I just bought of these (UTRAI 2000A) and I'm waiting for shipping. Do you think I made a very poor choice not buying one with a higher current peak? Apparently higher currents means you can start big trucks.
No, these things work great, it'll start my diesel 6 cylinder Kubota excavator no problem. And the amperage reading I don't even know how they figure it, I think they're kind of fabricated.

I like the combo units better to be honest, they are much more versatile in the trunk of a car when you need it

Can it be charged via USB or 12v outlet? I would like to just keep it in my truck AND keep it charged. They need to add a full 12" to those leads. There is plenty of room for that in the mesh top of the case.
Would it be possible to disassemble the +- adapter and put longer leads on it?

Was tempted to get this to replace a lead battery jump but the compressor is causing doubts now reading a few reviews saying it packs up, I'd be using it to keep car wheels topped up now and then but can it be trusted
Hmm, where you seeing that? I have not seen any comments on that. I use the pump regularly and haven't had an issue
Whats the battery health like? Does it last without deterioration
