It’s very wonderful what you are doing as a family. I homeschooled/ homesteaded with my five children, here in Ventura County, California. A lot of work and good times. We had dozens of chickens, ducks, geese, bunnies, horses, dairy goats, pot bellied pigs; 40 fruit trees, a huge garden. We drank all our own milk, made all of our jams and many meals were exclusively from what we raised and had grown. The kids were into various projects, newsletters, (before computer days) and nature museums in the barn garage. They are all grown now, 26-40 yrs old and all great kids with very interesting minds! 💕 So far, we’ve added 4 grand babies and some spouses to the tribe! Thanks for all the warm memories and your videos bring a huge, warm smile to my heart. Your parents ROCK!
The mother rabbit most like ate her babies because she lacks protein after birth, she may not off eaten the afterbirth or she could just be lacking protein. While she is pregnant next time increase her protein and see if that helps. Love the music you are adding to the videos. I grew up eating on calico plates and dishes so every time I see yours it brings back memories. I always enjoy your family and so happy when you include a little about everyone. Yes, maybe something missing in the rabbits diet. Do they have access to greens all the time. Might be stressful for them in such small cages as they can't behave in a natural way. In NZ we have to keep them in an outdoor area like their natural habitat.
Great job all of you are doing...your mom is a perfect homesteaders a green thumb in the garden and cares for many animals. Hope all the bees were asleep when you all planted the mini forest this go-round.
I have enjoyed watching your channel grow and develop since you started. Your new home,caravan, and gardens are developing beautifully. My comment is also related to the low protein potential solution for the mother rabbit. As a child I raised rabbits, I heard of another family having difficulties with a mother rabbit eating her litter. They were told them to feed the rabbit 4 or 5 hot dogs. 1 the day before she was due. And one every day after for 4 days. And that stopped her terrible habit. I would recommend further research, I never tried this myself and it’s a bit of a different strategy. Good luck!

All your doings remind me of the days of my childhood in the 1960 s. We also hedged chicks next to the oven in our Kitchen. And our rabbit mummies also ate their babies sometimes, which gave us a great shock. It Was the same way of living in those days. However, you are very good at banking and cooking, which I already realised. Now I learned about your painting skills. You are really creative, Karolina. Love your family.

Definitely. It’s well worth the effort when your work is rewarded by everyone giving it a thumbs up. A shame about your meringues, but at least you got to try them. The first ones I ever made were at school many, many years ago, I nudged the cooling rack as I was passing & they ended up in a squashed mess on the floor. I never did get to eat any & got detention for my clumsiness as well.

When I was growing up, besides ice cream getting home churned, we had sherbet. The apple cake, I could almost taste it!😘 Yummy! So glad your parents still know how to play.👍I think it's great that you enjoy your lunches outdoors.😊

I am kinda wondering if you eat a lot of chicken but you have rabbits now too ... I have a dipping sauce recipe that mite make it a little easier to put up with the same flavor ... Do you have a McDonald's and if so have you ever had the honey mustard sauce and do you think maybe it mite pair up with Rabbit I know it does with chicken ... just make a small amount to test it ... This makes about a cup 1/2 cup Honey and 1/2 cup Mustard (I use bold spicy) 1 sm or 1/2 clove Garlic Grated 1/2 tsp Vinegar Wisk and let stand a few minutes before serving 15 minutes or so ..

Just love your family!We raised rabbits and when our moms would eat babies vet told us she was lacking salt so we made sure they had a mineral salt block and that helped.Your local feed store should carry them.

Karolina Lemon Meringue tarts are my favorite. That apple cake and ice cream didn't look too shabby either. My grandmother use to make fresh apple cake as well. I loved it. It sure brought some wonderful memories for me. Tell your Mom I was sorry to hear about your baby bunnies. It's weird because I didn't think that rabbits ate meat. I hope the next litter will be ok. Karolina Lemon Meringue tarts are my favorite. That apple cake and ice cream didn't look too shabby either. My grandmother use to make fresh apple cake as well. I loved it. It sure brought some wonderful memories for me. Tell your Mom I was sorry to hear about your baby bunnies. It's weird because I didn't think that rabbits ate meat. I hope the next litter will be ok. She does look like a beautiful and healthy bunny. ❤❤

Your cake and ice cream look scrumptious!!💜 I loved to bake and cook starting about age nine and did many of my families meals a Mum was working as Dad died as a result of WWII. Your lemon tarts looked like a picture on a magazine and the yellow of the egg yolks was such a lovely dark yellow.🌟💛 I think the meringue is more for texture . looked yummy to me!💖
