Big shout out to Lippert for sponsoring Matt's RV Reviews Towables!
I actually really, really love a full walk through bathroom!! Instead of wasted hall way space it makes a bigger bathroom. I love the outdoor kitchen! The whole interior is set up nicely. Can't think of anything I don't like about it.
I own the 2021 version of this model. I was under the impression that the reason fiberglass was used was a result of supply chain issues. I wanted to comment on all the negative attention the bunk house and bath is getting. With a family of 6, the layout and space is not an issue at all for us. In fact, it was one of the primary reasons we went this this model. We love the locations of both bathrooms, it just works well for us. The kids get their own private area (with the exception of shower time). My kids are not 6'3 and have a smaller profile, so the space is very adequate. Two additional comments, first, you did not mention the solar package that comes standard on the Transcend line, it is a great plus and at a minimum with keep your fridge/freezer operational for weeks with no shore power. We load groceries a couple days before we go out and are very pleased with the results. The one thing we dislike about the trailer is the beds that come with these, specially the queen in the master bed area. If anyone has recommendations for a replacement, please let me know. I haven't slept on the cub beds but I can't imagine they are any better. However, no complaints from the kids yet.
I can’t believe how many RV videos I watch
It's a kids TT and thank God the kids have their own potty, close that sliding door and let them out at mealtime. The living area, master bath and bedroom are very nice. Hey the guests can use the half bath. You don't like the fiberglass sides?????? I agree with Will, "are you crazy"?
This is nice. My likes are it’s spacious and has two doors and the tv is a across from the theater seats. My dislikes are the bunk room no room to move around in and too much bunks no tv play center for kids. I do like the 1/2 bath room for kids and get guest. Thank you Matt and Wil.
Great layout.. Great feng shui 😂. Lots to like about this travel trailer
I love what they did here. All the “execution flaws” are intentional: less weight, less cost, easier towing, sleep a lot of people. Less slide outs, non solid surface counters; it’s incredibly cost friendly. AND, it’s still a top tier quality. Also, it’s great they made pure the paying customer got the Prime poopin position!
Absolutely agree about walk through bathrooms I'm not a fan. Love Grand design and the Transcend line but I also agree with you on the fiberglass vs the aluminum siding on the Transcend. The aluminum siding is the nicest on the market and the best looking
Will email you hopefully in the future when we are ready to buy. Thanks for the great videos guys.
:36 ...even if Jen isn't in the video ...she's still on the Team! Give Jen an avatar in the intro!!
I like the bathroom with shower being between the main bedroom and the living. Too many are in the bedroom where guests have to come in the bedroom to shower.
Plastic toilet for guest and children and the porcelain throne for the paying adults 😂😂
Love having the 2 doors just wish the main entrance door had solid steps, preferably Lippert 😉
That bunk room seems too cramp, I don't think there is a need for the 4 bunks. It would be better to have 2 bunks East to West and make an entertainment center or something
Hi Matt can you do an information video on what type of trucks you need to pull these towables? I like Ford F-150s but I suspect their towing capacity is very limited.
Will how big is the Fridge? Is there room for a coffee pot? Enough room for pots and pans? Just asking.
Do those handles to help you get up the steps fold back when you’re driving?
My understanding is that GD is doing fiberglass walls on Transcends because of shortage in their particular style of aluminum siding.
I dislike split baths too. I had a rental with that and was a pain.
Guys, would love to see a review of a Riverstone Reserve 3850RK
GD threw fiberglass on some late model 2021 and early 2022 Transcends while they were short on products to help fill the backlog of pre-orders.
We looked at this one but ultimately chose the Transcend 297QB (I REALLY want to see you review that one). I didn't like the bunk room as much and really don't like the pass through bathroom. I like having a 1/2 bath and appreciate that there's nice big windows.
I wish that they'd put in a floating bar instead of the table..leave out the half bath and give the bunks more room. 😫.
I'm hoping you two will do the 2022 version of an Imagine 3100RD. I know Matt and Andrea did one a while back, but I don't think you've done a 2022 Imagine of any floor plan yet.
How's it going Matt
That's so Zoolander, "I can only skip right", lol
Well, they do have Solitude S-Class....
There are virtually no camp-side windows. A little one over the sink and one in the bunk. Not good for keeping an eye on kids.
Hi matt
LIKE THE KITCHEN THE MASTER BATHROOM THE TWO DOORS DON’T LIKE THE TIGHT BUNK HOUSE THE CARPET THE PLASTIC TOILET IN THE 1\2 BATHROOM THE OUTSIDE STEPS
how you doin
That half bath seems pointless. I'd much rather have nothing or a laundry room/closet there
