Sadie picked The Devil Wears Prada, but what about YOU? If someone wanted to save you from Vecna, what movie should they play to pull you out of the Upside Down?
I learned as a kid back in the '80s, not to listen to or rely on critics and award judges. They usually pick the most not abstract, and standard clichés of the art. They never go outside the box and pick actual spine tingling performances, unless they absolutely HAVE to.
I just LOVE how Sadie looks so excited with every question. I mean, we can compare with others interviews and there're not that kind of question who makes her look like that
I really like this interviewer. She asks questions actors aren’t normally asked and she put so much detail into them. She’s so interactive with all of them as well
I mean, Sadie is absolutely gorgeous and all, but we have to give a credit to Perri. Sheer passion, insightful questions, ease of getting into a conversation - she's definitely one of the best in the business. Congrats, absolutely great job, as always.
Perri is always such a great interviewer with even better questions. And Sadie is such a phenomenal actress, can’t wait to see her in Vol. 2 and beyond!
This is easily the best interview with Sadie I’ve seen in awhile… it had to be with this presenter! Both were amazing here and kept the interview so much engaging as it goes. 👏
“Please be very proud of what you did in episode 4. Hands down one of my fav episodes on the show and one of my fav episodes on television of all time.” Very well said and Sadie absolutely deserved to hear that. What a great interviewer. Very intelligent and respectful
I love how much she understands her character and put a conscious work on making Max's situation makes sense. She didn't just went along with what was written, she did her work so that she can portray it well. I mean a lot of people were also questioning there's no way she'd be that affected by Billy's death and the fact that she was kind of in a happy mood at the end of season 3. So I think it's amazing to know she did thought about what might have happened in between really makes her scenes have that weight to it.
I'm happy she addressed this too. Watching the series, I was confused how Max went from happy (joking about Dustin) to depressed. But I just told myself maybe that was Max's reaction to Vecna's curse. Vecna can amplify negative emotions. Maybe without Vecna, she would not have isolated herself as much.
I'm glad Fear Street got brought up, because she was great in that as well. And the Emmy level performance comment was made even stronger by Vol. 2 of season 4. Her and Caleb in the attic are both incredible performances, but it's made all the more powerful because of how well Sadie had done with the character leading up to that point. Horror is always more impactful when you have actors capable of making characters feel like relatable and fully realized humans.
I just have to comment on how amazing this interview was!! The questions were great, and the host created a perfectly comfortable and fun environment for Sadie! I haven't seen her this comfortable and happy in an online interview yet; and I've watched a lot of press videos haha
honestly this is the best interview i’ve seen someone do with Sadie Sink. A lot of interesting and different questions and scenarios that gave more insight on her compared to all the interviews that ask the same handful of questions everytime
Its great to see an interview where the interviewer really loves the interviewee because all the questions feel so genuine, also feels like you gave her a really safe space, Sadie looked very comfortable answering
I have seen *so many* people talk about their own struggles with grief, trauma, and depression, and how meaningful Sadie's performance was to them in that context. I hope she knows that she gave that to people.
Sadie Sink is so bright and full of positive energy! Wishing her the best hope she always remains herself in the acting world! Much love! I agree with the defining moment, it was the moment Max became one of my faves!
you are such an amazing interviewer! these questions really nailed aspects of her character that the surface-level BuzzFeed videos never grasp. You are clearly so informed and so intelligent.
I genuinely love your questions and I love this interview with Sadie. Sadie has to be my favorite actress and she is so sweet and I am so happy you got to interview her!
Sadie looks so pretty! I’m glad she’s getting so much praise for S4 E4 because that truly is one of the most gripping moments of TV I’ve seen in the last 5 years and she acted beautifully in it.
*I love Sadie Sink. She seems like she would be an awesome person to have as a best friend and/or an even better girlfriend. She seems beautiful inside and out and has the perfect smile too. I wish I could find a girl like her.* 🤞
Can she write the questions for every interview ever?! This was so refreshing. A lot of interviews ask stale, over-used questions. You can tell a lot of thought went into these!
she is very natural i love her answers, her work on ST has been amazing! Thank you for this interview, it was very amazing and I really loved the questions
Sadie is amazing this is why I love her sm and her character has helped me thru a stage of depression too and she also encouraged me not to be afraid or let anyone walk over me and to be confident
I remember being lukewarm on her addition to the show. I loved all the original kids and wasn't too stoked about adding her to the gang. A few episodes in she won me over and then some. She's awesome. Great interview Perri, as per usual. 👏
Excellent interview! Thoughtful questions and well-rounded answers and thank you for expressing how incredible she was in that scene. I will be one among many disappointed fans if she does not receive an Emmy Nomination.
I just finished watching this full video and omg it made me so happy. You are a really good and talented interviewer that asked her amazing questions, you did a good job! And Sadie is so well spoken with answering those really good questions. I love how she smiles a lot as she speaks, she seems so nice and friendly! 10/10 interview, one of the best ones I have ever seen. And the ending was so cute how Sadie said she didn’t know a cat was there the entire time haha. I noticed the cat from the beginning. Very cute cat!
I’m so glad this popped up in my feed. It’s the most charismatic and relaxed interview I’ve seen Sadie be on. She looks so engaged and happy. Thank you for this
ahh this was such a great interview. the questions were so interesting and creative, and you could literally see sadie beaming at the last one! great work, you’re so sweet and personable!
@@messdemoiselle She is another best actress of this generation, if you interested go check any of her recent projects, like Scream 2022, The Fallout or X, she is amazing!
Terrific interview on both parts. The most interesting piece of Season 4, Episode 4, for me, from the purely technical aspect, was that Dacre Montgomery "Billy" was stuck in quarantined Australia during this whole time - and that (a) it took a full year to figure out how to actually get him into Ep. 4, and (b) that his scenes were eventually shot in Australia with Shawn Levy directing via Zoom or whatever.
the scene that max runs away from vecna is very strong and beautiful, because she chooses her friends, she chooses to live. Sadie deserves the emmy, congratulations 👏❤
If episode 4 wins her an Emmy, her performance in the end of episode 9 will win her anything and everything she wants man. THAT….THAT was an AMAZING performance at the end of 9. GOD it made me feel so bad for Max in a way that I never felt for any character in any show I’ve watched. Like GOD I felt so bad for her. She did such an amazing job in episode 9, her and Caleb for that matter!
I think the scene in season 3 after Billy died of max making fun of Dustin and then in season 4 when she was just kinda as Sadie said, depressed and realizing how the death of Billy really did effect her, showed how grief can change a person so drastically. Props to the duffers and Shawn Levy for that, along with Sadie’s performance.
Sadie picked The Devil Wears Prada, but what about YOU? If someone wanted to save you from Vecna, what movie should they play to pull you out of the Upside Down?

Sadie was robbed of an emmy nominee. But no matter, she still wins our hearts. She’s so classy and well spoken, I’m sure she’s going places.

Sadie did a lot of interviews recently and this is probably the best out there. 👏
Probably because she wasn’t drained from doing them all day like in previous ones. It must be hard having like a dozen interviews in one day
Perri is always such a great interviewer with even better questions. And Sadie is such a phenomenal actress, can’t wait to see her in Vol. 2 and beyond!

i was gonna say this. everything abt it was clever, really loved it !!
I’m finding this a little later than most but I can wholeheartedly agree. Best interviewer I’ve ever seen!
