This useful 'How To' will provide a complete guided walkthrough on the steps required to release the metal window regulator panel behind a VW T6 Door card and will show you 'How To' support and secure the window so that you are able to complete any interior Sound Deadening or replace the window mechanism.

00:00 - Start of Video.
Step 1 - 00:23 - Introduction.
Step 2 - 00:57 - Tools You'll Need.
Step 3 - 01:59 - Removing the mini grommets and loosening the 10mm Bolts.
Step 4 - 03:42 - Securing the window with Duct Tape or an official tool.
Step 5 - 05:40 - Removing the 10mm bolts around the regulator panel.
Step 6 - 06:25 - Removing the panel and internal fixings/plugs.
Step 7 - 09:42 - Sound Deadening Completed - Reconnecting the plug and securing the metal panel.
Step 8 - 12:17 - Double-check connections - Instructions are given for the next process.
Step 9 - 13:04 - Winding up the regulator to reconnect with the glass, removing the duct tape and securing the window by tightening the 10ml bolts back up.
Step 10 - 15:21 - Closing run-through and sign-off.

Really informative, thanks. I have a question? Surely double layering the insulation adds a lot of weight to the doors, by the time its added throughout the vehicle, there must be a significant increase in weight?

You broke the plastic joint to the door mech! You need to remove the lock mech at the same time
