Shattered Existence blew me away the first time I heard it all those fucking years ago...I agree with you dude...only people like us keep them alive...cheers, brother!
I can't believe I've never heard of these guys before! They kick ass! everything from the cool bass intro to the weird time signatures and stuff, Xentrix Rules!
That has to be on of the best "outros" from the late 80s early 90s...I have lived in Florida all my life and I was listening to Xentrix back in 1989...If the internet would have been around back then this band would be way more popular today!
Hell i love this album !!! It was a great time for hard music between 1987 and 1995 !!! Thank God I was old enough back there and saw most of the heroes live. I´m born in ´75... For example DEATH on the "Human"-tour with the CYNIC members...
Was listening to Xentrix when I was teen. Although it sounds a bit dated now, especially when you consider modern production values, this was a great track when it came out. I still have this on vynil! If only I still had a vynil player, haha!! ;-p
So many memories !!!! Very GOOOOOD !!!!!! My prefered song, specially at the break in the middle !!! Que de bon souvenirs ! Que du bon !!!!! Ma chanson préférée, surtout le break au milieu !
Some of the guys from Xentrix have started a band called Hellfighter. They sound awesome. They are on the net, free downloads on myspace, under hellfightermetal. Hellfighter play Bloodstock Open Air Metal Festival, Derby, UK, on Sat, 16 Aug, on the unsigned stage.
just bought the dvd GET THRASHED! so to any1 who likes good music, check out these guys! englands best kept secret. these guys should be part of the big 4! i really miss this band. thrash till death!!!
This song has got so many kick ass riffs in it. It certainly has a strong And Justice For All feel plus better production and better solos (and I'm a huge Metallica fan). I love that closing riff\m/\m/ UK I think in terms of Thrash chose quality over quantity, some really unique bands like Sacrilege (female fronted Thrash), Onslaught and these guys (just the bands I've heard a bit cause I'm new in UK Thrash so I've left out some others). I also love Evile:)
i was privilaged tobe on the thanks list of their last album scourge, sony music stopped these guys from going any further, the last album hit the streets with no promotion wotsoever, nobody knew it was out, i was lucky enough to know these guys from the band i played in and these guys deserved better, screw you sony
@destruction143 I don't know. I used to watch Headbangers Ball, not too long ago. They played this kind of music. But it may be different in the USA, I don't know.
@christalmann Vektor, Hexen, Warpath, Evil Army, In Solitude, Diamond Plate, Fog of War, Exmortus- just a few examples of some sick modern bands. Vektors album Black Future is in my top 5, probably top 3 albums ever and Evil Army are the new kings of crossover.
This band is one of the most excellent but overlooked bands ever.
Shattered Existence blew me away the first time I heard it all those fucking years ago...I agree with you dude...only people like us keep them alive...cheers, brother!
This is simply just perfect. God I miss Those days.
Invade in trust, ideals unjust
Hide your reality
Invisible truth, enslaving youth
For useless vanity
PURE EPIC CHORUS!
Even thou I was a baby when MTV played music like this.... I feel that I miss this MTV...
Thrashers! Four dudes jamming in the desert. It doesn't get any more more thrash metal than that.
I just found out about Xentrix!!!
Amazing, pure and true sound!!!
Once i had a voucher went to the music store picked their cassette no idea who they were, Jackpot, i was so pleased such original music.
The thing i love about this band is that they were musically complex giving that megadeth feel. Great bass too!
Fuck megadeth
And justice for all... pt. 2
this is better
And A better drummer 🫵🥁
got this album for christmas. Totally blown away. It fucking shreds! \m/
Im 16, i miss the gold era of music, i could just imagine 20 years ago, just rock and metal songs playing all the day in the radios and in mtv.
I can't believe I've never heard of these guys before! They kick ass! everything from the cool bass intro to the weird time signatures and stuff, Xentrix Rules!

Havard was a great Guitarist !
Listened to this album surely 500 times..

Hell i love this album !!!

Saw them at the Saint Helens show circa 1990, I think, may have been earlier. Little tent. Great performance. Loved them in my teens.

these lyrics are so true

UK I think in terms of Thrash chose quality over quantity, some really unique bands like Sacrilege (female fronted Thrash), Onslaught and these guys (just the bands I've heard a bit cause I'm new in UK Thrash so I've left out some others). I also love Evile:)
Thank god these guys are back!
this is awsome.
Tuomas Holopainen likes this song so i came to it with high expectations..it delivers
Underrated bad promoted great thrash machine.
yesssssss
Dublin with Kreator and Evile
this is the second best song ever! after souls of black!
they are playing on the UK dates supporting Kreator in April
Good choice!
I wish. They were one of the bands I was hoping would reunite and record another album :(
i cant believe this band came from Preston where i live :D

But Hails for the Post of the video! \m/thrash\m/!
it's shit that MTV doesn't show such videos today......
Sunday evening, Headbangersball "the tripel trash treat" with Vanessa Warwick! i taped them all
i was privilaged tobe on the thanks list of their last album scourge, sony music stopped these guys from going any further, the last album hit the streets with no promotion wotsoever, nobody knew it was out, i was lucky enough to know these guys from the band i played in and these guys deserved better, screw you sony
ill agree with ya man on one thing, just from personal experience it doesnt matter what band youre in or how well liked it is, someone wont like it
Wow, they're from Preston, Lancashire? :D Never knew that....that's quite cool, I'm not too far from Preston :P
I was going to say something but you said it best.
One of the newer bands that reminds me of Xentrix is Evile!
gotta agree with RottenCarcass1 & Mafia2223 ( ,under rated band..and a good bunch of lads..a class act
Meee legend Thrash!!

@destruction143 I don't know. I used to watch Headbangers Ball, not too long ago. They played this kind of music. But it may be different in the USA, I don't know.
did they actually show this in mtv back in the day? amazing
Xentrix , Heathen and Slammer are 3 great british Thrash metal bands 🤘🔥
Heathen are from San Francisco 😬

I'm watching it after 16 Years again. F***in Hell, it is really brilliant!
this is so cool! makes me miss my hair even more... have they made more songs like this one?

@christalmann Vektor, Hexen, Warpath, Evil Army, In Solitude, Diamond Plate, Fog of War, Exmortus- just a few examples of some sick modern bands. Vektors album Black Future is in my top 5, probably top 3 albums ever and Evil Army are the new kings of crossover.
It's hard to believe MTV used to play this kind of stuff. How the times have changed.
I really with they'd make more albums :(
@Rammsteinmetz I guess so but i think it is the basses from each band that makes the music sound a bit different.
I love ths ong, although for once I actually wish the acoustic part was longer!
i agree with the metallica comment, sounds like it should be on and justice for all
the bassist (macka) is my friends dad and he used to live round the corner from me :O
A friend asked me: "Why do you always listen to bands no one knows?" ... no comment...Xentrix Rule \m/
