Jan your cockpit pan/zoom technique is excellent. What is your hardware/keyboard setup for that? I would even enjoy a quick video on how you use yours hands and tools to move around the cockpit so fluently. I think it's essential technique for enjoying a plane as deep as this one. Great work IXEG team.

+X-Plane Aviation We definitely didn't promise, but a few months ago, I did say 'we would find a way to get it out in 2015'...and we didn't. I'm sorry for that. We believe a tiny bit longer will yield a more worthwhile version 1 product.
qqqqhuz I was just asking. You know, the EADT x737 new version with a full 3d cockpit and custom FMC is completely freeware, so I think that it's gonna be kinda hard for this aircraft to compete with a fully free 737NG. And EADT has been working on their x737 for longer than 6 years. Just sayin' :)
Completley freeware is incorrect. The FMC costs 20€/25USD (ufmc.eadt.eu/Universal_FMC/compra_x737_FMC.html). And about the other stuff - i haven´t seen any pictures of the upcoming version. However, judging by what is availble so far, the IXEG seems far superior to me. But nobody dislikes freeware, so I´ll give it a shot as well, once its released ;)
Carlos Vasconcellos yes it does not work very well.. autothrottle is kinda buggy in vnav mode as it has problems with wind compensation for example. We just prefer LNAV and vertical speed
+PilotsTubeHD You are totally right. Some even refer to it as the "magic button" - you never know what you get! Nevertheless, it is an integral parto of the real aircraft´s FMS and most flightsimulator users are fascinated and intrigued by it, so obviously we have to get it right!
FEVB know idea never tried but with my luck it wont . anyway some linux compatible planes and airports dont work so probobly not. Sorry for my bad english im german
Please implement a whell-mouse for the rolling knobs. The "hold and drag" way of doing it in X-Plane is just plain horrible.

It's bit funny / interesting that the 737 will never pass the MCP altitude, while the MD80 happily flies straight through, if it's not armed :)
A bit like the Q400, not the same manufacturer so different philosophy
