Finally a real world example! Usually this bad quality of the green screen. shutter problems, ect..ect. Thank you for very detailed solution. Excellent!
Amazing tutorial. i said to my client: "We have a hair problem with chorma key. I will need 3 hours more to fix this, so ll cost more." - he said: "forget it"
there is so still many things needed to adjust even though it's on the chromakey background. WOW.. It's fully helpful for me to understand the process of keying. Not easy easy. I will buy plugin.
Just out of curiosity, what framerate was the original footage in? I would have shot it higher and then rendered down to 24 after all was done. Seems like its already at 24 or 29 bcause of the crazy motion blur
Hello! It's called the Composition Profiler and you can access it by right clicking on the Timeline column and choose "Render Time" We have made a tutorial covering it here: ua-cam.com/video/v4ObCqwolQA/v-deo.html
Hello! The masks are to isolate the key layers. So I can create multiple keylights with each layers focusing on different parts of the shot I explained it on my 5 Keying Tips tutorial here: ua-cam.com/video/EFObhiIwYLg/v-deo.html Let us know if you have more questions!

If you are referring to adding a green screen footage to a moving 3D background, the most easiest way to do it is to import the 3D camera data to After Effects, or you can use the After Effects camera tracker. And then you want to turn the green screen layer as a 3D layer and position it in 3D space! -Danasa
@@ActionVFXofficialhi guys am from India. Am a VFX Artist and director. thank you for responding., your videos and website are really inspiring. I downloaded your free assets. Great video, love the breakdown! Btw, do you have any tips on removing a 'non greenscreen background (as my space/greenscreen sometimes runs out with long objects/bigger scenes). I am assuming you can only manually key it?, or are there some better ways (especially for tricky parts as hair)
By far the best keying tutorial I’ve ever seen. Great job.
Aw! YOU're the best! Thank you for watching!

Still very new to all this, can you give a very brief explanation as to why you draw so many masks around the subject at each point?
Hello! The masks are to isolate the key layers. So I can create multiple keylights with each layers focusing on different parts of the shot
I explained it on my 5 Keying Tips tutorial here:

Is there anyway to bring the shadows on the ground back?
Yes! We have a tutorial dedicated on preserving green screen shadow here:

it takes a year until you're done with the chroma
Thanks for a excellent tutorial. It is useful if you give access to the video used in this work to replicate it.

great! now i also use topaz enhance AI to denoise and remove compression artifacts and get 10bit from 8bit
Nice one. How one would approach such a thing when there is a person walking into a parallax situation?

Not easy!!!!!
Is this more efficient than rotoscoping?
Depends! There is no right way to do things in VFX, but for this specific shot we would say it is much more effective to key than rotoscoping.
thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great tutorial and very well explained.
This is lit technique.
Thank you for watching!
Roto works faster. :)
