I want to see Brendan is MORE MOVIES PLEASE, he was fantastic on screen before his withdrawl from the light due to a string of bad experiences, but i want to see him in fun roles too, like George of the Jungle, and the Mummy character he played, he is a good actor!, and a good human!.
I saw it today it was a small, intimate performance. Honestly, I thought the characters were a little bit too mean and Brendan Fraser’s character Charlie was a little bit too nice so it was a little bit off balance but I’m glad Brendan Fraser is back!
Brendan Was such a huge part of my childhood. The Mummy was the first movie I loved so much I watched the VHS over and over again. Lol He looks much better than he has, and I hope to see him happy, and healthy, and see his return to acting.
People have really forgotten the pointbof movies. Its a message from 1 person to humanity and lately humanity has been understanding but kost of the time its a brat just trying to find something funny or entertaining. How about an actual story of struggle and love and indeed humility
Is it just me or does Brendan seem like he's starting to play into this thing a little too much now? He's starting to be overly nice and sweet and it seems like he's always on the verge of crying. He's either playing it up or he's got no testosterone running through those veins anymore. I don't think it's all an act or anything I just think he might be exaggerating it a bit after seeing people respond to it. I still think hes a good guy and deserves his comeback nonetheless.
It’s like how Jennifer Lawrence leaned into the “She’s acting just like how one of us would around all these famous people. She’s so straight-forward and down-to-earth!” thing when she realized people were responding well to it. Sadly, watch recent news regarding her and stuff can turn around real fast and even the most human of them can lose that. Now, Brendan’s been through some stuff, with that sexual assault story etc. and a failed marriage, so maybe his new puppy dog-eyed Mr. Empath who’s at one with all of our pain COULD be like the J-Law thing. It could be subonsciously going with what gets people liking you again, as any of us might do. Or it could be an act. He is, after all, an actor. I’m sure that before a producer goosed him at an event he had countless other traumas in his youth. Watch old interviews. The always almost crying thing’s not there, despite him likely suffering then too at times as we all do. You bring up an unpopular but valid point no one else is, but I was thinking too. Only time will tell if this newly enlightened “Precious Moments” porcelain angel with a single tear Brendan is here to stay or not. If so, I’m all for it. He makes me feel like everything’s okay and everyone deserves love, like some big mushy mashed potato. But if it proves false, shame on him! Bad potato!!!
@@UncleDeadly1031 Very well said lol I just think it's getting to be a little much for my taste. Watching The Mummy and then seeing him now it's a little depressing. I literally was just watching old interviews the other day for a little compare and contrast and he definitely wasn't like he is now. He was always a nice thoughtful guy but he didn't seem so emotional and unmasculine. If it was anyone else I'd be calling bullshit and not buying it at all but he made my childhood in the 90s a little more magical so I'm giving him a pass. It's the smart thing to do but he might be going over the top. If it's totally genuine I really dont know how I feel. Apart of me wants to see a more masculine version and not pandering to the left so much. They love their men to be just like this and I can't stand it lol
@@chriswilson1968 "Emotional and unmasculine" Men are humans with a wide range of emotions, Chris. I surely hope no one is exactly who they were 20, 30 years ago; that would mean they were stagnant. If you're lucky in this life, you get the privilege of evolution. I would be very interested to hear what Brendan himself thought of who he's become compared to who he is now - you seem to think he's emasculated for showing some emotions you associate with being feminine. I hope you get to live a lot more and learn a lot more. Cheers. Be well.
Im so glad Brendan is getting the recognition he deserves. Incredible actor

Brendan looks like loosing lots of weight. Make The Mummy 4 now !!
I had the same thought. Please let it be. Only with the original cast and Stephen Sommers though
Brendan wore a fat suit in the whale
