I'm just glad he's still out there breathing. keep doing what you know Carl. respect.
I waited 10 years for this ? Just a simple lyric, simple music, simple everything. I miss brothers wright !!!
Always love the bass punching through the mix. Great to hear Tony again. That tone is a staple Neph sound, and no matter the current state of the guitars, I can dig it. And Carl. There's always Carl.
Tony??
wtf?? yeah I love it
Too metal. This should really be under The Nefilim name. Nod, Peter and Paul would never play like this
Be very assured that Tony is not on this...
@@archstanton3468 How can you be sure of it?
The Lords have returned. "Prophecy" combines the new and the old. It's fresh and at the same time forged by the Nephilim magic of old times. The song works out perfect at live shows too. Great for the pit. The Greek Neph Legion salutes you!
+Gothic Crypt Yes!! Well said!! Hope they visit Greece soon!!!
The Greek Neph Legion...
Μακάρι αδερφέ... Για να δούμε... Ω! Μακάρι φίλε μου να τους δούμε σύντομα...
Αν και δεν το βλέπω τόσο εύκολο... Τι να πω... Ευχή και Θέληση μαζί...
They've still got it. Looking forward to more to come. :)

Thanks Saint Patrick to help Mr McCoy giving us such treat finally!
the magic and mystery is back with a vengeance. strong song love it!
This is the best song I've ever heard.
Same here
Yup
You'll love Killing Joke then 🙂
My take at lyrics:
Fields of the Nephilim
"Prophecy" (Solar Vision)
Yeeeaaahh!
Let the fire burn...
Let the fire breathe...
Like a thousand suns...
Into eternity...
Burn...
Burn...
I will burn
Come on!
(Come on)
Bring it on!
(Bring it on!)
Yeeeaaahh!
Feel the spirit rise...
Illuminate as one...
Look into my eyes...
(Eyes)
Just to let it come...
(Just to let it come)
Burn...
Burn...
You will burn!
Too late!
(Too late)
To know!
(To know)
Now I'm there!
Prophecy...
Why I see...
You're not there!
Prophecy...
All I say...
You're not there!
(Mumbling):
Don't need to care...
Follow me...
Enlighten us...
Burn!
(Burn)
Burn!
(Burn)
Ahh...
Let the fire burn
Prophecy...
Why I see...
The fire breathe!
Prophecy...
What I say...
I will burn!

@@omarb.8385 thank you, brother
An absolutely belting, pulsating, cracking tune!
So many years I've waited for this! Can't wait to hear the whole album!!!
Lol and still waiting.
Same here in 2024 🫡
Yes!!!! the preacher man is back !
Thank you guys for the Fantastic LiveShow in Köln !! Prophecy was so unbelivable great Live. !!! Really!!
You're pathetic.
Finally we're hearing something from the fields of the nephilim
Glorious! Looking forward to the new album.
7 years since your comment and we're all still waiting
don't understand the hate, this song is lit
Awesome post Tzugaris!
some so called hard-core fans are just butthurt like that when it comes to new material...
Mephistozygote the change is somewhat dramatic.
FANTASTIC !!! Listen to the song very often, see you live in Köln 19.03.
Great Carl Mccoy and company is back! Nice for me to hear this sound!!!!
Everything about this song is so bog standard yet it's so awesome and fun
I listen to this and I can see my 18 year old self, freaking out to it on the dance floor back in 1989.
old rust mixed with fresh blood..... SINsational purrrfection! bon appetite my fiends
Thanks for posting this. Had no idea it had been released!
we are lucky, it is.
Very good, very good song, without losing the essence of the eighties
Where is the new album?!
Wow! Haven't heard Fields since a (to) long time....and within seconds I love that sound again. Fantastic!!! 👏🖒👏🖒
Amazing. Yesterday, I was looking at hip hop, metal or wrestling videos here on youtube and this video appeared on the recommendation scroll to the right of my screen. I just remembered to check the video out today. Long Live Fields Of The Nephilim.
Forever remain! We are Re-born!
Great Stuff! More!
Forever remain Fields of the Nephilim ♡
excellent morceau j adore
Good message
This does sound good, not like the original albums as some people are saying but leaning towards Zoon. Quite upbeat and metal but still dark enough to please my goth side. It kinda reminds me of NFD. Looking forward to hearing more.
Hello 👍 excellent et puissant FIELDS of the NEPHILIM 🌾⭐⭐🌙 🌎
Old meets the new..... thats Evolution
I wish they'd bring out a new CD. Or at least an EP.
By the way: still killer on stage.
I have waited a very long time for this and it doesn't disappoint 😎
Yessss !!!!
Wow! This does sound like a lost track from "Dawnrazor" doesn't it!!
why such negative comments?
I, like most, have all fotn stuff, and I really like this - but for me mourning sun is probably my all time fave, and as this is'nt a million miles away from that.....I hear a bit of trees come down in this too....pretty decent release all in all....just waiting for the new album now....hopefully on viny....and speaking of vinyl.....get mourning sun realeased on it!
Ahhhhh ... Fields ❤
It's great. And it gives hope for a good album to come. FOTN forever, but never turn down to you origins!
Spectacular, i'm glad y'all are back...
Why is Tony not on this
This is great stuff
I hope they rerecord some of their older stuff, it's so good but mostly such bad audio quality. Reminds me of bathory, so good, such shit audio it's a shame. Zoon was pretty well recorded and sounds great on a good stereo
que ilusión disco nuevo amo a fields este año iré a ver vuestro contundente directo Dios k buenos sois....
love the old stuff. this is mince !!!!! last exit for the lost ,,,,,,,,,,
More videos would be nice
Excelent ! Complete album, please :-P
Carl en grande forme ! ça déchire. un son fabuleux. vivement la suite :-)
This is fantastic.
No complaints here. This is objectively a great track.
fuck yea! it sounds like all the eras of the field of nephilim in there, early stuff, zoon stuff, and even mourning sun vibes but i especially dig the metal side
Red 777 v. 2.0 in the truest meaning, great track, great quality
AMAZING!!
This is the best green beer day in history!
I like the drums only. It sounds like early 90's black metal demo tape. It may resemble Phobia or Penetration, but it's not comparable. However, I'm waiting for the new album.
Good luck with that!...
Good stuff
Finally!
YES!
I can say, right, it's not like Fields of the Nephilim, but instead of saying about "good old Nephilim", objectively say: it's good. It's really good, if we forgot about fact that it's FotN. It's nice gothic rock going to metal, the riff is strong and the vocal fits in nice way. Remember, guys, there was something like The Nefilim, and it was more metal than original Fields - so the Fields also can go this way. Who don't go forward, go backward.
I totally agree. There is no Fields without Nod, Paul and Perter. This should be released under The Nefilim name
Yeah look at Judas Priest - they did concept albums and were exploring their genre. Bands should explore and do whatever feels right because listeners will click with that whatever when it is relevant to them.
@@kuggurart6730 No, instead there's Rubicon, sad, flat and boring. At least Carl kept it alive, even with this. I agree with you about the Nefilim release; would've been more fitting.
SEEEEE
I only know Mourning Sun from 2005 - now when I listen to this song right here I realize it's totally different from that but I like it.
The sound is reminiscent of tracks across several albums, from Dawnrazor to Zoon. I do miss some of the "Spaghetti Western Gothic Rock" elements of the first two albums. What I really hope to hear (that was not revealed in Prophecy)...powerful lyrics, delving into the darker, hidden realms, with inspiration drawn from HP Lovecraft, Thelema, Alistair Crowley, Mesopotamian mythos... McCoy brought a whole new dimension to Gothic Rock, beyond epic stage theatrics and vocals that inspired the black metal/gothic metal sub-genre that followed. I'll still keep my fingers crossed that this rather "generic" track teaser was a label management decision, in the hopes of drawing the broadest possible audience.
love it! sounds like 1st album + little bit of Zoon
Still alive! Great!!!
Awesome! Welcome back!
i hope there will be more stuff coming up soon...
Sounds like NFD now! Not bad at all!
when new album???
LOL! That's about right.
🤘😣🤘
YESSS
Finaly!!!
good ! and... the album please ? ^^
i liked
that was a pleasant surprise! do they have any more "new" songs/albums like that?
I'm still waiting for more. This is good but... it so short!
It will be good, keep it up!
Its a new album coming? Anyone knows about it?
Ha, Ha, probably another decade before we see that...
@@solinvictus39 That soon?
Masterpiece.
Illuminate as one :)
¿New Album? When...............
The other new track (which was played live) is much better than Prophecy IMHO. Still hope that it will be released "shortly". :-)
:777:
Yes! F.....g awesome track!
Lovely !!!!!
Something is not Wright.
+ Solid and cool.
- Guitars like Billy Duffy from The Cult in Sonic Temple and double pedals on drums?
- Did Tony do this bassline? Had he a broken hand and only one string left?
- Lyrics? Is that McCoy?? Not very deep.
It is heavier and different than they classic sound, but i like it and glad that they return )
Come back to Norway!
Bad ass love these dudes!!!!!
JUST GREAT
The good and old Fields.
the good and old fields? I bet you start listened to Neph's with ''Mourning Sun'' LP..
Legend!
great stuff as always
Good Song...
great!
Still waiting for more...
I do love this song, by the way.
FotN ends with Elizium (1990), bc after it, all rest of the band quits. Sorry to dissapointed you all,but that's the harsh truth.
Mourning Sun(2008) stands just with them. This is the sweet truth.
Would be cool to see them do something like Zoon again.
Love it!
