circle, all the way into circle number nine where i would imagine the extermination would be the worst
I noticed the two Jester demons at Ozzie had anger on their face when stolas got called out opposed to everyone else who just laughed perhaps they were Royalty
The court jester was a highly sought after job in medieval times as it allowed people who were otherwise commoners to get close to and entertain royalty.
Vivzie has stated that lucifer runs hell like a circus and its clear from the imagery throughout the show plus mammon is the prince of greed and he's a Jester so its safe to say its an even more respected position in hell
We'll just have to wait till Hazbin Hotel shows more Rings of Hell or in Helluva Boss season 2 if Vivziepop announce a second season for Helluva Boss. I do hope Octavia is ok, if she, Stolas, or IMP gang find's out about Stella's action's she's gonna be in BIG Trouble. Plus if Stella ever put Via in danger with hiring assassins to kill Stolas she's gonna regret the day she messed with the Goetia Princes of Hell. I hope ep 8 part 2 has a happy ending.
I kinda do not understand why sinners can only be at Pride. Cause humans commit MANY sins not just pride. Angel dust has clearly committed the sin of Lust its kind of ...senseless that he is in the pride ring. I could only guess that they got different areas in pentagran city that represent these sins but then it just makes no sense cause the 7 rings already exist so...
Pride is Lucifer Envy is Leviathan Wrath is Satan Lust is Asmodeus Greed is Mammon Gluttony is Beelzebub Sloth is Belphegor Maybe it was Lucifer's serpent that tempted Eve in the garden. So he's in charge of the sinners. 😂
I can see why people cab get confused. Came back and realized I goofed in my comment. Pride ring has 9 circles (zones) in it and the whole thing sits on a stack of other rings one for each Sin Prince/Princess
I think that the 4th circle of hell had already been discussed. during one of vivzipop's livestreams, she mentions an part of hell exclusive to sinners from Canada, possibly called "heck"
Y’know, the subject of seven rings of hell reserved for the seven deadly sins along with nine circles of hell reminds me of the first time I thought about it when I got into Dante’s Inferno both the game and the poem, about nine years ago.
I feel like the 9 Circles are unique to the Pride Ring and likely exist down to the large sinner population. You're dealing with a whole other kind of demon and a lot of them in just one circle, you probably need a more complex political geography as opposed to the other 6 rings.
Wouldn’t it make more sense if the order of rings was 1 Pride 2 Greed 3 Lust 4 Envy 5 Gluttony 6 Wrath 7 Sloth We know that in the elevator scene they are in Greed, since that’s the one missing from the elevator schedule. She schedule also shows pride being directly above greed and directly under greed Lust. When in the versocia episode Blitz mentioned the next ocean is 3 rings down (whilst in pride) if there is an ocean ring it would make most sense that that the Demon Prince of that one is Leviathan, who according to Thomas Aquinas is the lord of Envy, making the ocean ring Envy. That would establish the order as Pride, Greed, Lust, Envy. Then we’re left with Gluttony, Wrath and Sloth. I wouldn’t know where to place this but it at least confirms Wrath is not the second ring.
the order of the rings are based on rainbow colors as we saw it in the elevator: Pride: Red Wrath: Orange Gluttony: Yellow Greed: Green Lust: Blue Envy: Purple Sloth: Pink
If you ask why gluttony is yellow it is because it is the only ring that cannot be seen and the only color that is missing is yellow, which makes sense if you start to think
@Scorpio They are in the ring of pride, in circle 2, a ring (country) can have several circles (cities) so the elevator said "heading to the ring of pride" (the main circle), we already saw the order (canonical) of the rings, that people like you do not want to accept it is not our problem
Is it possible that if someone who died and got sent to hell given a chance to redeem themselves so they could go to heaven and that if they died in hell they were reborn as the species represented by their sin. But since no one wanted to redeem themselves and hell became more overrun the exorcists of heaven were made to "cleanse" hell every year. Idk just a thought.
I wouldn't say that elevator 666 going between the rings necessarily disproves the idea of the rings being metaphysically stacked, since it could just be a metaphysical elevator or just utilise "magic" in some way as opposed to being exactly like a traditionally functioning Earth elevator
I like to think that the 9 circles are a way of dividing specifically the Pride Ring so that the earthborn sinners have a means of navigation, since they can't go to the other rings
4:56 Technically speaking the term prince or princess doesn't have to do anything with the person being male female or somewhere in between. Take Azura from the elder scrolls franchise. She is the Deadric Prince of dusk and Dawn. She is considered a prince even though she is female. The Deadric Prince's are technically genderless. She is referred to as a prince because Deadric Prince is one of multiple times mortals gave the Daedra. Being a prince of one of the rings hell could be one of multiple titles.
One thing I want to understand, is why there can be extremely powerful sinners that can rival some of the genuine demons. Like, borderline demon lord status, yet they're still in the pride ring.
@@CartoonUniverse That'd be a cool video to discuss! Why common sinners can be stronger than most higher ranking demons, yet be stuck in the pride ring.
Maybe the 9 circles are all within the Pride Ring, since it's where the sinners are, and they end up in certain circles depending on their sins. Rather than stacked, they're laid out as different areas or regions as you said.
Now that I think about it more I feel like the circles in the pride ring make a lot of sense. Everywhere else has natural citizens that can move to whatever ring suits them best, but the sinners are trapped at the top, and with how varied humans can be it only makes sense that they would create their own circles (Rings) that fit their own personal tastes.
It could be that the Pride ring Is split into two circles, where the sinners live, and where the demon royalty live. Like the rings of Ba Sing Sei in Avatar.
It's really interesting to hear that at least some of Helluva Boss' storylines were originally going to be in Hazbin... I wonder how many of the characters we know and love today would actually exist if the shows weren't separated?
I would just like to point out, in the beginning of episode 3, Blitzo does point out that the nearest ocean was 3 rings down when insulting Verosika, so maybe the gluttony ring has an ocean, and maybe that's where all the fish demon things come from? Because I saw at least 1 shark looking demon in episode 7.
I wouldn't really say they've done that bad a job with Millie and Luna. They mightn't have whole episodes based on them but they did a good job for only 1 season of setting up an idea who they are and giving them their own appeal. Also its good story telling not to blow all mysteries about the characters in one go. . Given the Overlord system I'm not sure outside the first couple if the outer rings aren't actually part of a ring rather than the full ring. It would just be utterly unmanageable for anybody Ring 3 and out. Like Inner Ring lacks an Overlord since its Lucifer's realm. Ring 2 has 2 divisions and Overlords. Ring 3(technically 4 if 2 has 2) has 3 divisions and Overlords, and Ring 4 (technically 6) has 4 divisions and Overlords.
Theory; Each ring is talking about the cities in hell. 9 cities for each layer. Meaning "Imp 2nd circle" just means its in the 2nd bigest city in the pride ring.
When I imagined how the rings worked, I thought that the sky of a ring was just below the top's ring ground. Like dig deep enough through Pride, you'll end up falling into Wrath- kind of thing. It sounds stupid but it made sense to me.
In order for every circle of hell to have a sky, you dont need a seperate world for each one, they could still be above eachother like in dantes inferno. Concentric circles stretching down in a conical shape. The color of the skies could be because of air density, angle of light, different gases etc. (or magic)
Which circle of hell is your favorite? Mine is the fourth circle.

My question is why does the elevator have an angelic theme? The clock looks like a biblical angel, it's all gold and white and shiny?
Symbolism relating to an angel falling into hell like Satan? Idk
I thought it was designed by Lucifer since he is the king of hell and he was an angel before falling.
Gold and white doesn't necessarily mean it's supposed to be angelic.
@@jalenhumphry5297 Yeah but in a show where gold and white are already shown to be heavily associated colors with the angel theme, it wouldn't make sense to include it there unless there was an angelic connection or reference of some kind.
maybe it was originally built by angels to help with the purges and the demons took it over?
random thought: what if each circle's number is dictated by how many live in the circle like Pentagram city is the 1st circle because it has the largest population with Imp city being the runner up and so on.
or maybe vice versa: the most people live in the 1st circle and pentagram city because it's in the middle, it's the center of the action. imp city, in the 2nd ring, has a large population too but not as large as pentagram city, etc.?
I think the ‘Circles’ referenced on the “Welcome to Imp City” sign from HB Ep. 7 are suburbs or satellite cities of Pentagram City.

The lore fo Dante’s Inferno states that Lucifer would be located in the 9th circle - meaning Imp city is FAAAAAAR away from his castle.
O h .
In my opinion, the last and nine circle in the Pride Ring would be Pandemonium (the capital of Hell)
@@Mirartium736 What if that is what Pentagram City is supposed to be?
Moxxie has a father Revealed in patron he's an imp
@@NJ-tm1vn yes his BIOLOGICAL father would be an imp, BUT CONSIDERING he literally said "dreaming about my parents being murdered" that means they are dead. Not around anymore. Yet Mox is still alive. So betting he was found by an overlord and raised.
@@TheRibottoStudios Sometimes you dream things that are not true.
Are all your dreams always realistic?
@@TheRibottoStudios Its just a dream it doesn't mean it actually happened I think it just means he wishes they were murdered
Theory:
I believe Valentino made a contract with Asmodeus to provide the pornographic content to the pride ring to be consumed by earth-born sinners. It would basically be an outsourced job. Asmodeus would be the general owner of all sexual content while Valentino would be in charge of the branch in the pride ring. Obviously most of the profits would go to Asmodeus for being the provider.

Listening to other people talk about Hazbin Hotel or Helluvaboss is just so therapeutic to me 🥲 I love watching his videos
Each Ring is like a different state. With each Ring seperated into circles like how states are separated into counties as far as I could tell.
It makes sense location wise as well.
in the original inferno of dante there are 9 circles but the first two are the entrance and the purgatory, so practically there are only 7.
Are you sure? From what I've read the first ring is limbo, as I described here, but the second ring is Lust. Not sure what you are talking about.
@@CartoonUniverse They just got confused with the vestibule
@@FoxyDean That is not actually true. The nine circles of hell in Dante’s Inferno are limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, wrath, heresy, violence, fraud and treachery. Out of these, only lust, gluttony, greed and wrath are counted as part of the seven deadly sins. The seven deadly sins are, however, the names of the seven terraces of Purgatory in Dante’s Purgatorio.

There is another interpretation for 7/9. First we see a moon in the series and send there appears to be a way for angels to enter hell. Recon the first two of 9 are limbo and the realm of non believers
The 7 rings and 7/9 circles don't match 100% though, not sure there's an envy circle and pride circle in Dante's Inferno
@@lartts7483 Yeah. Pride, sloth and envy are not a part of the nine circles of Inferno, only the seven deadly sins
Jehova and Yahweh are not 2 different names for the same entity; both are the same name - Jehova is just the latinezed version of Yahweh.
The jester you pointed out from episode 7 shares several features with Striker. Could striker be a half breed, is that even possible
What features?
@@Infamous_Val_05 eye's, teeth spike layout. pretty sure there's more but I can't remember off the top of my head
Believe it or not, I needed this info. Thanks, mate.
But the circles are also still canon, the sign in the beggining of the episode says "second circle"
She changed 9 circles to 7 rings to fit the 7 deadly sins/princes
@@lartts7483 the 9 circles still exist
@@Infamous_Val_05 Which episode?
@@Infamous_Val_05 Is that the most recent episode? If so, then I retract what I said, but then in that case her cosmology makes no sense. After all, the 7 deadly sins have a ton of overlap with the 9 circles as described in Dante's Inferno.
I personally see the circles somewhat like states or regions, with every ring having it's own circles, and imp city being like the towns and cities in those regions
"nine circles of hell"
as a geometry dash player, i can resonate with that statement.
It would be really cool that if in this universe Freddie Mercury was a sinner and went down to serve as Beelzabub's right hand man
If this take on Hell is influenced by Dante’s Inferno, I wonder if Heaven will be modeled after the Nine Spheres seen in “Paradiso”. It could explain why Heaven appears as a planet in Hell’s sky.
According to Vivziepop, Heaven will not be an inversion of hell, so i dont think so.
@@CartoonUniverse So it'll be exactly like it then? Or that it'll be its own thing?
Ok so.. if i understood it correctly it should be like this: so the rings are stacked on top of each other like a cake.
(I tried to make a lil' image of what i'm imagining rn)
(4.(3.(2.(Pride ring) circle 2.) 3.)4.)
(4.(3.(2.Wrath ring) 2.) 3.)4.)
(4.(3.(2.(Gluttony) 2.) 3.) 4.)
Very good explanation,i was confused about that too.
We also have to keep in mind that things said in the Hazbin Hotel pilot itself could very well have been changed since Helluva Boss ep 1(and so on)
like what?
because episode 7 confirmed that the circles are canon...
If the sloth sky is pink then that's where stolas lives in! Remember his place has a pink sky
No, it's red and he lives in the Pride ring.
Pilots can change
It seems unlikely that the 9 circles are the same as in Inferno, for the second circle is the Sin of Lust which is now one of the 7 rings, I guess we shall see what fits each ring and circle and how they are put together
I really like the effort and research you put in your videos, keep up the good work! I really enjoy your vids!
Ohhhh... That makes sense. Thanks for explaning

Pride is Lucifer
Envy is Leviathan
Wrath is Satan
Lust is Asmodeus
Greed is Mammon
Gluttony is Beelzebub
Sloth is Belphegor
Maybe it was Lucifer's serpent that tempted Eve in the garden. So he's in charge of the sinners. 😂
I think the nine circles might be rankings of hell, with 1 being the lowest and 9 being the highest, similar to the IceWing rankings in the WoF series
Really?
Y’know, the subject of seven rings of hell reserved for the seven deadly sins along with nine circles of hell reminds me of the first time I thought about it when I got into Dante’s Inferno both the game and the poem, about nine years ago.
rings as continents doesn't make much sense, imp city is way too close to pentagram city for that to be the case.
Can you imagine Heaven this way, with seven heavenly virtues to nine spheres?
Maybe it's like a North and South America type deal where the two continents are right next to each other?
I feel like the 9 Circles are unique to the Pride Ring and likely exist down to the large sinner population. You're dealing with a whole other kind of demon and a lot of them in just one circle, you probably need a more complex political geography as opposed to the other 6 rings.
Yeah, like Cannibal Down, Doomday District, Pentagram City.
I’m kinda surprised that Pride’s capital is not called Pandemonium...
Wouldn’t it make more sense if the order of rings was
1 Pride
2 Greed
3 Lust
4 Envy
5 Gluttony
6 Wrath
7 Sloth
We know that in the elevator scene they are in Greed, since that’s the one missing from the elevator schedule.
They weren't in greed. They were in Pride cuz that is where they live. It even says on the sign that its a direct shot from pride to lust.
the order of the rings are based on rainbow colors as we saw it in the elevator:
Pride: Red
Wrath: Orange
Gluttony: Yellow
Greed: Green
Lust: Blue
Envy: Purple
Sloth: Pink
If you ask why gluttony is yellow it is because it is the only ring that cannot be seen and the only color that is missing is yellow, which makes sense if you start to think
Sorry, but one of the screens in that scene show the exact order of the rings
@Scorpio They are in the ring of pride, in circle 2, a ring (country) can have several circles (cities) so the elevator said "heading to the ring of pride" (the main circle), we already saw the order (canonical) of the rings, that people like you do not want to accept it is not our problem
Who calls Dante's Inferno just, "Inferno?" It's like A Tribe Called Quest, you say the whole thing.
5:48 I already know the powerscalers are finna have a field day
Is it possible that if someone who died and got sent to hell given a chance to redeem themselves so they could go to heaven and that if they died in hell they were reborn as the species represented by their sin.
4:56
Technically speaking the term prince or princess doesn't have to do anything with the person being male female or somewhere in between.
Depends on the setting.
Everyone assumed fizz was the representative of greed because fizz is a jester and greeds prince is supposedly depicted as a jester
Waiting for Mammon to create his own Hazbin Hotel (copy/parody for cheap money of course) XD
I find it interesting that hell’s sky order is an inverted order of shakra colors
One thing I want to understand, is why there can be extremely powerful sinners that can rival some of the genuine demons. Like, borderline demon lord status, yet they're still in the pride ring.
they deal in souls. more souls, more power.
@@CartoonUniverse That'd be a cool video to discuss! Why common sinners can be stronger than most higher ranking demons, yet be stuck in the pride ring.
@@CrusadingJello Because they can't exist outside of there
Maybe the 9 circles are all within the Pride Ring, since it's where the sinners are, and they end up in certain circles depending on their sins. Rather than stacked, they're laid out as different areas or regions as you said.
Luna was in the one of the scenes during Charlie’s second about the hotel too.
Maybe Pride Ring is split into: Main Pride Circle and Vanity Circle

It's really interesting to hear that at least some of Helluva Boss' storylines were originally going to be in Hazbin... I wonder how many of the characters we know and love today would actually exist if the shows weren't separated?
That ending scared the crap out of me, why was your mouth just floating in the void smiling?
Ring 3(technically 4 if 2 has 2) has 3 divisions and Overlords, and Ring 4 (technically 6) has 4 divisions and Overlords.
i might be deff but i think you forgot Beelzebub the prince of gluttony

Doesn't sound stupid to me.
In order for every circle of hell to have a sky, you dont need a seperate world for each one, they could still be above eachother like in dantes inferno. Concentric circles stretching down in a conical shape. The color of the skies could be because of air density, angle of light, different gases etc. (or magic)
