Cedar Valley Bass Fishing 7/14/24

Got in a few hours before dark at Cedar Valley. First time fishing this lake and it showed. I didn’t lock into many fish and didn’t record a couple but the one fish at the end made the trip. I’ll be back to fish this lake again shortly.

That lake use to be so good. Hopefully it comes back to something close to what it use to be. I never fish the dam but I've heard of some big ones getting caught off of it.

I tried the south end for just a bit but I didn't get too far down it. I struggled and needed a change of pace so I finished up the evening on the north end. If it wasn't for the fish at the end I would probably be hesitant to go back any time soon. Definitely want to go back when it's not blazing saddles out. It's only 30 min away from me so I should be getting in some more time out there. Really cool body of water though! I heard there was a die off a handful of years back?
