You should keep doing how to videos to show case how easy it is for people to install what you sell. Every part on your website should have a UA-cam “How To” video next to it on your website. Awesome work! 😎⚡️💪🇺🇸
You picked an easy model of sporty to do this with. Try a 2016+ sporty with the upper triple tree that is a work of art that has to be replaced . That way you could of shown us how to swap the tripples out. I just finished a similar job on a 19' 48 . Did the 2 inch riser extensions and 8 inch mini apes
yeah he mentions that in either this one or the rabbit ear video that he was being lazy lol. Defiantly good practice to have! Keep on wrenching my friend!
all you have to do is trace the gauge cables to where they connect and un hook them its quite simple. When we tear into this sportster to make a chopper out of it, we will try and include that step in one of them.
Great Vid. I have a 1200 C 2005 with that horibble riser, Want to switch to a standard riser set up. Maybe mini apes. Do you have a suggestion or link to a mount you guys have. Chrome. Basically a Sportster 72 setup? To relocate my speedo. Hate the side mounted versions. I have the 4.5 gallon tank. Probably couldnt even see a side mount.
You can find stock style risers here: www.lowbrowcustoms.com/products/cycle-standard-1-7-inch-rise-forged-aluminum-harley-davidson-handlebar-risers-chrome We have 6.5", 8", 9" and 12" apes available in a wide variety of options. www.lowbrowcustoms.com/collections/motorcycle-handlebars
I want to put a set of burley brand scrambler bars on a 96 883 but I hate the way the electrical controls look on the bar. Is there a good kit to replace the stock buttons for a cleaner look?
We have a variety of different custom switches and also 'switch pod deletes' that let you use your stock levers but ditch the large, stock Harley electrical controls. Check out some options here: www.lowbrowcustoms.com/collections/motorcycle-handlebar-switches-wiring
Quick question, just purchased a 2011 XL1200C Sportster. Interested in putting bars in like in this video. Do I need to extend all my cables? Or is there enough slack?
That depends on what size bars you choose. If you have drag bars currently and you're looking to go to 10 inch t bars or some mini apes, yeah you're prob gonna need cables.
just only a grade 8 bolt believe me... not a weak grade 5 bolt ever they break right off and then your in trouble big time with only only side to try to control bike...

You mentioned eliminating the gauge cluster. Are you guys considering doing a video on that at all?

@@lowbrowcustoms Way more simple than I expected! Thanks!
