Catholic convert from Judaism here. Catholicism is the fulfilment of the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a way that Jews can be made to see the truth of God in Christ. If I could be made to see, then so can the other Jews.
I will definitely be praying for the conversion of the Jews. I think it was removed from the prayers in fear offending. Sometimes being offended is exactly what the soul needs.
I'm always amazed by how deep Traditional Catholicism really is, I always learn something new, unlike in the modern version of the Church, which sadly I'm forced to attend, thank you Father, praying for you! Thank you for your wisdom

The rabbi has such wisdom about the scriptures and yet just can’t quite grasp the deeper meaning. Thank God for the gift of our faith. You are right Fr. Mawdsley we will someday agree with Gods help.
Father Mawdsley, thank you for your sacrifice to teach us in a way that we understand. We do not have this anymore in our Church. Can you please do a video on suffering? It’s an area that most priests avoid or give very superficial teaching on it. There are many theologians that write on this topic but, the layman cannot completely understand it. You, Father, have been given the gift of speaking to understand without reducing the point to kindergarten level. Thank you.
I might get around to it. But I have still not quite got around to saying the very things that I set up the channel to say. Getting close. After that, if the channel survives, then suffering is a central topic, much misunderstood. God bless.
The beginning sounds like a Catholic priest, Rabbi joke 😂 Thank you Father for such a fantastic delivery of valuable information ❤✝️ May God continue to bless you
I left the Catholic Church over 50 years ago over the horrible changes that occurred from Vatican II. I grew up loving my faith and the Holy Mass. I came Home from Vietnam I felt like I was in a Protestant Church. As a result I searched and searched for something that would give me the Peace I had in G-d’s true church.Long story short converted to Orthodox Judaism 20 years ago. I am Hasidic Jew living in New York now. I went back to the source. I could never fully deny Christ. Although I thought the church had become another Protestant church.. I went to something that was the least compromised faith hoping it would bring me back to HaShem and in many ways it has, but not like what I had in the church. The sacrament of Holy Communion with the real presence! This was the purest form of closeness to HaShem. Now with all the confusion and Pope Francis and the Garbage he is now bringing to the church this is a scandal. I wouldn’t know where to go or where to pray Etc. May God Bless i Is all during these trying times as we await the coming of Moshiach., May It be soon. Amen
Let us pray also for the faithless Jews: that almighty God may remove the veil from their hearts; so that they too may acknowledge Jesus Christ our Lord. Almighty and eternal God, who dost not exclude from thy mercy even Jewish faithlessness: hear our prayers, which we offer for the blindness of that people; that acknowledging the light of thy Truth, which is Christ, they may be delivered from their darkness. Through the same our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen. Prayer for the conversion of the jews in the traditional good friday.
Well, there is a lot of misunderstanding there. Jesus never did anything wrong, never sinned, never committed a crime. Nobody's faith required He be punished or killed. The faith of Abraham embraced Jesus, and the Law of Moses did not allow for the illegal trial and unjust accusations against Him. I mean, nobody can reject Jesus out of reasons of faith. It is other reasons He is rejected (including ignorance). As to the prayer, if makes a lot of sense for a lot of reasons to stick to Latin. "faithless" is not a good translation. May I say, with respect, I think Judaism puts a lot of emphasis on 'tolerance' and 'multi-culturalism' and minorities because it suits Judaism very well that no other religion becomes too powerful. But Islam and Catholicism are not so. They are all or nothing. Obviously I think Islam is wrong. But I understand why they are all or nothing. The point is, to be true to itself, Catholicism has to be 'all' -- universal, or it is empty, zip, nothing, a lie, a human invention, wicked. But the 'all' that is Catholicism, being from God, allows no injustice, including attempts to force anyone to convert. Where that has happened, it is not of God. I don't believe it has happened as much as the popular narrative claims, but still it should not happen anywhere. God bless.
@@MrBrashRooster God called them Synagoge of Satan for a reason. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:3 If "faith" you're talking about is so satanic then it's faithless.
@@MrBrashRooster It's not about ignorance, it's about rejection. Jews reject God and Logos and turn to other different kind of transcendence and dialectic that are pervert. Why are they doing that? Is it out of faith or something else?
Thank you Father. We learned sacrifice in catholic grade school - offer it up to God - years ago. Today they never heard of "offer it up." Jesus came to find the children of Abraham first didn't He. God keep you.
Btw, my phone shows your name as מַרְגָּלִית (Margaret, or Pearl?). But the laptop does not. Phone is smarter than the laptop! Love the name of your blog.
@@ScriptureandTraditionFrJM Thanks. I actually have to edit it a lot. :) My real name is a diminutive of Margaret. The Hebrew translation device couldn't do it for my real name lol.
!! איזו הדרכה גדולה !! Worth the wait again, Fr. Mawdsley. Love the idea of the united wills of the Father and the Son. I remember a conversation with a Jewish friend. She asked: “Should I become a Catholic?”. I felt stumped. Yeah, she should. But, how? She was a faithful ‘Torah Jew’. The best I could come up with was: “Sure, if you want to. But first be a good Jew.”. She never brought it up again; and I had no words. So, today, my question is: Now what? Can faithful Catholics vilify Jews, blame them for everything wrong in the world, support notions of conspiracy, and insult Jewish people? Just as God blinded people or silenced them for a purpose (Zechariah, father of John the Baptist), cannot God allow people to be so close to the truth yet not able to step over into it? And, should Catholics bash the only people on earth who are that close, who at least recite this central truth every day? What would be the point of that? מה יעשה אברהם אבינו. Lots of questions. But, questions arise from interesting teaching. You’ve done it again, Fr. Mawdsley. Can’t wait until your fourth book. Happy Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord.

So much to consider here, Father. I pray that I can be willing to obey and follow as God wills. In the Word of God, I find Jesus who is the way the truth and life. It dispels the confusion and the false agendas, no matter who is Pope, no matter what the heresy or who is President or who will be. Thank you for bringing forth this illumination on Abraham's obedience to the will of God the Father. For me self sacrifice means self offering.
Shalom, Fr. James, who doesn't love a straight-shooting talker!?! This video was absolutely golden (my favourite). I listened to it more than once. Regarding the prayers in the Good Friday Holy Mass for the conversion of Jews: Sadly, I found out not long ago that the TLM Priest in my area had asked permission to pray the old traditional prayers, and his request was denied (this is not private news). It's so disappointing because as you rightly said, we want souls to be saved, we want the veils to be lifted from their eyes, plus, when the Jews convert, we know (as one of your viewers pointed out on your last video) that it will be a great sign of Christ's Second Coming.
Thanks so much for everything, father. I look so forward to your videos and love that you’ve been on the Fatima channel too. God bless!
God bless you, Father Mawdsley, for continuing in your work and sharing your insightful exegesis, which reminds me of the Church Fathers, who ardently sought the conversion of the Jews by showing the prefiguration of Christ in the Old Testament. This was a moving lesson and a needful reminder to pray for the salvation of Abraham's progeny.
Im new to your channel and I just want to say how beautifully you explain details that make me see more clearly the old testament and the fulfillment in the new testament. Thank you so very much.
I’ve been watching a lot of stand up and the first minute and a half of this gave me whiplash 😂 Was a great set up, Father. Maybe you have a moonlighting gig in you 😂
Really great. Love listening to your insights. So beautiful... but that is because they are the thoughts and deeds of God you are explaining. Also, your point about the dangers of the Kabbala is spot on.
Question Fr. Mawdsley : I would appreciate your commentary about God showing us His Face, in the Old Testament and also in the New, and the many times where 'face' is spoken in regard to Abraham seeing the face of God etc. Do you have any comment about Jesus' revelation of His Holy Face in the 19th century, and His message to Sr. Marie St. Pierre, that devotion to His Holy Face was needed to make reparation for the blasphemeis and outrages of revolutionary men (the Communists)- through whom God was/is allowing the world to be chastised for its unbelief. Thank-you Fr. Mawdsley, with sincere prayers for you and your ministry. 🙏
@@ScriptureandTraditionFrJM : Thank-you. I was hoping you'd consider making a video and am encouraged by your reply. I'm learning so much and deepening my love for the Holy Trinity through your videos. I will petition the Good Lord. I am quite certain He desires reparation, as His Holy Mother asked at Fatima.🙏 Ps. 119:58 "I entreated thy face with all my heart: have mercy on me according to thy word."
Btw, speaking of the Face of God, just editing this paragraph in book no.3 (Crucifixion to Creation): The OT feeds our faith. The Shewbread in the tabernacle was a precursor to the Holy Eucharist. God instructed Moses to set upon the sacred table “loaves of proposition in my sight always” (Ex 25:30). This word “proposition” derives from the same as for the Mercy Seat on the Ark which the cherubim covered: propitiatorium, a place of atonement, of reconciliation, of soothing. Behind the visible bread is the invisible mercy of God. In Greek the “loaves of propostion” are called the “ἄρτους ἐνωπίους”, meaning “Bread of the Face”, as in “face-to-face”, Bread of a Personal Encounter (cf. LXX Gen 16:13; Ex 33:11; Prov 8:9). In Hebrew we have לֶחֶם פָּנִים לְפָנַי תָּמִיד , “the Bread of the Presence before My Face always” (Ex 25:30). The OT guides us to where God’s Face is to be sought: in the Holy Place, in church sanctuaries, in tabernacles.
@@ScriptureandTraditionFrJM : that is so beautiful, thank-you for taking the time to share that! We Catholics are the most blessed of all people; we have the Living God in our midst. I do pray for the Jews, that through the intercession of Our Lady, in the very near future, the veil will fall away from their eyes and they will see the Face of Jesus, their Messiah. Your books are on my reading list horizon.
Also, regarding the age of Abraham being 100 years old, in Biblical Hebrew, elef (100) also refers to eternity because in Judaic thought, there is no way to express a higher number in the Ancient language like we do today. The Eternal Father is eternal, and His Son becoming Incrnate entered time, hence 37 years old. Thank you for this added insight!
Hilarious start!! Pater. Had a good laugh there. Besides, thank you for ilustrating us about the Old Testament, we lack this teachings in the current days.
Thank you for all your clarity & intelligent insight into the most important virtues & prayers for the Truth. Please keep up these talks. Most excellent discussion & guidance.
You how things make sense years or decades after the fact? In 1978, I did some research to write a paper on the Hasidim in Brooklyn. As a result, I learned basic Hebrew and discovered I could understand Yiddish because of having spent five years among the Old Order Amish who speak Penna. Dutch, a Germanic dialect. I grew up in New York, so that accent was taken care of. Combine it with Yiddish and Hebrew, and I ended up understanding. I know what is 770, the Rebbe, (No, they’re still waiting, those who still think he’s the Moschiach. We Catholics had to wait only three days; they’ve been waiting 29 years!) Yes, I know about Kabbalah. It’s a form of spiritualism, not to be messed around with. When he said to take five minutes, he was actually elaborating on a verse from Tanya, a book of Kabbalah. Still, truth is truth. The devil knows and states the truth when it suits his end. What you’re seeing here and Fr. saw on the plane, is the “veil” spoken of by St. Paul, (II Cor. 3:15). It’s so obvious, yet not to them or their descendants as the result of their sin. In a sense, the rejection is to them, almost another Original Sin whose stain continues down the generations. Yes, the tuchus in your face was deliberate! 😮 When done to C by J, it’s a joke. When done to J by C, it’s an antiS hate crime!
Reminds me of the time we give united to the Holy Mass, even in the Little Way, which is the battle against self in giving ourselves in our duties and states in life. It reminds me also, that Rabbic Judaism is connected to Protestantism which comes from the separation of what would be the teaching of the religion of the True God in Moses to see Christ, but them choosing the teaching of Man in the talmud and soli scriptura because they have not accepted to see His Heart and His Church by the Holy Sacrifice and the Cross being the way to sacrifice our understanding to the Wisdom of the Divine, which is as the Rabbi said the Higher thing we can sacrifice, in the spiritual life in the way Christ has done something in Spirit and Truth. I do think this is so deep to do so is to remember that connection of John saying Behold the Lamb... We must give the Jews the same conviction, to not deny the Truth, but show them God's love by providing the Promise of the Sacrifice He Himself, to dwell amongst us and save us Himself which the Prophets foretold, and share this gift. God reward you Father.
We know how our Blessed Mother felt watching her Son be sacrificed, but do we know how God the Father felt? He seems to be left out of this. I know He and Jesus are One but still....
The hardheartedness of people in false religions makes it impossible to dialogue on theological issues socially. It has been my experience to stay quiet until the Holy Spirit leads them to you. It has been my experience that religious Jews hate the Catholic Church more than any other religion so it is best to let the Holy Spirit do the heavy lifting.
10:44 how do they expect to carry out the "3rd Temple " sacrifices without the Levitical Priesthood? They don't have the genealogical scrolls to know every descendant from the Tribe of Levi and whose family are ethnic semites or descendants of converts? Idk... I've always wondered just how they think they're going to pull it off exactly how the Old Law demanded? +God Bless.
They are training men now as Levite priests. The rabbis are lawyers so justify it 5 ways (😉). I write a bit about this in the next book: Crucifixion to Creation (25th March)
Fr. Mawdsley, hello again from Canada! Sorry to bother you, but where have you uploaded the Good Friday traditional prayers? I've searched a few videos, but you can easily tell me! Pax Christi.
Fr. JM, I presume you read Latin and seeing your love of the figurative language of Sacred Scripture, I bring to your attention the Medieval Dictionaries of Figurative Language composed by Rabanus Marius, Alan de Insulis, and the Gregorianum. These are to be found in the Migna and, if you have not already taken advantage of these, you will be forever grateful when you do.
Also very interested to hear more about Jesus being born in 4 BC and having been 37? If you can even comment back and recommend any resource I’d appreciate that. Thank you!
I often think that if Abraham had of sacrificed his son Isaac that it would have been sufficient atonement for him right there and then but not for all humanity for all time, yes it was a perfect act of love from him to God but it would not suffice for the atonement of all humanity.
Father Mawdsley, I was thinking about how their may be an archetype of the Jews rejection of Christ in the Old Testament narration of the Angels rejecting God. The angels were consecrated to God (as were Jews) and both were shown Gods plan. The angels who accepted His plan became part of the heavenly host. Those who rejected God (non-serviam) felt themselves too exalted to serve simple men. Ever since they have worked to undermine Gods plan. In a similar way, those Jews who accepted Christ became Saints while those who rejected Christ (a lowly Nazorean) and his plan to perfectly fulfill the covenant and also bring the lowly Gentiles into it, now emulate the fallen angels in disrupting Gods law and leading souls to damnation.
Rabbi Jason Sobel has a fantastic explanation on the Virgin Birth its detailed and he also speaks on The Seed of the Woman in Genesis. The Seed is Jesus .
I understand there are preparations for the Third Temple in Jerusalem- all the accoutrements have been made - and they've also obtained brown heifers without blemish.
Yes, much has been prepared. It might be, however, that claims about the red heifer and claims that they have men who can safely serve as "Levites" are all a bit of lawyer-speak. I mean, anything can be justified if your lawyers are capable enough! In any case, I think the project will press ahead regardless. It is by no means true worship, but it is very significant. It's a sign for us, and everyone will have to choose which way they go. God has everything in hand: His true Temple is Christ.
@@ScriptureandTraditionFrJM Reading these comments about the third temple reminded me of an article I read several months ago where the Israel government was testing the DNA all immigrants coming into Israel to verify their Jewish ancestry. It occurred to me that if their scientists have somehow isolated the Levite's DNA maybe that could be a way to identify some people that they could claim are from the line of Levi? Just a thought or maybe I read too much science fiction 😊
I wondered the same. Even if it cannot be done, that won’t prevent claims that it has been done. Or else, if it were possible to identity 12 general groups, however mixed up now, and one came out more defined than the others, it could be of Levi, as there were less cross marriages with other tribes from the priests. But I don’t think anyone is claiming DNA can carry such details of ancestry. In any case, they already have various legal arguments to get around it.
@@ScriptureandTraditionFrJMWell, Jews do make the best lawyers, in general! I’ve employed two of them, one to untangle a will, the other to sue a nursing home.
More precise when our Lord Jesus Christ's heart was pierced he was already dead but mary felt it .....which means one can see or have beatific vision only if he follows the dictum: ad Jesum per Mariam(genesis 3:15) The message of fatima is the all about this imitation of our lady her love for god ,a perfect self sacrifice which we gain when we have perfect devotion to her immaculate heart ... where our lords kingdom got established....still being established in every heart that believes this dictum and only through this dictum, one will attain salvation ....
Jesus did not die because His Heart was pierced, but because He died the infinite extent of God's love was revealed, of which the piercing of His Heart is the manifest sign. (Let me know if I said or suggested anything different in the video. Hope not.)
they read, and analyze but they don't see. so interesting. perhaps the veil is over those who are still in a bondage, due to lack of the sacrament of baptism, and falling off the scales.
I just saw your new video mentioning the reprint of the 1945 Saint Andrews missile. May I ask, does it retain "perfidious" in its translation of the Good Friday prayer? For a number of reasons I expect it doesn't but I've never been able to confirm.
I think it does if it’s pre-1945. I’d go check it, but the missal is in my truck. It’s 2:50 AM in my neck of the woods and I heard what was probably a bear poking around out there.
@@mariekatherine5238 Good luck with that bear. When you get a chance let me know about the 45 missile if you could. My research shows that the tampering escalated in 1937.
When the rabbi reads in Hebrew, he is reading from the Old Testament, as well as other books sacred to Judaism, the Midrash and Talmud. And when he speaks briefly in Hebrew, he is quoting a verse or two.
It seems so clear Jesus is the Messiah! Is it in Mt 10...Jesus prays, Father you have revealed these things to your little ones and have blinded the learned
But when she says, "I am the handmaid of the Lord. Be it done unto me according to Thy Word," doesn't the Virgin Mary really mean, "Whatever you want me to do for You, I am willing to do."
Is Rabbinic Judaism the legitimate continuation of Judaism? A Judaism which has no Temple to perform the bloody sacrifices as required by the Old Covenant? In fact, there is no sacrifice performed in Rabbinic Judaism. How is G-d to be worshipped quo G-d without a sacrifice as demanded by the Old Covenant? Sacrifice is the rightful worship given to G-d alone. We can give praise and glory to people, the heroes of our nations and cultures, but what is the only thing that can be given to G-d alone? It is sacrifice. Without sacrifice, there cannot be worship known as Latria. I would also point out that Rabbanic Judaism began around 170AD with the writing down of the Mishna by Judah haNasi, this form of non-Covenantal Judaism did not exist prior. Covenantal Judaism continues in the Catholic Church. IT IS THE COVENANT WHICH MADE JUDAISM, It is a covenant which made the Catholic Church. Jews were supposed to be a covenanted people. So if G-d is rejecting the covenanted sacrifice, something is wrong or changed for Jewish people. Behold the days shall come, saith the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:" [Jeremias 31:31] LXX Why with the House of Judah and not with all the tribes? Because Jesus is from the House of Judah and a direct descendent of David.
I have a question about the word "perfidious" in the pre-1955 liturgy. I don't question that it is the correct word, but I wonder why it's the correct word. If Jews are blinded to the truth, it seems that they are not perfidious (meaning treacherous, purposely unfaithful & deceptive), but just unintentionally blind. Maybe the prayer is referring there to those Jews who ARE intentionally treacherous, or to those Jewish leaders in the time of Christ who were intentionally treacherous. ???
It is just one among various reckonings from the rabbis. After Isaac's Binding (Gen 22), almost the next thing we hear is of Sarah dying aged 127 (Gen 23:1). She was 90 when she gave birth to Isaac. This makes him 37 at the time of his Binding. This is not cast iron, but perfectly credible. One can argue for other, younger, ages too.
The old testament is fulfilled, done, finished. Christ died to give us the new covenant which seems to get little attention these days, obsessing over the old testamet. Its a mere historiy story. I wouldn't even have a jew in my home as advised by Pius X
How can anyone believe the OT is "a mere history story" when it was written by God; and all the events related in it were arranged by God; and the saints we encounter there were made by God to lead us to Christ. To think the OT is "mere history" is to be spiritually deaf.
@@ScriptureandTraditionFrJM I actually believe the God of the OT is not the God of the new, neither was Jesus a jew, the two faiths have been cobbled together by Constantine, there is a bible by Marcionites whc is far more belivable than the jew cobblers.
If you think the God of the OT is not the God of the NT, then you are not Christian. Marcion is a heretic. It is perverse to follow him. But then, to say Jesus was not a Jew is perverse and idiotic thing, and doubtless leaves you wide open to Marcion's nonsense. The Church Fathers constantly praise the Saints of the OT for their fidelity to God. Below is one passage from St John Chrysostom, used for Lectio V of Matins on Day VII of the Octave of All Saints (7 Nov). If you reject what he writes here, you are rejecting Christ and the Saints. You're in a bad way. "It ought not to be hard for us to copy others, when we see what they of old time did without any examples before them, so that in them who copied not others, but set example for others to copy, and in us who copy them, and in them which take example by us, Christ may be glorified in His holy Church. Thus from the very beginning of the world there have been the harmless Abel who was slain, Enoch who walked with God, and was seen no more, for God took him, Noah who was found righteous, Abraham who was tried and found faithful, Moses who was the meekest of men, Joshua who was chaste, David who was gentle, Elijah who was accepted, Daniel who was holy, and the three Children who were victorious." (Serm. de Mart, quod aut imitandi sunt, aut non laudandi. Tom. 3)

Although this is the correct prayer, the translation has some slippage. I'll do a video in about it in the near future. God bless you!
God bless.

We hear it these days almost in a dismissive/"stop talking" sort of way.
Btw, my phone shows your name as מַרְגָּלִית (Margaret, or Pearl?). But the laptop does not. Phone is smarter than the laptop!
Love the name of your blog.

My real name is a diminutive of Margaret.
בבקשה ! I think there is a big switch coming... The current Church hierarchy don't seem to want Christ.

Thank you, Father Mawdsley. My RC Daily Missal does contain the original prayers for the Jews on Good Friday.
Fr Mawdsley thank you for explaining Abraham and Isaac, God the Father and God the Son. I feel like finding a very precious Jewel.

Wow!

Really great. Love listening to your insights. So beautiful... but that is because they are the thoughts and deeds of God you are explaining. Also, your point about the dangers of the Kabbala is spot on.
Scientology uses a fair share of Kabbalah, another way to know it’s not good.
That's a huge question about God's Face... Keep asking and I might try to make a video.

Btw, speaking of the Face of God, just editing this paragraph in book no.3 (Crucifixion to Creation):
The OT feeds our faith.

Blesse be the Name of Abba father, Jesus's christ our redeemer and holy spirit our justicfer.
I’m from Jersey. That was deliberate by the Jew on the plane
I just read Genesis 22 as part of my study and then this video popped up. Amazing coincidence.

The hardheartedness of people in false religions makes it impossible to dialogue on theological issues socially. It has been my experience to stay quiet until the Holy Spirit leads them to you.

I often think that if Abraham had of sacrificed his son Isaac that it would have been sufficient atonement for him right there and then but not for all humanity for all time, yes it was a perfect act of love from him to God but it would not suffice for the atonement of all humanity.
Right. Only One Who has descended (the Son) has the infinite power to rise and the infinite goodness to atone for all.
Abraham and Isaac is a premonition a prophecy of whats to come Jesus the Lamb will be Sacrificed.
More precise when our Lord Jesus Christ's heart was pierced he was already dead but mary felt it .....which means one can see or have beatific vision only if he follows the dictum: ad Jesum per Mariam(genesis 3:15)
The message of fatima is the all about this imitation of our lady her love for god ,a perfect self sacrifice which we gain when we have perfect devotion to her immaculate heart ... where our lords kingdom got established....still being established in every heart that believes this dictum and only through this dictum, one will attain salvation ....
As St Paul says Has God forgotten the Jews ? Of course not! He has blinded them for a time. Yes the Jews will convert after next war.
I wish I knew what they were saying.
Be it done unto me according to Thy Word," doesn't the Virgin Mary really mean,
"Whatever you want me to do for You, I am willing to do."
I think if you read "Judaism and the Vatican" you'll find we've had more than enough, more dialogue than we ever should have had.
Behold the days shall come, saith the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:" [Jeremias 31:31] LXX
Why with the House of Judah and not with all the tribes? Because Jesus is from the House of Judah and a direct descendent of David.
I have a question about the word "perfidious" in the pre-1955 liturgy. I don't question that it is the correct word, but I wonder why it's the correct word. If Jews are blinded to the truth, it seems that they are not perfidious (meaning treacherous, purposely unfaithful & deceptive), but just unintentionally blind. Maybe the prayer is referring there to those Jews who ARE intentionally treacherous, or to those Jewish leaders in the time of Christ who were intentionally treacherous. ???
The Jews will never see what they refuse to see. Sad.
30 Jews and a priest go on a plane….
Dovrebbero meditare il profeta Isaiah…
Why is it Isaac was 37 yo when he was scarificed?
It is just one among various reckonings from the rabbis. After Isaac's Binding (Gen 22), almost the next thing we hear is of Sarah dying aged 127 (Gen 23:1). She was 90 when she gave birth to Isaac. This makes him 37 at the time of his Binding.
This is not cast iron, but perfectly credible. One can argue for other, younger, ages too.
È veramente triste per gli ebrei ,non comprendono …
Tom. 3)
Why tradpriest say that Jesus was also a jew ?
