How To Remove a Stuck Locknut

- If you're replacing the toilet fill valve you are going to have to remove the locknut.
Over time the locknut becomes harder and harder to remove, and eventually you will not be able to twist it off, and you will have to resort to brute strength.
In this tutorial I show you a no frills, no nonsense method of removing a locknut...a method shown to me by a plumber!

Were you able to get the locknut off?
If you dented the wall, spackle and some touch up painting should fix it!
Btw, my toilet bowl had hand-tight nuts under the tank, you remove the nuts and you will able to lift the tank and move out to a more comfortable space outside the little space and use different types of tools to conveniently cut out the plastic lockout. I’m sure this removable nuts are right under all different types of flush tank

U could try a small grinding wheel or whatever
Sure, if I had an angle grinder (which is what you must have meant)…
However, the point of this channel is using what you have on hand to fix something.
Why spend $$ on an angle grinder when the hacksaw I have worked fine?
