I wouldn't even want to take that bike in the dirt because it looks so damn nice! I'd just ride it around town and sit in the garage with a beer and stare at it :-)
I keep my ninja 400 in the house I have a video of it on my channel it's showroom quality with like 1500$ in mods, pearl paint, the most expensive and rare color they made!
I just traded in my Tenere for a nicely set up CRF250L. Being winter here, I've only done short rides on the 250l but I'm loving it. Spent 2 seasons on Tenere, so I feel i gave it a fair shot, 23k kms. No regrets downsizing.
I know it doesn't seem to make sense but your front brake line should run behind your fork instead of the front. The length of it is cut so that it won't get tangled up in your wheel and if it's on the inside of the fork it won't get snagged by a limb. If you look at a brand new one or in a service manual it is routed behind the fork. Just FYI.
Some good choices. But I'd ditch those street mirrors and get a set, or just one (left side), Double Take mirrors. If you don't want to spend 60 bucks the Emgo enduro mirror is an excellent choice for under 20. The mirrors on your bike are going to get ripped off on that first real crash.
Enjoyed the vid. I have done most of those mods. If you're serious about going off road you'll need to improve the suspension front and rear. Also the Acerbis frame guards are good to stop your boots rubbing thru the paint. I also added a gear indicator and USB socket on my 2013 L.
I just mentioned the things I've done that beginner riding might prioritize. My 2019 has the spring swap in the front, but nothing serious. I've been eye balling frame guards and will likely switch them at some point.
@@RidesDoneRight MOVE the front brake hose to the inside of the fork lower leg!! NOW! It can quite easily get damaged on the outside and you don't want that.... Cheers and take care!
Seat height? Drill another hole above the lower shock mount hole and raise the forks! Those fancy levers will snap off, i snapped the weld on the brake lever pivot after spearing a dog, the oem ones bend straight using simple tools in the toolkit. Big pegs? Wait till you ride through a rock garden or need to drag it out of a swamp. Drilling through the brush gaurds to mount mirrors? Scarey if you go down hard. I get 240km per tank @ hard enduro speed and i carry most of my gear over the headlight which ive disabled on main beam, theres nothing on the back to catch my boot if i need to dismount quickly. But yours will definately beat mine in a beauty padgent. :)
What about the Power commander thats plugs in under the seat ? I got a FMF Muffler & the Power Commander & then the bike came alive ! It had way better throttle response !
I got the 2020 CRF -250 LA . I will get those Hand Guard's & a Bigger back gold sprocket for the trails & dirt . I might even get the FMF header pipe next & put the FMF Muffler on that !
@@RidesDoneRight I had emailed them but they never got back to me yet. I also have a 2016 model. I seen they had them for the 2017-2020 models didn’t know if they were only for those models.
I got them on eBay - they make convex and non... or you can get the best which cost much more (I'm running the best on my Africa Twin in the 2021 video series)

Thanks for that tip! I'm going to change that.
I made that change last week... I am just realizing how many photos show that line wrapping around - I will be updating those throughout this year.
Also the exhaust wrap has been started from the wrong end as this way can cause wind too always be trying to unwrap it .. nice bike though ❤
I went with acerbis plastic skid plate for mine. Happy with it, run it on rocks and logs and barely gets scratched. You have a pretty sweet setup 👍👍👍
Installing a skid plate this weekend. I'll update the info and photos on the website.
Love that TBR exhaust … Sharp ! 😎
I bet it’s Great for street, but staying Quiet in the woods ….. 🤔
Nice video. Very professional. Good Choices. I recommend the flatland skidplate. That's what I put on mine.
I recommend the Trans Nzoia bashplate
Wow, this bike looks amazing. Well done Sir
Excellent Video, You Rock it! would love to have some information for the CRF 300 Rally as well

@@mabecka Thanks. I moved it behind when I made some of the latest mods. Newer photos on our website should reflect that.
@@RidesDoneRight You have chosen wisely..... ;)
Best mods , suspension, clutch judder spring removal, and 42 rear sprocket
I have many of those mods. I love my seat concepts seat and I did get the moose lowering link. Just put on a full fmf w/ ejk. Feeling good!
I added the lower seat this weekend and updated photos and info on my website.
Great review
Nice setup
Ride on
Great video, but the music is too loud.
I sure wish you could find a link to buy those mirrors.
Any updates here, like tires and the brands you went with that are not listed on your site like the radiator guard?
The website has additional upgrades I did in 2021... look for more info on the site later in the year.
hey, what are those adaptors to attach the mirrors to the hand guards?
please send me a link or details where did you buy this accessories from . Thanks
Greetings
Do you have a video how to thermal wrap your exhaust system? 🇺🇸🎉🍾🇺🇸

nice bike, but so sad that it has no power at all, missing 100 cm3
Good video 👍
What's on your exhaust pipe?

Hola, donde puedo comprar esos espejos. Gracias
I love my crf250l but I think I’m gonna sell it and get a cbr500r and eventually get a 450l
Cbr 500? Terrible stay with the honda crf alot more fun
I cant find the fastway pegs, i only see the angled option for the adventure pegs
With the larger fuel tank do you have a link to the tank with the stock locking cap I can’t find any tank even like that ?!??!
You have to contact IMS directly - to order the tank.

@@ronniesamsel2224 They may not offer it for the older ones. If email didn't work, I would call them (some times emails get caught it spam filters).
@3:34 Because loud pipes smoke weed. ;)
@9:04 Nah, because the standard seat is not dwarf friendly. ;)
No Headlight protection?
Added a guard this week, photos and info will be on the website plus I will have a video showing all the new stuff at some point this season.
Could you share link to mirrors?
eBay
what mirrors are those?

4:52... One inch balls.
WHAT no USB port...
That bike now costs the same as a ktm
Wow.....a ton of shit hanging off the handlebars
Advertising! : (
If going for a ride meant having all.that shit hanging of your handle bars....how can you enjoy proper riding...I'd stay home an watch tv

Loud pipes are terrible and give motorcycle riders a bad image.
