Here is what Steve O'Donnell said after Bubba Wallace was suspended last year: “Our actions are really specific to what took place on the race track... in our minds, a really dangerous act. We thought that was intentional and put other competitors at risk."
Bubba was not suspended for shoving Larson. He was suspended for the wreck. Just something to remember while we wait for NASCAR's decision on Elliott.

Chase Elliott NEEDS to be SUSPENDED this week. No excuses, NASCAR! My favorite drivers this week will be Larson, Bowman, Byron, Blaney, and Harvick. Elliott gets crossed off the list for the next week at least.

It could be the biased Chase Elliott fan in me but to me the thing that could plead well for Chase is that even if it was intentional he had contact from the 6 so it's not definitely saying that Chase meant to wreck Denny whereas Bubba moved down 4 or 6 lanes to go get Larson.

@Barry Nelson every replay I saw it looked like if there wasn't contact Brad atleast packed air on Chase so maybe he got loose. Denny is acting like he didn't take out Chastain out earlier this year so by his standards he should've been suspended a race. Not enough clear cut evidence to say Chase wrecked him intentional unlike the Bubba incident last year.

It only shines because the last few years we had to suffer through the absolutely awful 550 package. In reality, the racing kinda sucks. It’s nothing but aero games s the only way to really pass is full sending it into a corner and slide jobbing a guy and forcing him to lift. The only reason it stays close is because the cars have no power and have huge spoilers. The diffuser makes following a guy nearly impossible. Oh, and the moment you get loose you have little chance of recovering it without the side of the wall or something crazy like Reddick in the grass.
Overall, it’s better than the 550 package, but the Xfinity car is still far superior in almost all regards on just about every kind of track

Re-watch the Chase Elliott Denny Hamlin clip again. After he hits the wall, before he turns left into Denny, the car actually zigs to the right first. And with the steering information that was available on that chart, it looks more like a broken rear toe link. Because if it broke when he hit the wall, that would cause him to not only veer left but right as well. It looks like he actually had no control of that car.

The managers all know they can get away with telling the owner what he wants to hear and the President of the organization trusts the people who work under him to keep him in the loop and current about progress or lack thereof inside the shop. If anyone is curious on what happened to TrackHouse today then here is the botch version. Both of them started near the rear due to the rain out and then they had this weird thing during the race where when one of their cars was running top 15/10 the other was stuck 20th on back, and it flip-flopped between the 1 and 99 until Suarez was caught in KB’s spin onto the apron which led him to hit Kyle’s passenger side door. That wrecked his splitter and nose enough that he was effectively out of contention. Ross got similar damage in a weird impact on pit road when he pulled out of his stall and got stuck 4 wide with (If my memory isn’t garbage) MTJ, KB, and Stenhouse, hitting one of them with the front by accident while trying to leave the stall. Just a case of not enough room. After that, both of them just lost any speed they had and were relegated to the back. Neither of these incidents were their fault, they just got stuck in wrong place at the wrong time.
