    How amazing and super physical stamina people have to be able to construct such the gigantic highways and streets which seem much more and uncomparable capacility for people willing to drive on the roads and streets built!

    No its not San Diego or Vancouver BC. yes it gets very cold in winter, and yes every street looks the same , but the people are the nicest i ever seen. They smile when greeting you. Unlike Toronto.

    • @Philthee24
      @Philthee24 2 роки тому +5

      There are some small lakes (nothing to write home about), definitely no ocean being completely land locked, but the mountains are right there. Calgary is on the edge of the Rockies.
      To the east - prairies,
      To the south - large rolling hills and rivers
      To the north - forest, rivers and lakes
      To the west - rocky mountains.
      Add with that, diverse culture and relatively clean city with a safe active night life, plenty of family day events. Lots of hiking and biking and water fall trails around Kananaskis. Plenty of crown land camping in every direction...
      It's a pretty great place to live in my opinion.

    Lots of random violent crime at the moment, homelessness is rampant and businesses are dying

    • @hunka007
      @hunka007 2 роки тому +2

      Not true. Calgary has always had homelessness. Because of the pandemic, they are more visible, because of the lack of workers downtown. Writing this in early May, many thousands of workers have returned to their offices and businesses are recovering.
      The businesses you speak of, are retail outlets, restaurants. They are coming back quickly. Locals know the importance of these businesses and are supporting them.
