How many times did I watch this film during recurrent training, I can't remember. But it did cover exactly what needed to be done to evacuate the B-727, Sure, it looks old now, but it proved to be worthy. Along with our cabin team members, we were ready if needed. Flight attendants were the first line of passenger safety and they took the responsibility seriously. TWA was known as the best trained.
after all these years, I still have my EMERGENCY PROCEDURES MANUAL..... I also have my F/A Cabin procedures...Wasnt FAR's fun????? SOOOOOOOOO many moons ago Those were the days!!!! TWAgone but NEVER forgotten!!!
“The aft stairs can only be lowered on the ground.” Thank you D.B. Cooper
Why would you want to open the aft stairways in mid flight? To get rid of a problematic passenger maybe LOL.

I believe the other appropriate comment is "D.B Cooper has entered the chat" 😀
My choice to the USA was always TWA (L-1011) and only one on a B747 back to Europe.
Continental US Flights, only TWA B-727.
How I miss them 😢.
