AMERICAN FICTION is Cord Jefferson's hilarious directorial debut, which confronts our culture’s obsession with reducing people to outrageous stereotypes. A great scene from a great film, loved all the scenes with Wright and Ortiz. Wright's internal fight with the hatred for the stereotype and the need to play the part, just genius writing by Jefferson. This was a great film with great acting and writing.
