This felt the most “oh ok it’s back to being itself again” moment since series 12 when it entered special hell and completed the RTD David Tennent generation era shift Special loop of terror. Why did we have like 3 of years of nothing but doctor who specials????
No particular reason, just timing for the 60th, the pandemic limiting Chibnall's plans, the exchange of showrunner, the need for the show to change from what they were doing during Chibnall's run.
At first, I thought by “new Doctor Who”, he meant from Eccleston onwards lol
I’m surprised you like it so much yet still sort of didn’t like that it wasn’t explained, since it really seems like the entire point of the episode is that things just get more and more confusing
the entire time and until it isn’t explained at the end at all. I mean, the old woman turning out to be Ruby isn’t an explanation of the mystery in any way. It literally just adds to the mystery and the “what is going on?” factor.
I felt sorry for ruby but it was so good as an doctor who episode ❤
Very good I missed ncuti though xx😢
I loved the episode and I love how were left unknown. We don’t need to know everything and I love the mystery. Millie acting was phenomenal and this is a 10 for me. I just rewatched it and still an awesome watch 2nd time.
I have really hated the Gatwa episodes so far. But he was barely in this one. And I really enjoyed it.
Ncuti is amazing as the doctor very amazing
I love ncuti he rocks xx🎉🎉
I think ncuti gatwa is going to be a great doctor
This was the worst episode I've watched since Timeless Child.
Why did you skip the much worse episodes in between?
collect your cheque from Disney
Ah yes, anyone who likes something you don't like must automatically be getting paid to like that thing.
in my opinion this ep is dumb entire ep is a paradox as non of the even happened if old ruby prevented young ruby from letting the doctor destroy the so called circle so the entire story basically never happened!. lets not forget all the dumb decisions ruby made aswell as some other characters made during this episode worst writing RTD ever did to date i think worse then space babies
Very hot take. Just because it never happened doesn’t mean it pointless. What dumb decision did you think she did? I’m intrigued to see what people thought who didn’t like it as I absolutely loved it and it’s basically perfect for me (high praise ik lol)
A bit like 'Turn Left'
@AuroraButterflyx ruby basically asked her mum to go to the old lady even tho show saw the past 2 people who went to her was screaming in terror such as dumb series.
Aswell as it was clear the old Ruby keeps moving away when ruby looks away so keep an eye on her and move closer to take look aswell.
@AuroraButterflyx and yes what happened in this episode is entirely pointless if the old ruby prevented the doctor making another clumsy mistake because then ruby wouldn't be the reason to stop the corrupt running to be PM
@@DeusLucifer well she didn’t knew at the time the full extent of her messing with the women, so it’s why Ruby did it. While sure it might be pointless episode I still love the episode, even if it doesn’t really affect the overall plot or series arc.
