i would have preferd if this card draws a card for evey second special summon ur opponent does. It balances combo decks out that summon 15 monsters or more in a turn.
There is no way Konami puts this as a common, rare or super. It going to be most likely Secret or with some luck UR. It may also be QCR since they know people will definitely play it.
Very excited to get this card in the TCG. Aside from the fact that the existence of this card could justify also running 3 Phantazmay for the Snake-Eye match-up for more opportunities at generating card advantage before they can establish a negate (meaning thats more chances to draw into non-engine outs or engine pieces for decks that have a lot of gas), its also just another good consistency tool in general thats nice to have in the format (similar to Prosperity).
The fact we have an exclusive Maxx C for Floo in TCG is ironic. Even vs Yubel/Unchained mentioned in the video, you'll get max 2 draws for the normal summon + 3 draws by Throne/Squirmer/Sharvara if your opponents goes FULL combo and doesn't care about it. Realistically you get 2 draws total. It's not that good in practice, and feels too much like a bad errata of Maxx C. I believe it should have counted Special Summons from the Extra deck as well. For example a deck like Cyberse that can do the entire combo with a normal summon would give the opponent a single draw. It's heavily reliant on the format.
Card is vastly overrated. It's just another Phantazmay esque card. It doesn't hurt the cards for a lot of decks that hard. Most decks only special 1-2 times from hand which is also very similar to phantazmay. If this stays above $60 I'd be shocked.
It'll probably be a 15-20 dollar staple when it levels out. Like, i think it'll see a lot of side deck play, but thats about it. Its nothing too mind blowing, but hey, card advantage is card advantage. I'm definitely picking it up myself. Also, snake eye does summon from hand up to 3 times (Poplar is guaranteed, there's the normal summon, and then you also potentially have Diabellstar). I'm just happy that this kills Floow more than anything. They're gonna have to main deck Droll for the rest of their life, lol.
This hurts my less meta decks more than it hurts my meta decks. Ursarctics and Vanquish Souls dont like it much. I actually dont want this OR Maxx C in the game, But at least Maxx C is earth attribute for my Vs :(
So if I set up a board that is 6 monsters plus 6 (by the effect), my opponent draws like 2, so the difference 12-6, my opponent shuffles randomly 6 cards from their hand back to the deck?
So 6 monsters and no backrow or field spell? 6+6=12. If you have more than 12 cards, you shuffle back the excess amount. You'd keep your 2 cards you drew. There's probably not a lot of meta relevant situations where you'd shuffle back the cards unless your opponent is that worried about your card advantage and chooses to end on a half board. Its just a going second Maxx "C". Personally, i'm all here for it. It looks really healthy for the game as far as reducing the disadvantage between going first and second.
Your opponent can keep 1 card for every card on your board, then 6 additional ones (the typical going second hand) So [your board] + 6 = [opponent's hand] In your example, it's 6+6=12
So am guessing they will be making a version that targets cards summoned from deck, graveyard, extra deck... In other words, instead of 3 max C you will be rocking loads of these multchummy bois....Good thing we arent already stacked with hand traps these days
I think it's an amazing card and something we've needed in the TCG for a long time. - You can draw into additional hand traps while your opponent plays, and further disrupt your opponent. - You can draw into your powerful board breakers like Dark Ruler, Forbidden Droplet, Lightning Storm, Evenly etc and board break easier going second. I think going second becomes a lot less of a liability after this cards release if it catches on. Cards like Solemn Judgment will also be a lot better going first because if your entire board gets outed by something as simple as Dark Ruler + Evenly, which will be easier to draw into with this card, what's the point building the board? Probably going to be a Secret Rare know KoMoney.
I REALLY look forward to the memes on this card in few months to a year or so. The card says "other mulchummy monsters.", so I assume there will be one for specialing from the extra deck, main deck and graveyard (possibly banishment? But who specials from that? Lol). I know exactly what the memes will be, I'm prophesizing it right now, they will show a picture of Zarc from arc 5 with a picture of maxx c over his face, Konami will be Ray and it will show how Maxx c was so powerful that Konami had to split Maxx c into 4 different cards who only know 1 special summoning mechanic so he couldn't ruin the entire game lol.
I do not think TCG and OCG will follow the same ban list. They'll be close but not 1:1. TCG and OCG aren't even allowed to play together in the first place with the current rules in place
This card is hella toxic and will be hated as much as cards like shifter. The fact that at worst it gives you a starting hand of 7 cards going 2nd is stupid. It’s just pot of greed at worst. Also I’m pretty sure this card can stack so if you open 2 you start with 8 cards in hand. Thing is, the fact that this card at worst deck thins so you have more engine or handtraps to break a board is really good, infinitely better than phantaz. This will be a side deck staple till it gets banned.
Honestly? Card is kinda mid as a hand trap. The main reason why it works in the OCG is because it can be used along with Maxx C. The fact you can activate multiple copies is nice, but in the TCG I don’t think this is going to see play in the decklists of top players. Getting to maybe draw 2 cards on average is eh.
I thought I was gonna only have to deal with Maxx C in Master Duel... Maaannnnnn.... I will say I do infinitely prefer this if it means in all formats Maxx C is banned
Meh. Sounds like a setup to turn a good hand into a brick when you shuffle back, especially against something like Yubel that has a low count endboard and doesn't special from hand more than twice. Not to mention the process of randomly selecting cards is going to be so annoying and time consuming in paper play, ugh.
i would have preferd if this card draws a card for evey second special summon ur opponent does. It balances combo decks out that summon 15 monsters or more in a turn.
Masterduel won’t care about it as long as the bug is still legal.

QCR only would cause a boycott lol

@@babradso you just want maxx c?
Ocg has bo3 as well , just bo1 for that ycs since it was a lot of people
Yeah, knowing Konami, it's probably going to be a secret rare the first couple of prints.

Finally. I'm not the only one who thinks it's way too overrated.

They shuffle nothing because they don't have more than 12 cards in hand.

lets manifest it. *they are gonna print it in super rare or lower!*
Life is hard. Literal years since support. Other side keeps getting variations of exactly the same summon. Exactly the same summon.

Cant wait for new staple to be 1 gazillion dollars.......
What if Konami makes Multchummy only QCR in Infinite Forbidden?

How much do y'all think the card is gonna cost on release?
I as a tearlament player am so ready fro this card :3
I think this is a good card but it's really only good going second since it has that restriction of needing an empty field.
if it it's a secret rare cases going to be selling so fast, and we all know konamee love it's money but not giving any money to it's players
Waiting for the $8000 updated Branded deck list to drop 😅

Not replacing maxx c.

I think yugioh needs cards for going second but this is absolutely too much. I hope this card gets banned as soon as possible
this card here in Ocg is overrated as heck and it's trash.
@@GabrielGarcia-mp3rf I don't think is trash, I just think they don't use that cause thay have maxx c
Its actually trash. Many decks dont special summon enough from hand
This card sucks.
Sounds mid. Only good turn 1 if you’re going second. Just more bricks. 🧱
