Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! For the camp set up we usually just show the tent, but perhaps we should do a video on how we set up our campsite in total 🤔
love the reviews thank you, very helpful information for planning a trip... and this one is on my bucket list. It would also be great to know how much fuel you used and kms travelled... I know it is different for every vehicle, but would give a ballpark figure on requirements 😎
Thanks for another great video. One of my favourite channels. Always look forward to a new video. Post pandemic, have you got any weekend workshops or something in the works? I want to take the plunge to holiday with my boys etc, but sometimes find myself nervous about inexperience and what I don't know yet 😅
Glad you enjoy the channel! Appreciate the positive feedback. Planning to launch a patreon page soon with helpful details and perhaps your suggestion is a good idea. Will think on it.
Also had ATs. Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure to be specific. We had absolutely no problems. Sensible driving and a good spare or 2 should suffice, based on our experience there.
Great video!!!
SWAMBO wants to see you do a camp set up video!!!

Nature is just absolutely beautifull thankyou Lord
We really enjoyed the unspoilt solitude and nature of Kokerboom.
Not sure why uneven ground is a problem for a tent, a simple two man air mattress from Quechua solves that problem fast

I haven't done the fuel consumption calculations, although we did log the data. Will have to check 🤔

Just do it. It'll work out and you will have fantastic memories and stories to tell... don't over plan.
Have you been to Kokerboomkloof?
How do Tyres fare there > I have a Hilux 2x4 with AT tyres
Also had ATs. Goodyear Wrangler All Terrain Adventure to be specific. We had absolutely no problems. Sensible driving and a good spare or 2 should suffice, based on our experience there.
At the best of my knowledge, the water is pumped from the orange river and then not drinkable
Thanks for that info. No signs at the site so we used our own water.
