I was searching for quite the similar abilities, and the KTM Adventure that I bought eventually OUTPERFORMED my expectations by a lot! And all this for very little money. I ride it every day, and LOVE riding offroad - its insane how this machine can do BOTH so well!!!
What a great idea with regards to the skid plate. I didn't realize it had to be removed to do an oil change. Knowing that, and being in the market for a skid plate I think I'll get the T-rex! Thanks for sharing a very informative and useful video for one who owns a KTM 390 Adventure 🤙
Nice options and nice choice of small adventure bike. I'm planning on getting a 390 . I like the versys X300 gas tank 4.5 gallon and they come stock with spoke rims. But they 390 just has way to many better spec parts on them to go with the kawasaki. Inverted adjustable Forks, traction control quick shift and Auto blip better mid-range and more horsepower engine for the same weight bike. way better headlight, TFT display which is nicer than the versys. within a $1,000 price difference.
Can recommend a 110/80/19 TKC80 for the front and a 130/80/17 Motoz Treactionator Rallz for the rear. The rallz is a bit noisy on blacktop but that tyre combo is literally endless grip on dirt and loose marbly gravel.
Great video of accessories. Have you seen any decent lowering foot pegs in your searches, all I can find is some that lower 1/4-1/2 inch and I would like to go lower?
Great video. Can you give the exact part numbers for the fork guard and rear seat trunk. I could not find anythig on their website that resembles what you have shown or listed.
i think the 390adv might be my next bike , i am hoping i can keep riding my well set up husky 901 for a long time as the bike is pure magic but off road im already more often than not wishing i was on a lighter bike
Hey bro, you've perfected the bike. It looks great. I have a question about the footpegs you fitted, it looks like a nice cnc. What is your opinion about them?
They were an affordable solution that offered me a more stable wider platform. Although one of the brands with lifetime warranty would be more confidence inspiring.
Some nice ideas. Am curious about the foot guards on the clutch side some video shows the aluminum covers up the brake rod time lapse 4:34/6:38 then other parts of your video time lapse 5:31/6:38 its not there. Did you cut the aluminum off?. Thanks great job .Scott
That Leo Vince exhaust sounded terrible, perhaps it sounds better without the DB Killer? Just a word of advice, once place you don't want to cheap out on is foot pegs, that is the last thing you want to break on you while you are riding - worst than a tire blowing out at high speed.
Good feedback on both. Yes, I'm sure without that DB killer it will sound better. My next project has it removed. On the pegs, I opted for something bigger, quick, and cheap - until I upgrade. Again, my next project has nice quality.
@@RidesDoneRight ok sweet, do you guys have a link to that video. I am considering either the t Rex or black dog cycle works plate because they are the only ones I've found that aren't mounted to the motor, but I already have the Ktm power parts crash bars, the t Rex has that access panel for easier oil and filter changes though
The point of bike modification and self customisation is utilisation of personal time and money, basically speaking it's not about the money, it's the satisfaction derived from modifying your own bike with the specs and thing you personally connect with rather than random suggestions after personal research and etc, many PPL prefer to spend their time and money on things such as travel and etc this is comparatively the same, its a serious hobby with an amazing satisfaction value, I personally have a ktm adv 390 2022 as well and I too have purchased and installed the Leo vince exhaust on it directly from the Leo vince website along with a powertronics ecu and a fuel x controller and am now looking to update my graphics and if I can somehow with some miracle get enough money to get the tubeless wire spike rims for it, which cost nothing less than a kidney here in India I would love to do all of it, I am taking it slow, but it's about every persons personal hobby to derive happiness from, I really appreciate the guy who made the video, this is the first time I came accross his video and will defo subscribe and like it cause he thinks like me when it comes to quality of thing, for example the Leo Vince exhaust, here in India if you buy it in the open market you can probably get it for half the price but it's defo gonna be a fake, so I pain a bomb to get it directly I ported from Poland but it was worth every single rupee or penny or quarter spent. I hope my reply can help you understand what the point of the video is, I too understand your comment and would completely agree with it in your context and do thank you for your perspective, but when you are talking about a passionate hobby, it's too subjective to impose personal views, for example I am struggling like crazy right now just to be able to get rims which are worth 35% of the value of the entire bike just cause I want to, but in the end I will get satisfaction from it. It's hard to explain but yeah

Perfect video for me, thank you! I plan on 50/50 usage as well

Hi ! Great videos for all best accessories. Do tout eventually have the reference for the high fender ?
Thanks !

I found the parts. Thanks again for sharing your upgrades..

My windshield came without instructions, so thanks for the guide
I have the Dunlop Trailmax Mission 50/50 tires. I love them.
Great video. Can you give the exact part numbers for the fork guard and rear seat trunk. I could not find anythig on their website that resembles what you have shown or listed.
Some great finds. Thank you

I love every one of your mods!!!
Where did you find the factory plastics in white? I REALLY like the look! Nice job with the whole bike
They are OEM, I got them direct from KTM and they came with the OEM decals on and clear coated
Thanks I have been looking around too. I did put the Powermadd hand guards all black on with the signal/LED lights. Looks righteous!@@RidesDoneRight
Interesting video! The front fender kit, what company is that?
Tusk
Curious if the high fender works with the trex crash bars? Thanks
Wow, you’ve done just about everything you can on this bike. I’ve done quite a bit too, I’ll be coming out with a video as well.
Will C-racer products ship to usa just wondering. Thank you brother great video God Bless and stay safe
They did to me - in Oregon

Cheers. What front hi fender did you choose?
Can you post a link for that exact high fender? Thanks
Adventure KTM bikes has hard rear suspension many says is it correct. Suspension best or worst?
Best, for me

The earlier photos reveal when I put them on the wrong side. Our website shows them correctly in the photos.
Get the Fuelx system.
I have the pro. More low end and smooth response.

Useful
I see in the pictures that the Trex skid plate does for on the bike with the OEM/powerparts crash bars, is this correct?
It fits, but you have to grind part of the upper left flange flat. There is a video online that shows how to do it.
@@RidesDoneRight ok sweet, do you guys have a link to that video.

Do the new handgaurds catch the windscreen
No
Compelling upgrades
Any new radiator protection with the new mud guard?
That bug eye headlights have to go!

Motoz
I think you're messing too much with the 390. Stay stock as much as possible, save money and time.
This is a video showing accessories... if I didn't mess with it there would be no video.

He’s not modifying it in hopes of increasing the value he’s modifying it to make the ride more enjoyable for him
