I've seen on other para cord channels on how to make a gun sling, and their instructions are never as clear as the ones you make. If you could do a video of a wide, flat belt that would be a huge help to us diy hunters. Thanks and keep the videos coming!

Thanks, I have already made about 5 turkey totes and gave them to family and friends. I subscribed. When I put together the loop instead of squeezing with pliers I held it against a grinder so it was smooth. Great site!! Thanks again, David

gonna try and make this but longer in order to make my own turkey tote strap! I will definitely let you know how it works out!

I think this is what I'm looking for to make my own custom finger sling for archery. I just started making the Solomon knot bracelets a few days ago and really enjoy your instructional videos. I've done the MadMax bracelet in the Solomon knot and snake knot. Those are pretty cool and easy to make once you get the knot pattern down. Takes me about 5 minutes to make now. Again, great videos! Thanks!!

Excellent video. I subscribed and made my son and son in law a turkey tote as we are in the middle of turkey season in NC. Thanks David.

You do a great job making this easy to see and follow. Good job zooming in early, that really helped. Also a question. At the end are you melting ends and pressing into rest of the cord?

Thanks. Great video. I am going to use this concept to make a shoulder strap for a water bottle. May have to go much longer though. Any input on how much paracord I may need to do the strap is greatly appreciated

Very nice. I was wondering if this would be strong enough for an entry handle on my truck. The factory plastic ones are gone and I have two bolts. If the loops go over the bolts with a washer to keep them on, would that center be strong enough?

Shawn, I use this video to make keychains. My question is, if using two colors fused together for the Soloman, where do you hide the splice/fuse mark when you start weaving it around the outside of the center cords (orange in your video)?

One thing you can do when rolling your fingers melting the cord together is lick the tips of your fingers then pinch and it doesn't burn you fingers

Good how to. Quick question I'm about to make one of these for my binoculars and I wanted to.know how to find out how much para cord I need to make this for that size. I'm thinking about making mine 3ft

That's so funny!! I just did the same things about 2 weeks ago with almost identical colors. The only difference is I put some swivels & s-biner clip to hang my fly fishing stuff on it. Not that I thought I had an original idea or anything, but I have seen anything like it. Just figured out a way to fill a need. Now if you start making some of the other things I've been playing with, I'll be scared!! :) Good stuff!!

BoredParacord Mine is also 18" long but I made my loops bigger so that they fit over the buckles of my waders. I have also been playing with a lanyard. I have a s-biner on one end, a big loop on the other and swivels in the middle to hook to a belt loop or backpack etc.

If you tie a fishing lanyard for fly fishing.
You want to include snaps to hang tool off
How do you make the complete circle say about thirty fours inches from top to bottom?

Do you have any instructions on how to create a game (turkey) carrier? Basically two feet long with a single strand of paracord eight inches long at each end and a wide section in the middle, eight inches long and approximately one inch wide.

Hello, is it safe to just join the cord like that (2:00). Does it going to break easily?

    • @Overpet
      @Overpet 8 років тому

It's definitely a very weak point so you shouldn't rely on it holding if you were using it for something important. But if you fuse it thoroughly it will take a decent bit of weight before breaking.

Love It! Thank you! Please note; burning those lanyard ends, the fumes are highly toxic, more so for children and smaller bodied creatures. Won't bore you with the reasons, but it is also considered carcinogenic. Repeated it could add up - take good care.
