FINALLY someone who does far away shots for the watch reviews. Do it more in your reviews. Thank you!
Every time I check out one of your vids, I'm always blown away by your editing skills. The wrist shot comparison in the middle was well appreciated. The intro song and the outro song always make your videos so clean and tidy. Love the macro shots, and the way you talk throughout. Really like that you give both facts and your personal opinions. Wrist shots, accuracy test, everything. You are a true gem in the watch youtube space.
The blue is mesmerizing. I applaud your "secret measurement" bezel diameter measurement, now the second person wrist shot. You could actually see how it looks on you, great job!
Man these far away wrist shots are just what the doctor ordered. I think they are the best visualisation of how a watch will fit. Keep up the fine work!!!
Looks lovely. I saw one in a shop yesterday and was surprised how much I like it. It doesn't look too big on your wrist either.
Great video, great watch, and when you did those far away shots I subscribed. Excellent concept!
Beautifully done. Thank you ! I’m sold !
Enjoy!
Those faraway wrist shots are genius!
I stand with you for a 39 model! Great content as usual. Love this Longines and need one blue dial into my collection. Cheers
Right on!
Alright Mr Forearm Model, nicely done! Of those 3 shown, I really like the Legend Diver the best. I may have to start shopping. Thanks.
Great video. Love how you put it together. It may be a quirk , but I like to see watches in natural sunlight. Adding some external, full daylight shots wearing the watch would be awesome - and also distinguish your channel from others. Have a great day.
Great tip!
watching those distance wrist shots....I'm realizing how GOOD the MM200 looks on my wrist. haha! Wow Wears so GOOD!
@@Qieqi spb185 mod with spb187 bezel and insert on it. I have a video on it.
Reminds me of my SPB089. This is also a very nice watch, historical facts are the corner stone of great reviews. Keep it up.
Thanks, will do!
Es una chulada de reloj , el dial azul, tamaño 42m. bien , todo es un reloj muy guapo. Ubiera sido perfecto 39, 40 mm.
It really POPS on the wrist...Gorgeous piece!!
I think so too!
Amazing watch! The quality is obvious, but the design is probably the best for a vintage style watch. And agree, trying a 39 would be just great.
Thanks for watching!
I have the red dial version and threw on a deep red leather strap. Love it.
A great video. This watch is already on my radar, as are a couple of others by Longines. A hard decision as I cannot justify or afford all 3, The others are the sector and tuxedo small seconds. This one is a very different watch to the others. It's times like this I need a 3 sided coin, or just use a dice :-). I need to see all 3 side by side at the AD.
What a beautiful watch!
Beautifull blue dial. I much prefer this on the mesh bracelet. Great review!
Thanks for watching!
I have the green bronze - wish I had all em
Great video 📹 👍! Awesome watch ⌚! I want it! And the blue bigeye chronograph! I love blue longines! I love my VHP GMT 43mm blue on blue!
Very nice!
Great vid! As always
Glad you enjoyed!
Awesome comparison with the long range view. Even the mm200 looks great on you!
It really cups the wrist and is very comfortable the mm200
Great watch for value
I really love this watch. Thx for the review. At the moment torn between this or a Sinn U1 or Sinn 104 white.
Welcome! GL with choice!
Got this exact watch (blue) last month and so pleased with it. Looks fantastic and comfortable to wear.
Think I will change the strap though to a black vintage look leather. Blue strap is nice but black I think will be a bit dressier.
Also, where did you buy the baseball cap?
Same. I have mine on a brown strap and will pair it with a black one soon.
Love this watch! Been wanting to get the original black one but now I'm torn.
man its the blue for sure!
42 mm fits nice on your 6.5" wrist. I have the same.
I also like 42 mm diameter watches.
Very nice!
Please Longines do a 39 mm for this beauty! It will sell like crazy! That is a real beauty!
It's a stunner. The best colour. Depreciation is a bit scary if you ever want to sell.
Yes if you are a flipper it might be. But these are lovely keepers.
I have a black one and I can say the wingspan is too long for my 7" wrist. I'd welcome a 39mm version.
the 39 mm version with the grain of rice bracelet will be released in the coming days.. the site is under maintenance...👍
I sure wish they could shorten those lugs. Very similar to the Vintage remake of the Alpina Diver
🔥🔥🔥🔥
FIREEEE
I have a 7.25" wrist. I can't decide between this and the 42mm Blue Longines Spirit? I already own the Blue Longines Spirit Chronograph (42mm). Please advise :-)
Definitely this
@@EscapementWatch I appreciate your time, input and certainty!
@@EscapementWatch May I ask why such a certain answer 🤔? Thanks
Looks stunning on your 6.5in wrist. Do you think it would still be good on my 6.1in wrist?
Get the 36mm
@@EscapementWatch Thank you. I’m yet to see them in person but based on the lug-to-lug width of the 36mm, it might be a lot smaller than I prefer. Plus I truly love the dial design on this one that I would probably want the bigger dial. I foresee the bigger version on my wrist would be okay when worn with a nato strap. I just wish they have a 38mm version of this.
for my 6.5inch wrist I have gotten used to 36mm as long as the lug to lug is 43-45mm with a large dial it has tons of presence. my 36mm grand seiko from the 60s wears like a 38mm. It is a gem! I think this watch will have similar effect. I might buy the 36 as well if they make a no date or date at 6 oclock in the future
that center blue, center blue, blue.
Thank you for showing it with your smaller wrist size. Do you think it is possible for you? It looks like it is...
Yes, it is. But for my tastes I prefer smaller crystal/dial look on wrist.
It looks very nice on you from a distance even though its 42mm ..
Yes, true. The thin profile helps alot.
Definitely a great watch & very good value. However I think the Black Bay 58 is the best value proposition under $5,000 which will retain value better than the Longines & fit on smaller wrists. Do you have any plans to review a Chewda? I believe this is your nemesis brand ;-)
But the 58 is a lot more then this legend diver especially if you get a discount. Which on the tudor you probably will pay RRP. I do not have access to any chewda's unfortunately. Nemesis brand lololol My sponsor is trying to become a Tudor AD so one day I might gain access. If that happens I can review them objectively and I'll leave my thoughts out of those reviews lol. Otherwise they wont lend in the watches lol.
@@EscapementWatch You're right really, I was being a bit provocative in suggesting the Tudor is better value lol. Would be good to see you review one though, lets hope Kavar are successful in becoming an AD for them soon!
This watch, like many a Longines, is close to perfection but fatally flawed below the waterline. I bought a Longines Spirit 40mm late 2020. I loved the quality and the price. It ran very well and I enjoyed wearing it but I couldn't wear it all day long because of the leggy lugs. They are just too long and the same issue applies here. Plus it is far too big at 42mm. If they cut 2mm off the lug to lug and dropped the case size to 39-40mm they would have a total winner. I would be right there banging on the ADs door. Please Longines when you can do so much right why screw it up with some idiotic errors. Listen to people like me, who have bought your watches and would buy again and do what we ask.
Where can I buy the longines hat
No idea. I got it from kavar. You get them when you buy special edition longines.
Better have a large flat wrist if you want this one. looks nice though
yep
I just bought the 39mm today! What an incredible watch for $2700!
Very nice! I hope to check it out in the upcoming months when Kavar receives them. Congrats bro!
I've always like the Legend Diver, but I can't get pass the poor lume performance.
fair enough I can see it being a deal breaker for some
Do the lugs snag long sleeves? Some guy on YT complained about that.
Smart original design... Surprised no one has copied their'inner bezel" designs.
No chance of bezel getting caught on clothing.. Getting lo
I want to love this watch. I really really do. But the hands.....the hands are simply terrible. but what a body......
The Orient RA-AA0D01B1HB .. has a propper crowns aligned at 2 and 4, also the date at 3 ... This LONGINES is very unbalanced for this luxury brand , looks a copy paste mistake from some one similiar from Alpina
It is a re-creation faithful to the original longines legend diver.
