I must have you know that I'm a student from Nigeria and this video is one that has been helping me a analyse my data from Day1. Infact, i recommended it to my friends.
Everything from one stage to another is well comprehended, you do not hurry with your tutoring like what other tutors keep doing. Furthermore, you went by repeating the stages and a summary of what you did earlier. Thanks for all the tutoring.
They can leave it blank. But then you need to decide if you want to make them part of the analysis. If too many of the responses are missing, then just don't include the respondent in the analysis.
Hello sir, you videos are very helpful. Sir, as you mentioned that the tab(251) had missing values throughout, it needs to be deactivated. I am trying to do the same for my tabs which do not contain values but it is not getting unhighlighted. I am using SPSS 26, what could be the reason that my tab is not getting unhighlighted even after clicking clear? Please help me with this sir.
Your explanation is so well-structured, Sir. I have a question, about question 10 represented in your data, what if the respondent didn't fill in the questions? Thus, the missing data can't be filled. Should I just delete the row? (And report that activity in my syntax). One more question, when I delete the row, should I still press clear?
to delete a row you will have to press "clear". Well, if the respondents did not answer a question, you have three options. 1. you can report in results that this much number of values are missing/ not filled by respondents. 2. you can remove it from your data, means do not use the questionnaire having many missing values. 3. There is a method know as imputation in which you fill the missing value by yourself looking at the other options, or taking mean of the other responses.
What can i do if identified outlier is valid. Like majority of the responses are strongly agree and few are strongly disagree . when i check for outliers "strongly agree" shows as outliers :( Please help
I don't think that is a problem. In Likert Scale respondents re free to report whichever value they feel like. if there are many 5s or 4s that's OK. you just need to do the analysis and report the results.
Assalam-0-alaikum Sir! Normally we calculate a percentage table on one item in SPSS ....can we calculate a percentage table for 1 variable in SPSS? Suppose, If a variable has 6 items and we want to calculate one percentage table for all 6 items, instead of making a percentage table for a single item. Waiting for your kind response. JazakAllah!
I think you are talking about the computing of variable... yes you can do that... I have explained it in this video.. ua-cam.com/video/7g5Ijuh3aHw/v-deo.html Please feel free to ask, if you do not get the answer.

What if the respondent chose not to answer any question? Are we suppose to leave it blank?
They can leave it blank. But then you need to decide if you want to make them part of the analysis. If too many of the responses are missing, then just don't include the respondent in the analysis.
Lot of thanks sir
How do we get this data you’re using to practice along ?

well explained sir
Thank you so much Sir

Thanks for this wonderful video. But pls, can I have access to the data set used in the video?

In order to delete the data you need to right click the extreme left tab of the row (containing number) and then click clear..
