I got a W211 E500 recently. Did a full exhaust mod right away. The M113 sounds so damn good, especially on start up. Just sounds so big. Has a nice, raw old-school V8 gurgle, then at the top end of the rpms it has refined flutter. Love it!
You can actually just cut the wires off of the secondary o2 sensors, leave the o2 sensors in to plug the holes, and have them coded out so it doesn't throw a code - that's what I did on my E55 AMG with a full engine build, CP Carillo forged internals, etc..
@@ibbryant17 hey where is this shop ? I’ve been looking for a shop to take my car to so I can get my headers installed on my s500 and I know you’re in Arizona.
I just recently replaced the airmatic on mine with Arnott springs and the car rides so much better, ride quality is almost indistinguishable but when cornering it doesn't rock like a boat and feels much lighter in general. In case you ever consider that route it's worth it
I think I'm the only person with a topspeedpro1 exhaust and long tubes. When talking to them on IG they said they never heard their own exhaust with headers before
Hey I'm just seeing this. Sadly the e55 AMG exhaust won't fit your s500 but you can definitely get headers for an s class and put them on your car with some slight modifications
I completely forgot to respond to this. The s500 and e500 share an engine but the shape of the exhaust is completely different. If youre just looked for more noise go for either a muffler delete or s55/63 AMG muffler's. If you want performance get s55 AMG headers and have a custom exhaust made or find an s55 catback exhaust
I just got a 2005 e500 4matic. I want to get a custom exhaust system since there are no aftermarket setups for this car. How do I avoid a check engine light?
Hey man sorry just seeing this. If you're not looking for maximum performance keeping the factory cats is a must for no cel. If you delete the cats you can try an O2 sensor spacer or just tune out the cel like I did.

My friend describes my E500 as sounding refined. The E500 has some good gains when doing an exhaust too
@@ibbryant17 Absolutely, the thing flies!

I have the wires up out of the way and I'm tuned now so they are indeed coded out
I'm a brand new owner of a 2005 E500 Wagon. Hopefully to see more E500 content, subscribed!
Thanks and there will be more E500 content for sure

My rear passenger bag just started leaking. So I'll probably replace mine soon
It sounds awesome! Happy to see this done

Looks and sounds hella good bro. Its hot af everywhere in the US rn, 95 with 78% humidity here
Man Arizona is on like day 20 of 110+ but that should be ending soon for a couple days. We'll be having low 100s
@ibbryant17 damnnn you'll be in my prayers bro lol. Stay hydrated over there.
since the E500 and the S500 are the same thing would i be able to do this to my S500? i already have the AMG exhaust because i have the AMG package
Hey I'm just seeing this. Sadly the e55 AMG exhaust won't fit your s500 but you can definitely get headers for an s class and put them on your car with some slight modifications
But you can get a s55 amg exhaust or s63 exhaust and it’ll fit , it really comes down to welding it on there

I'm working on it lol. I gotta save up and get some mods/maintenance parts together. Stay tuned tho I'ma do some real cool stuff in the future
Will LTH headers for a N.A. 5.4 Amg or e55 fit a 2007 e550 ?
No the flange is different.
@@ibbryant17 but do you think they could be installed without fitment issues mating it to the manifolds ?
To install headers to have to remove the stock manifolds.
Does that add performance or hp
Both
Still got that stock exhaust? Lol
No I junked it lmao
@@ibbryant17 damn I’ve been looking everywhere for a stock exhaust. Welp, back to looking!
Any junkyard should have one. If I remember correctly e320 and e500 share an exhaust
